We had decided we couldn't live one more day without a new mattress, so we woke up and went across the street. I had been trying to buy a holistic mattress for 6 months already. And bought one that smelled and returned it. I ended up here, buying something different. It has been very comfortable and I really like it. We can finally sleep after months of disrupted uncomfortable sleep. I thought the service was quick and excellent. My only complaint is that upon delivery the bottom of the mattress was ripped by the boys who delivered it. In all honestly I'm sure my cats will get to it at some point, but still... Heard their prices were comparable and honestly was quite lazy and didn't want to drive all over town to price match. So Yes, the did have pretty good prices but Star 4 and Star 5 came completely from their customer service. Their friendly staff set them apart from any other time I've ever had to purchase a bed- lets say at least 5 times in just as many years. They were helpful, offered mattress in many different price ranges, styles, let us lay on all of them! We ended walking out of there with three new mattresses. Purchased a memory foam mattress and a box spring. The mattress was ok...nothing spectacular... but the box spring was low quality. Not like what I saw on the display area. It was short by two inches on both length and width. I mentioned it and was told they will bring another. They came back with the same exact box spring. So the frame had a couple inches of space. Told the owner to change his suppliers because the quality has more to be desired. For the $$ it cost me to purchase here, I could have gone to Mattress Firm instead. read more

I recently went with my Mother shopping for a mattress. Mom wanted to help support a small business and purchase a mattress and box spring at canyon mattress. My mom had had a really bad experience with Costco selling her a fosters mattress with box springs that did not fit her mattress. It was very upsetting Costco did this to my mother not once but twice. Costco then had to tell her they were out of stock of the correct box spring for this mattress they would refund her money. She loved this mattress and just needed guidance to purchase box springs that fit? Costco would rather loose money then help her find box springs? Costco didn't seem to care!! I think the selection in store is great plus they have catalogs full of order-able beds that are stunning. I found the customer service to be excellent, the owner was kind to show me different mattresses, and different options took the time to show me no rushing into "this is the only bed you need" style other places do because the workers are lazy.
