My new go-to hair salon! I loved getting a haircut from Shara. She is so professional and personable at the same time. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and suggested ways to better shape my hair based on my face. I love when hair stylists go above and beyond what I ask for, so I appreciated that. She styled my hair by straightening it with a flat iron and I felt fabulous afterwards! I left with my hair feeling and looking silky, soft, and shiny. The salon itself is well decorated and welcoming. I love the colors and decor Shara chose for her space--it definitely made me feel warm and comfortable! Side note: the salon is located in Sola Salon at Northgate North Shopping Center in the same complex as Target and Best Buy. Shara is driven and talented. I usually don't book recurring hair appointments but I was easily convinced into coming back for my routine trim. She really maximized the cut I wanted for my face shape. I have long, thick hair that's not cut often, but definitely prefer having the extra bulk removed- as it makes washing, drying and styling much more expedient- but she helped frame the hair around my face quite nicely. Ive never really settled on a regular stylist, so I urchased a Groupon, and was not disappointed! Salon is located on the 4th floor of Target/Best Buy complex on East side of parking lot. Use secure call box and ring last name Moss if appointment is before 11am. She's kind, listened to what I wanted my hair to look like, and made sure we were in agreement about what I was hoping for. Not only has she given me a great precision bob (I've left two other hairdressers because they have sent me out lopsided), but I like that she weighs in about what would work and not work so well with my hair (I'm often at a loss). I bought a Groupon for this wonderful Salon a few weeks ago and I'm SO glad I did. Not only was Shara wonderful at fielding all my questions about what was happening to my hair, but she's also just a joy to be around. I walked in knowing I want to go a little lighter and a lot shorter, but wasn't sure exactly how to describe what I wanted. She took my requests and did some magic and now I am a bob-toting multidimensional dirty blonde who will likely never go back to my virgin brown ways. I would stay away. Scam. I wasted time and money. After going back to do my hair for the second time cuz it just turned back to how I originally came in... she just toned it to... but I thought she would do the full balayage (which is what I paid for) again If you're planning to color your hair... you will lose the desired color you wanted I wish I didn't go here. I thought the Groupon would be a good deal... she said not to purchase it when I made the appt... but charged the full price... she even up charged for my friends hair cutt... The salon is in the back of the parking lot which was a bit difficult to find but there's signs to follow. My mom and I arrived early for our appointment but Shara didn't mind and allowed us to start our appointments early. We received great service! She paid close attention to detail and cut our hair to fit our face shapes but also took what we prefer into consideration.
