Drop Zone Computer Company is hands down one of the best computer companies I have ever worked…read morewith. The brothers and business partners behind this company are truly amazing. They have built multiple high performance computers for us, repaired and upgraded our hotel computer systems, handled complex troubleshooting, and helped us with countless technology needs over the years. They may cost a little more than hiring a high school or college student who knows the basics, but there is absolutely no comparison when it comes to their knowledge, experience, professionalism, and ability to solve problems. It is not always about finding the cheapest price. It is about having someone who understands what works, what does not work, what components are compatible, and how to create the right solution without wasting your time or money. They built me a custom Terra case computer that ended up costing well over $7,000 to $10,000 when everything was completed. Fitting that level of performance into the case was not easy, but they figured it out. Anytime a part did not fit, was not compatible, or created an unexpected issue, they already had another solution ready. They never made excuses. They simply found a way to get it done correctly. I am a commercial real estate developer and hotel operator in Southern California, and I will gladly ship or personally fly my computers to these brothers because that is how much I trust their work. They are my go to computer experts from the Midwest all the way to the West Coast. Whether you are an individual, a small business owner, a hotel operator, or a large company, I strongly recommend Drop Zone Computer Company. Their knowledge, honesty, professionalism, and customer service are worth every penny. These guys are the real deal, and I appreciate everything they have done for us.

In mid November of 2025, I took my laptop in for repair because it wouldn't boot up and I needed it…read morefor my upcoming finals. It took about less than a week to get it back, but they said it had a faulty NVME so I needed to pay nearly $300 for a replacement. They also verbally said Windows couldn't load but the paper they gave back clearly stated it did boot. But by the time I took it home, I tested it out myself. I inserted the "so called faulty NVME" and my laptop DID boot up. I thought I still had a battery issue because it would only boot up while it was charging. I then saw they disconnected the thin wire to the battery which directed current from the power supply. They never plugged it back in. After finding that out, I did my own diagnostics and couldn't see any issues with my NVME. I used the Windows Powershell terminal to check on the NVME's health and there were no issues what so ever. I went back to ask what exactly the issue was and what actually got my laptop to turn on, because clearly it wasn't the NVME. The man got mad and wanted me to take down any review with the return of the $100, but I refused. I will never know what they did to get my laptop to turn on again, but I do know they scammed me into believing my OS couldn't boot and I needed their NVME replacement for $300... Usually NVMEs fail early on when getting a new laptop (infant mortality rate of 3-6 months) and I've had this laptop for many years now. NVMEs don't even have anything to do with the battery so this tipped me off. They used simple NVME health tools which I replicated (they mentioned CrystalDiskInfo) and saw NOTHING wrong. They either don't know what they're doing/talking about or they're intentionally scamming. Get your laptop issues fixed else where and save your money. They are not transparent and will create issues rather than fix it. Glad they turned on my laptop at least. That's all I needed. Do your own research as well and understand what EXACTLY they're telling you.

I had an amazing experience with Dan's Computer Repair…read more He was very quick to respond, and asked me a lot of good questions to get clarity on the issue I had reached out to him about initially-my laptop wasn't charging properly. He came and picked up the laptop so he could try to diagnose the issue. Well, after testing it and looking at it, he said there was nothing wrong. And the darn thing was charging for him! Doh! He promptly dropped my laptop back the next day and wasn't going to bill me because there was no issue to repair. But, given the efforts he had put in and the driving back and forth, it didn't feel right so I gave him something to say thanks because he absolutely deserved it. AND....not sure if he gave the thing a pep talk but my laptop has been working perfectly since then. Dan is professional, communicative and timely. All things I really appreciate in anyone, especially a vendor. His initial quote on the repair costs was also very reasonable and I appreciated that he said he would let me know if it would cost more than the quote and that he would get my approval before doing any repairs. I highly recommend reaching out to Dan to for help with any hardware or software issues you may be experiencing with your tech. Hopefully I won't need to any time soon, but will do so when the time comes!
