Owner Cliff Goodwin is a very angry person. He lectured me about when I could pick up my golf cart for routine maintenance. If that wasn't enough, when I brought my golf cart back the next day so they could finish the job, he lectured me again. He also yelled at his employee who was bringing me a loaner cart. I told his employee that I didn't know how he could work for such a person. He threatened not to let me come back for service again. He doesn't have to worry about that. I never want to do business ever again with such a angry person. He just bought this business from the former owner. The Goodwin brothers also own Ennis Golf Carts in Liberty Hill. He won't do well in Sun City with his attitude. read more

I purchased a cart from a third-party and found it had an issue with the way the shock absorber was mounted. I need someone who could properly repair it which would likely require some welding and wrench-time. I turned to Capital Golf Cars. I spoke with them on the phone and they were friendly and said they'd be happy to help me out. They sent a trailer to pick it up the next day and had the entire repair done in a little more than a week at a very reasonable price. The work was well done and they even gave me a follow-up call the next day to check to make sure I was happy with the work. I'll be giving them my business in the future! Just picked up my EZGo gasoline golf cart for its one-year maintenance which is basically an oil change and a spark plug. The bill was $209.10. Also I had accidentally left my garage door opener in the golf cart when I dropped it off. When I asked about it, I was told that they never remove anything from the golf cart. So I went out and looked again to make sure it was not there. It was not, so I asked him to ask the people in the back if they had removed it. He said they had not and that they do not remove items from the golf cart. A co-worker was on the phone when we were having this conversation. As soon as he got off the phone he walked to the back. He came back a few seconds later with the garage door opener. The gentleman that was helping me was extraordinarily rude and if the other man had not been there, I would have had to buy another garage door opener. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING read more

Previous owners were WONDERFUL. Current owners charged me almost $1000 for new batteries for golf cart because it had stalled. OK, as long as it is fixed. It stalled and I was stranded AGAIN. Called them and I guess they knew they hadn't done a thorough diagnostic job and so never called me back. Poor work, poorer service and word WILL get around. read more

They said yes they have one and just come by and pick it up. I mean Liberty Hill is close to almost nothing. I go by and they said this particular Yamaha cart has a specialized key and they can't get the parts at this time. What? A key? I called back to speak to someone and they said they would have to call me back later in the day when they weren't so busy. Well, it's two weeks later. I'm taking my lumps and moving on....

So many reasons not to use this company. The latest is them charging me $85 plus tax to come get…read moreand deliver our golf cart that has been broken for almost a year after them replacing the batteries. They replaced the batteries (took over 2 months) and ever since the replacement the cart would not work correctly. We kept telling them it was a wiring or bad battery issue. They picked up the cart three times and brought it back to us basically telling us we were the crazy ones. This last time they picked it up and finally found it was a bad battery and wiring. Ding ding ding. Like we said. I'm irate at the fact they would even ask for money from us after not being able to use the cart for nearly a year and leaving us stranded 3 times after it broke down right after telling us everything was okay. First time they delivered it we tried to use for Halloween but none of the lights worked they forgot to plug something in so we didn't get to use it, they picked it back up bright it back we tried to use it for a Christmas parade and got stranded a mile into it with the cart jerking and shutting off, they picked it up returned it for a 3rd time we paid to have a $100 battery meter, this time I got stranded picking up the kids from school with the battery meter full, it just shut off no power to the cart but they still didn't believe me that the cart was charged even with photo proof. All in all they had our cart more than we did this year returned it 3 times with nothing fixed. Funny thing is I was going to add a tip that they made things right but after them charging us anything do not so business with this company. I will attach all of our emails and photos when I get a chance. Originally when we bought our cart they said it would be 5-6 weeks, yall it was about 3 months. Just this 4th time them having it to fix it, under warranty, they had it for nearly two months. Do not trust this company. Even today he called and asked if I would be home this afternoon, he explained they were currently loading the cart and would be by about 1pm and would that be okay. I said yes, made my way back home to be there for them. I arrived home at 12:30 waited until 2:55, nothing. Then at 3:10pm I get the call the driver is there to deliver the cart and they can't leave it because they need to collect money. We have never been so inconvenienced by a company. Do not go through the hell we have with this company. Save yourself the headache and use Kenfeild. I used kenfeild for years working in the apartment industry and never once had an issue with them. Used them at 4 properties I managed and they were incredible. Sadly they didn't have a cart when we were shopping and that's when we made the mistake of using Ennis. They did replace the charger, which had had zero complaints about. Blake seemed to want extra praise for doing that, thank you for the new charger. However it was not something we complained about or asked for. Our old charger worked just fine.

They never complained about how old my "baby" (what I call my vintage golf cart) was. I had an issue with my 4runner bumper and fender not aligning well that resulted from having an…read moreaftermarket bumper installed by another shop that didn't do a great job. There was a huge gap in the middle and then on each side of the fender and it was driving me nuts every time I saw it. I tried reaching out to several highly rated shops online including American Autobody. I either got no reply to my email about it or even in one case, the shop owner said his toyota had the same issue and he wasn't sure how to fix it. American Autobody responded and told me to come by so they could take a look which I did a few days later. They seemed confident they could make it look quite a bit better so after a few months of waiting, I scheduled time to get it in the shop and also decided to have them remove a door ding from my driver's side. The door ding is completely gone and the bumper looks so much better. The people at the shop were friendly and the price wasn't bad either. Next time I have a need for any body work or if anyone asks me of a good body shop, I'll be referring them to these guys. Pics attached of the original issue.

So surprised to see a couple bad reviews. I purchased a golf cart there and have had service there too. Ryan has been exceptional. I was heading to Sun City to by a used golf cart and my father in-law suggested we stop by Capital Golf cart. This is where he has purchased batteries etc in the past for his golf cart. Very knowledgeable and I got a great deal. I upgraded some features and also feel like the service is great too.
