Talks proudly how he punishes his children by locking them in a closet. Every day brings his peanut butter sandwich or some other stuff from hoje. Cheap, and stingy, When procedures are done, the receptionist puts all the bloody items in a washing machine and later into the drier. Does not follow the NYS law. Dr. Lesesne is a really smart doctor who is dedicated to the ever changing practice of plastic surgery. I came in about a month ago while I was visiting NYC (& luckily he was able to squeeze me in for surgery). I thought my face changed since I lost baby fat in my 20s & I think he had a great vision & plan for how to make my face the most beautiful it can be. Which was to take out my chin implant, & graft fat to my jawline. (I never would have thought about fat grafting- great idea! I'm very skinny (108lbs & 5'7 tall) so I was scared to get micro liposuction on my stomach because I didn't know I had enough fat for lipo. I made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Lesesne via his practice website and received an e-mail confirmation. When I arrived, there was only one staff person there. She had no idea that I had an appointment. I showed her the email confirmation, but she professed total ignorance and said that Dr. Lesesne was gone the entire week. My wife had actually purchased a procedure for me as a holiday gift. Admittedly, I did not read the fine print on the voucher at the time to see that it was supposed to be used in a short period of time. Especially given that this was in the middle of the COVID pandemic, I asked if there might be some flexibility or consideration regarding the voucher timeline. She just said "No." She then said, "You can come back if you want to pay for it" (actually, we had already paid for it). As a physician, I understand that patients can sometimes get upset about minor things - but this was ridiculous. Cosmetic surgery is an area of medicine where success is highly dependent on patient satisfaction. I am disappointed with my experience with Dr. Lesesne. He might be good for other procedures but NOT what I did. I did a liquid rhino and half syringe in my lips. My lips were uneven right after they were done. I waited for the swelling to go down and let the filler settle in for 2 weeks. Still uneven. Then I went back to get the one side dissolved. Dissolver did nothing. It's been almost 7 months and my lips are STILL UNEVEN. I feel tiny lumps as well. See picture for proof! read more

He tried to correct by opening up the incision repeatedly consequently creating heavy scars under my breasts. I am in pain from scar tissue every day of my life. Dr. Lesesne charged me $2,900 for a scar revision on my neck. It did not improve my scar; instead, it made it much worse. He is a very friendly and sweet man but my scars look worse and he seemed angry and annoyed that I was unsatisfied even though it was clearly a disaster. A huge waste of money and time. Very disappointed. And good luck getting them to answer their phone or ever call you back. Not sure how they survive on Park avenue with those work ethics. read more

NO STARS. Carroll (Cap) Lesesne is the worst cosmetic surgeon - completely inept and arrogant with a "god complex". Had to get my surgery redone after going to him to fix a deviated septum (he didn't fix it properly). I've heard of other patients whose surgeries he has also blotched. What should have been a red flag is that I didn't like his attitude after our initial consulation and after a couple of weeks, he actually called me and was pouring on the charm in order for me to go ahead with my procedure. In hindsight, I should have listened to my instincts because no respectable surgeon will ever chase you to get you as a patient (and of course, part with your money). On top of that, his operating room is less than clean. He has the most deplorable and nasty bedside manner including openly mocking my friend who came to pick me up after my procedure (she was elderly), did not answer my questions and concerns, and bragged about his patients which supposedly included celebrities and the Spainish royal family. Yeah right. No high-profile client would ever go to a doctor that is so indiscreet and unprofessional. read more

I was referred to Dr. Lesesne by my dermatologist to remove the puffy bags under my eyes. Dr. Lesesne is an amazing surgeon and his entire staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I was worried about being under anesthesia as I had a bad experience in the past, as well as the pain after, and they assured me I would be just fine. The surgery was fairly quick and I had no nausea (even after anesthesia) or pain throughout my entire recovery. I got surgery done on a Saturday morning and walked a few blocks that same day. By the next morning, I was out walking my dog in the park, went to the movies and out to lunch. I was shocked at how easy of a recovery this surgery was. I never needed to take the prescribed pain med. By day 3 with a little concealer on, no one could tell I had any bruising. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lesesne! My only regret is that I didn't get it done sooner. read more

A close friend of mine had surgery with Dr Lesesne in NY a few years ago. He really messed her face and breast up, whilst also removing her breast implant without consent, all this affected her quite badly. Not only did this surgeon perform bad surgery, he literally left my friend/his patient tied to his operating table unattended going on 3 hours. Obviously she started a lawsuit against him, he got vindictive placed her medical photograph in the NY press plus personal details about her, on top of that he also brought a counter claim against her so she would drop her case, however the judge threw Dr Lesesnes case out, he lost. I imagine my friend whom is so sweet will have her day in court, personally have never seen such bad results on a young lady, from a so called top cosmetic surgeon. In my opinion after seeing his skills, he would be better off working on the front line in a far way war zone, he has zero skill. read more

Was referred to Dr. Lesesne by my Mohs surgeon for skin cancer reconstruction on my nose--cancer quite prominent. Was apprehensive both from the medical and aesthetic perspectives. The work he performed was absolutely perfect. He is a real healer. Also, Dr. Lesesne was wonderful, caring, and his team was efficient, pleasant, and supportive. AND he accepted my Medicare for this medical procedure! 'Had been treated for another skin cancer several years before by another surgeon, who was excellent. However, he did not take insurance for this medical procedure. Now retired, it was necessary and important that my surgery be covered by Medicare. Also, I had a facelift by yet another plastic surgeon many years before, also excellent. While, like most plastic surgeons, Dr. Lesesne has a Before and After book in his office documenting past aesthetic procedures, Dr. Lesesne also has a book for Skin Cancer Revisions. He is a Star for both types of surgery. Should I want--and be able to afford--straight "aesthetic" surgery in the future, I would choose Dr. Lesesne for this as well. read more

I broke my nose 2X when I was in college (30 years ago) and never had the trust or confidence in any surgeon to fix it; until I met Dr Lesesne. Other surgeons had advised it would be a difficult and painful procedure ( given how long I had let it lapse) and Dr Lesesne was of the same view. My husband had an ugly growth growing on his arm. He wan't too concerned, but I was. He went to a dermatologist that took a biopsy and confirmed that it was a squamous skin cancer. This was early August and the derm. couldn't schedule him until after Labor Day. I sent an email to Dr. Lesesne and he removed it in his office early the next week. The pathology report came back with clean margins after Dr.Lesesne removed the skin cancer. Dr. L. has a great eye for detail.My husband will go back to him for two to three years every three months to be monitored. I haven't heard of any doctors checking up on a patient's progress like this. My husband feels so much better now that he is under the care of Dr. Lesesne. Good doctors that truly care about their patients are becoming as rare as people holding the door for each other. I went to Dr. Cap Lesesne for a "mommy makeover" that consisted of a c-section scar revision, liposuction to my outer things, Botox to my forehead/crow's feet, and Restylane to my lips.
