I recommend that you allow him to do this, as he then sees your computer in real time while you watch him 'arrow' around, repairing the problem or showing you how to do what you had been trying. In fact, I called him today, allowed him to log in, and, in a few minutes, we fixed it at no charge. You will be extremely satisfied with Guy's expert and professional work. He diagnosed the issue with my circa 2017 iMac and said the hard drive was shot. He was incredibly responsive on Yelp messages, phone calls, and texts. Unlike most shops, Victor doesn't charge for a diagnostic. He went above and beyond to figure out what was going on with my laptop and even ordered another separate power brick (on his own dime) just to see if it was that. He found the problem, called the manufacturer for the replacement part and gave a fair price for the part + labor. I ultimately did not go through with the repair as I decided to buy a PC.
