Jamison Computer took good care of my iMac which had the screen connected by clips after a mostly successful home-job of upgrading to an internal SSD (mostly because I didn't do a good job reattaching the screen and it was just kind of hanging there...) Lance was incredibly knowledgeable about this procedure and not only did a great job permanently affixing the screen, but actually helped improve the overall performance of the machine by removing an extra adapter / heat sensor which wasn't needed after the original upgrade. Friend recommended this when MacBook Pro screen wouldn't turn on. Apple has a flat rate $750 repair for out of warranty MacBooks. I went here and they charged $65 to diagnose and $20 to discharge the static of the battery. Friendly, knowledgeable, couldn't recommend them more. read more

I previous technician incorrectly installed a new hard drive and - following that - my computer became slower and slower. Based on the Yelp reviews, I took it to Jamison to get it repaired. I left it at their shop for analysis. I quickly got a very well-written and informative e-mail stating the problems and suggesting two paths we could take in getting it to run properly...one being the most economical and the other making additional improvements that would make my computer run better than ever. I decided on the run-better-than-ever option as I do a lot of video editing on Adobe Premiere (which is a real power hog). I've just gotten my computer back and it is really running fast! Thanks!!! I have had a recurring issue with my computer for over a year. I would bring it into the shop but it could never be recreated so it was tough to diagnose. Last month, Jamison found an issue with the hard drive and replaced it quickly. The computer was fine for a month and then the problem came back. I returned to Jamison and found an issue with the RAM stick after going through everything. They replaced the parts at no charge and told me to go ahead and use it for 60 days to see if it happens again. I was given the RAM sticks as a courtesy which I thought was very reasonable as they stood by their previous diagnosis and still ensured that my computer was repaired. Lance is great. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to when I am asking technical questions and explains things in a way I can understand. I am not a computer expert. I'll keep going to Jamison when I need computer work. Hopefully not too often. Good job guys. read more

Took my PC into Jamison to have it fixed when I did something dumb to it the night before ( not gonna elaborate ). I was recommended to come to this location by a friend. I brought in my MacBook Pro 2011 that was going soooooooooo slow. I have been an avid computer user and just did not want to put in the time to repair or figure it out, but at the same time did not want to spend a ton of money. It's too bad, I use to really like these guys but they dropped the ball. I had my business computer in there for a repair. When I dropped it off the said they needed to reinstall Windows 10. I gave them a couple of days to do the work but after a week I started to worry. I called and it still wasn't done. They had my computer for almost two weeks and then never reinstalled any programs back on it which took me another day to do it.
