Upon being brought to the room, the dental hygienist and dentist were very nice. I came here for a filling and both of them were joking and having like conversations to whole time, which made it very relaxed. There was a small dog walking around the office, which was super cute and also allowed me to pet her while I was getting the operation done. Dr. Melika explain things really well and the fillings look great. I'm coming back for a cleaning and I'm thinking this is probably where I'll have my regular dentist appts going forward.

The energy in her office was friendly and calm. I decided she would be my full time dentist. In this dental office I recieved something I've never had. I found this highly Disgusting! Secondly, anytime I tried to ask a question with this same person, I was abruptly interrupted half way every time I spoke. Regardless of how many attempts to finish the same question (did she just not hear me?), I was continually met with the same repetitive interruption, "you can ask Dr. Baskerville". Not showing a bit of concern of what I had to say, or even knowing what I was going to ask, pretty much made me feel uncomfortable enough to just want to leave. At this very same time, Dr. Baskerville walked in, asked me how i was doing, and to be honest, let him know exactly how I felt, and at that very moment made the decision to leave, hoping to avoid any further conflict. Why didn't I just overlook it all, and continue my appointment? In my mind, complaining about it only made matters worse, as the assistant was within ear shot the entire time, knowing she would be the one assisting my Dentist. Especially having had the previous experience of many times, having this same person continually jam the vacuum hose into my mouth, causing intermittent sharp pain, and deep enough to cause me to want to gag. A problem I've never had with other dental assistants. I never complained about it then, but enough is enough. During this time, I was told, "People have their good days and bad days". This is true, and that's ok, but highly recommend, if having a bad day, stay home, and don't position yourself around people who solely rely on positive reassurance and trust while in a dental chair.
