They were great too. The radar gun for pitching the baseball was also fun. They have two rock walls which are good for ages 6 and up. They have a zip line too, but my son was not old enough to do it. The sifting for gold and gems was a blast, they have several different sized bags to choose from. They contain gems and fossils mixed with sand and you sift with running water. A real fun time. It is cash only and there are no bundles with all or some of the activities.

The play areas are fun, creative, and actually really clean, which was a nice surprise. You can tell they put effort into keeping the place nice, and that goes a long way. There are sections for 3 and under and lots of gym type stuff for the older kids. The ball pit has a projected video game that changes when the kids hit it with balls! There's a small arcade (my daughter got 3 plastic ducks), mini city, and snack vending machines with seating in addition to the play space climbing areas. The play space is large enough that parents can go in too - so you're never in a situation where your kid is upset and you can't get to them. $17 with no time limit was wonderful! I highly recommend. I drove here from Quincy - about 40 minutes away. It's worth the drive!

But succumbing to this tourist attraction was just plain good for the soul. We had a large group with little ones ranging from ages 1-8, and some 40 y/o-ish adults who were child-sized and/or child-like at heart. This made for one of the best memories we've made on this island. There was something for everyone. The 1 yo was saying "Argh" by the end, the 3-5 yo's were thrilled to be in the action, and even my 8 yo who I thought may be slightly too old for it got into his "Salty Dog" character, and asked me at the end, "How did they coordinate something like this??" We adults were laughing the whole time. The crew was fantastic, and props to the newest pirate Riptide who would come check to see if the baby wanted to partake in the revelry ;) My sixth star is for the precision and attention to detail, going the extra mile (personalized kids' "pirate name" tags made in advance), good people all around. The Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum is a pleasant little spot far from Mashpee's main…read morethoroughfares, despite the fact it is on Main Street. It's a short distance from a brewery, Dunkin', and Cape Cod Coffee. It is fairly easy to find, housed in a small historic home. Admission is $8, plus there is a small gift shop. Members of the tribe give tours, there is a replica of a native house, one learns about the life of the Wampanoag, the "Indians of Thanksgiving." A recent exhibit was about the lives of Wampanoag whalers, and the importance of the whale to native life. There is ample parking beside a traditional herring run that is still in use. Fascinating, insightful museum, well worth a visit.
