As a first time owner doing renovations I was beyond nervous about finding a contractor to work with that I could trust to be fair with us and deliver quality work on time. After going through two projects with Capital Mark I can honestly say that working with them has been one of the best experiences I've had as a homeowner. We live in MN full time and bought a small home in Gilbert, AZ 1 1/2 years ago. We knew our master and spare bath needed a remodel, but were concerned how difficult it would be not being there during the remodel and not being familiar with a reputable contractor there. After doing some researching, I found Capital Mark Interiors and was impressed by all of the stellar reviews. Kyle returned my phone call right away and we were able to get put on his schedule to start the process. With only a couple of in-person visits with him and his design staff, Sarah, the process had begun. We have done some bath and kitchen remodel projects at our MN home so we had some ideas of what to expect. While I found choosing some of the design elements online challenging, Sarah was attentive and helpful throughout the whole process. The whole process was also very organized, planned out, and on a schedule. Communication was always abundant and phone calls or emails with any questions or concerns were always returned quickly. The construction team was wonderful and Eric, the foreman, was so nice, and communicated by phone, texts, videos, and pics almost every day during the process. We had a large glass block window that was torn out, so the outside stucco on the house had to done. It looks so good! If we didn't know it had been fixed, we would not have been able to tell! My husband and I had been waiting years until we were financially ready to remodel our kitchen and downstairs of our home. We had met with another company in 2017, and were not pleased with the disorganization of the project manager, or his lack of listening skills. So we waited. We met with Kyle Zimmerman at the beginning of 2018, based on the great reviews online. Within 20 minutes of meeting with him at his show room, Kyle understood our vision and what we wanted for our home. He had a clear cut itemized estimate emailed to us within days. It was well within our budget and less than we had anticipated. We let Kyle know we were in, and waited 3 months until our project began in April. Kyle was great about communication, both with text message and email, prior to the start. We had a lot of question on some of the things we purchased ourself for the remodels, sinks, faucets, etc. Once the remodel started, Kyle and his team continued with the amazing communication. The timeline from start to finish for remodeling our whole 1100 square foot downstairs was only 2 1/2 weeks, just as Kyle had scheduled. After seeing a few great reviews, we called Kyle @ Capital Mark for a quote for a kitchen island reconstruction and all new countertops. I called and within an hour or so he was at our house measuring and going over the possibilities. We were very impressed so far. To check out the cabinets and countertop materials we went to his very nice storefront on Val Vista in Gilbert. With help from Kyle and his wife we decided on materials. His quote was very competitive so he gave us the proposed schedule to get the work done. They started right on time and finished early! They did a beautiful job, were very neat and conscientious. Kyle at Capital Mark was fantastic to work with. We were just going to install granite counter tops but after Kyle came to our home he suggested new cabinets and are we glad he did. What a difference! Kyle walked us through the entire process and explained everything, made some suggestions such as sliders in the cabinets. The install went surprisingly easy with no major problems at all, in fact the only problems was some of the cabinet doors had woodgrain that didn't look good. Kyle came over and immediately order replacements and that was that. My wife wanted to add extra sliders when job was almost complete and it was no problem. The installers were John and his son Jason and they were excellent, very nice and personable. Their work is second to none. They were always on time and at the end of each day they completely cleaned up the work areas. I've had experiences on other projects in the past and with out a doubt this was the BEST. Capital Mark recently completed a complete kitchen remodel for me and I couldn't be more pleased. We contacted Capital Mark to remodel our master bathroom. From the beginning, the process was timely, organized, and pleasant. They showed up on time (and every day!), they worked hard all day, and they cleaned everything up at the end of each work day.
