From a bartender/ server, I can say I'm always looking for good service and he delivered. The food was really good we had the ham and chicken croquetas, as well as carnitas frita de cerdo. The ham croquettes were suggested by Alejandro and they were so good. He also suggested we did the Lacon con papas and he did not disappoint. It's cooked for 4 hours and it's so soft and yummy. We were celebrating my girls birthday and he brought out a nice Dubai chocolate cake and sang happy birthday. Super nice I suggest seating outside in the patio. It's hot but there's many fans. The decor it's giving Cuba. I loved it. I had been here before in 2021 but Alejandro truly made our experience better and worth it. I would definitely come back We got cortaditos to go and they were really good and authentic. If you're looking for real Cuban food. This place is it.

Was finally seated and waited a while before our server came. She greeted us and asked if we wanted water we said yes and would have put in a drink order but was gone before my husband could ask. About 10 minutes later she brought our waters. She ask if we wanted an appetizer which we ordered the ground beef empanada and my husband ordered margaritas for both of us. Our empanada was brought out along with our margaritas. The empanada was absolutely delicious!! So delicious!! The margaritas were ok. Our server then took our dinner order I ordered Media Noche (sloppy joe style). My husband ordered a Frita Cubana. When our food was served my so called Media Noche was a Cuban sandwich no sloppy Joe in any way. It was ok but I had a Cuban sandwich the day before that tasted so much better! My husband was sorry that he ordered the sandwich he ordered not very good and said he'd never order again. Heads up to all they automatically add a 18% tip to every bill! Make sure you pay attention and don't add an additional tip. Also a photographer actually sat in my husbands bench seat to take a picture of the diners next to us! Really??? Our server never came back, never checked on us absolutely terrible service!!! They did have chickens and roosters running around, did have music playing and had a live band in the indoor seating. If I had an option I would not go back to this restaurant!

It's a classic Cuban thinly sliced steak, marinated in a special mojo sauce and seared to perfection. Seafood Lobster This steaming hot dish is a seafood feast! Its vibrant color is immediately appealing. It's packed with ingredients: large shrimp, sweet clams, and plump mussels. The rice absorbs the seafood's umami flavor, turning an enticing golden color. Service is ok waitress was friendly but doing their job for the company to max out their profits. Ambiance is what you expect of all the south beach locations seemingly an extension of Havana if you been there. I would rank as 4 stars for the food but downgrade because they added a lot of random stuff to the menu just to get those who dont know real cuban food to eat there such as burgers and pasta lol. It would get 5 stars if they were authentic trying to offer strictly cuban only and reasonably priced. Because they take advantage of tourist and are here just for the money I lowered it to 3.

Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. The food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. While brunch is our favorite, their lunch and dinner are just as great, and the new tapas and wine area they recently added is a fantastic addition. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

AMBIANCE Parking: Dedicated lot and surrounding parking options, though it can get busy during peak hours. Seating: Plenty! Large dining rooms capable of accommodating individuals, families, tour groups, and everyone in between. Vibes: Welcome to Little Havana. It's a bit spaced out for you to experience Cuban culture. The restaurant itself gives you that classic, old-school charm with some history of the Cuban community. I dig the Cuban music giving it a nice cultural touch. This spot is no hidden gem. This is a common place for everyone - locals to tourists. FOOD / DRINKS Cubano (Recommend) Ofcourse you have to get a Cubano. Nothing too flashy but definitely gets the job done. Classic pressed bread with a satisfying crunch with a medley of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard to give it a nice savory and comforting taste. Every bite had a good balance of texture and flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Awesome! Efficient and experienced. They know this place serves a lot of people so they know they had to come correct. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. Great selections, fair prices, and a solid cultural experience. Versailles does a great job perserving and celebrating Cuban culture. For those interested for that Cuban-Miami experience, this is the place to be. TIPS * Come hungry--the portions are generous

Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.
