Route 66 morning view from the Canyon Lodge

Amazing!!!! Evertime we come through Arizona on our way to Colorado we make it a point to stop here and see our friends! This hotel is THE CLEANEST HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN TO! The beds are comfortable and it's very quiet and restful after a long day in the road. Wonderful coffee and free continental breakfast is always a plus! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STOP HERE!

What a great little gem. We stumbled upon this after getting stuck on the road late at night. The rooms are super cute with their unique themes. They are clean and appear to be newly remodeled the TVs are great Wi-Fi is fast and despite being near the train it's not horribly loud. free continental breakfast 6 AM to 8 AM and a charming host are all a bonus. This quaint roadside stay is worth a stop and quite affordable.

BEST place to stay in Seligman, AZ! Reinhard and Mike will go out of their way to ensure guests have the best experience at Canyon Lodge! Cleanest and coolest place to stay: each room has it's own theme (50s, Elvis, Rte 66 were our rooms). Immaculate. Comfortable. Only positive things to report. Balcony seating area for the sunrise/sunset and to watch tour busses stop. Seligman is "Radiator Springs" from the movie "Cars." Drive slowly & stop often (or walk!): You'll see the actual cars that became animated stars of the movie! Nicest people in Seligman! If you plan to spend a night in Seligman, the best place is Canyon Lodge! Tell Reinhard the family from Texas referred you!!!

This was the perfect stay! Our unexpected stay was due to the interstate being closed down we ended up in Seligman. This little lodge was adorable, clean, comfortable and well decorated. We stayed in the Elvis Room and my sons staying in the Route 66 room. There was coffee and a refrigerator. Everything was clean and all details noted

This is my first (but not last) visit to the Canyon Lodge. An independently owned authentic "Route 66" motel. It's been all fixed up and brought up to current standards with everything that you'd expect. Fast internet, spotlessly clean rooms, each with a different theme. Easy parking right in front of your room door (I often miss that) and truly friendly service from the owner who lives on premises. About a billion channels of Satellite TV and... as an engineer this is important to me... EVERYTHING WORKS! As an aside, I often find myself making repairs to things in Hotel rooms... The owners are German and as you'd expect, everything is tidy, functional and in its place. This is a great place to stay. Lots of attention to detail here! I'm very happy and you will be too should you have the good fortune to stay here!

    Hollywood stars room. Such elegance.

Great stay in Seligman. Nice guy full of information. Great location. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Nice human scale. All the amenities. Thanks. We had the Hollywood stars room. Special. Recommended.

Canyon Lodge is stuck in the middle of Seligman, AZ. Right along what used to be Route 66... this town is now nothing more than a bunch of shops selling throwback '50s memorabilia and a couple of hotels. Overall all though, I'm glad we decided to stop at Canyon Lodge right around midnight as I was moving from Los Angeles to Detroit. The place was reasonably priced (around $40 for the night), pretty clean, and had some cool interior decorations. Also... flat panel televisions. So they weren't massive screens like in a Vegas hotel, but it was something in itself just to see those suckers there. My room was like something out of a Beach Boys fan's wet dream. Surf board posters, pictures of woodies (the car, you perverts), and all that crap that makes you want to pick up Jack Kerouac's 'On the Road' and drive across the country yourself. They didn't even charge me extra for having a dog. Now that was pretty dang cool and one of the only places across the whole country that didn't. Major props to the folks runnin' this place. The only part that might make you a little uncomfortable is that it is a hotel basically in the middle of nowhere. It's kind of like being in one of those scary movies where all the power goes out, the rain is pouring down, and there's a killer on the loose coming to get you. That's also part of the excitement, I guess. What can I say? I dug the place. Good rooms at a cheap price. You can't shake a stick at that.

Pretty fancy for a motel I'd say! I didn't know what theme I would want or anything of that nature so I just went with the flow! Luckily I got the Vegas room! I loved it! I did use my own pillow case (I was worried about allergies) but that's just me being a little paranoid with motels! However the room was pretty clean, bathroom was decent-- they provide soap and shampoo, dish network and a nice 32 " TV, continental breakfast (pastries in packages, oatmeal, coffee, selected cereals, and bananas. The ac was kinda loud! It was the in the wall unit type of ac-- rooms have a fridge and coffee pot as well as a dining table.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of this place. The owners are very nice people and the room was spotless and smelled clean. It seemed like they just went through an extensive renovation, because even the windows and A/C units seemed brand new, but I forgot to ask. There is coffee and some breakfast foods in the office in the mornings. Location is very convenient, close to the Interstate, right on Old Route 66 along with several food options, and close to the middle of nowhere, which was a huge plus for us because we were interested in checking out the night sky away from all the light pollution of large cities. Turns out we only had to drive out about 10 minutes to find some very dark skies where you can see all the stars and even the Milky Way and lots of meteors, if you're lucky. To a bunch of city people, the stargazing was one of the high points of the trip.

Mini Fridge & Microwave. Room is warm upon arrival (this is a review written in the winter). Just okay-- No ice machine. Bare minimum decor. Poor lighting in the room. Overall-- I'd stay here again, but the price point is a little high for the value. A pretty good experience in general!

Arrived late. It is great arriving here…read more I've arrived at Hualapai Lodge since about 1993. I was what the old-timer's called an "Indian Agent." For 36 years I had a professional relationship with our Nation's tribes in Natural Resource Issues; farming, grazing, transportation, forestry, wildland fire, fire rehabilitation, forest and woodland fuels. Tribal business sense and economic development skills have grown, developed and steadily appeared. In 1981, two Traditional Elders of the Yakama and Wanapum Bands of the Columbia River said, "...We're gonna Indianize you chris..." That has happened no matter where my feet landed. Because I was formally introduced to the Baha'i Faith by a Yakama Tribal member, signing my "declaration card" on the Yakama Nation, I have participated in sharing and discussions many of my "Last of the White Guys" co-workers never knew. My views toward "Indian Country" are weighted to the positive side. I see the positive, not so much the negative. I know the distance traveled since my wife's mother was removed from her home, age 7, and trucked to the Truxton Canyon Boarding School, later to the Phoenix Indian School. That is why we booked our stay here on TripAdvisor. We ended up driving more than our planned 6 hours per day, arriving 9:30 p.m. Saturday, May, 23, 2026. We called ahead as the sky darkened. Our room waited, reserved as contracted. What did we expect? Comfortable bed, bathing and brushing, some rest, a morning meal. Be advised, Peach Springs is the source of "The Peach Springs Oscillator." The Pacific Railroad Act of 1862, "An Act to aid in the construction of a railroad and telegraph line from the Missouri river to the Pacific ocean, and to secure to the government the use of the same for postal, military, and other purposes." Great spot to take tours from. We did the 1 day River Raft trip which was awesome! Couple things to be aware of: There is no cellular service available (we use TMobile). The only service we had was in the lodge using their "captive" wi fi which said it would sell our information to 3rd parties as we had to provide email and name and zip to connect..not ideal. The other thing is no alcohol is allowed on the property at all even in the room or face a $200 fine. I understand if the tribe doesn't want to sell alcohol, but a beer in the room...this should be allowed.
