Maurice performed the work without telling me the price so I was out over $500 not expecting that to have been the price to service my AC, I wouldn't have done the work on the car had I known that was to be the price. Whatever - bit the bullet & I'm just thankful to have had my AC fixed. Low and behold 6 months later the AC is no longer working and it's been winter so it could've stopped working sooner than 6 months. I just took my car back to get it troubleshot by Maurice after making an appointment & he now tells me it'll be $200 just to look at the car and assess its problem, saying there is no warranty on the repair work he did previously & that if I don't like that, to take it elsewhere to get it serviced. So all in all, this is a warning to anybody looking for a shop that provides warranty or honest work, keep looking elsewhere.

The price of gas was about average for the SF Bay Area. I had to get mid-grade to offset some cheap gas I pumped the night before. I went inside to use the restroom. WOW! This restroom was super clean. It was like a showroom for bathroom fixtures. The food mart was clean too. It was well stocked with all the snacks, drinks, and candies. No public restroom and that food shop is tight for space inside. But it's loaded with everything you could want. The usual stuff like: Snacks, drinks, sandwiches, candy, ice cream, etc. FACT: A hungry driver gets tired faster. So grab something to munch on while driving. The young lady working as cashier is very polite and patient with customers. This shop is small inside. When 3 customers come inside, you can barely turn around. I go out expecting the pump (# 3) to be finished. BUT NO! It stopped at the 5.5 gallon mark. Yikes, this is not good. I had to restart the pump, and then went back inside to find out why the pump stopped. The polite cashier told me pump #3 sometimes stops for no reason due to vibrations or shaking. Uh-okay, so the nozzle clicks off due to ground vibration. Okay, so more time to buy more junk food for the road. Gas prices are high here. On Feb 10, 2023, UL REG was $4.85 without discounts. Midgrade and Prem are over $5-gallon. But this station is on Woodside Road. A major roadway leading to freeways. Heavy traffic flow. People like me carry the gas cards of five major brands of gasoline. Shell is top tier gas, and today Shell got my business. This location has no carwash. Although there are places that have it in full-size drums and pails, this station is the only one…read morein the area that sells 100 octane street-legal race fuel from Sunoco at the actual pump. It currently costs $10 per gallon, which is 40% more than premium. However, my sports car gets 40% better mileage on 100 octane fuel (so I fill up less often), and it runs more smoothly and powerfully, so I try to use this all the time. I confirmed with the manufacturer that it's fine to use this fuel full-time, and the rep even sounded a little jealous-- the only downside is that there is no adjusted redline in my engine software, although the ECU does automatically adjust to the higher quality fuel. That's my long way of saying that this is why they have 100 octane fuel-- it just makes sense to use it in a car that can take advantage of the benefits. The station even has Sunoco stickers, and they will give you a handful of them if you ask. I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about with poor service, or otherwise, although I guess I don't see that negative side of the ownership when I'm spending around $150 on a fill-up plus buying Gatorade in the store on top of the fuel. I also make it a point to mention that I appreciate the Sunoco offering every time I go in. So basically, it's worth putting up with some issues for access to this fuel. I'd say it's a 4-star offering, which is more than I can say of most gas stations.
