The staff is so nice and helpful! This cafe was right next to our hotel so we were here everyday getting half off coffees with our venture x card!

I went here with some friends on Valentine's weekend for their $1 drink special where literally everything was $1! This cafe is conveniently located next to Whole Foods and there's meter parking available. I got the Caramel Macchiato and enjoyed it. They have a decent selection of drinks and pastries. The service was average. They have 4-5 tables available, but they do check vaccination cards to sit down. They don't check for quick in and out. They also have some bar seats by the window. Capital One Bank members get 50% off drinks and there's also an ATM.

I'm not what you call a coffee drinker, but chai, that's another thing. I stopped by this location of the Capital One Cafe serving Peet's Coffee by the Wholefoods in the South End to pick up a friend who was trying to be productive, and decided to pick up something for myself. 'Tis the season, and they had a pumpkin chai latte listed. So I bit. It was a sweet, tasty treat.

Passed by for the first time & found out that for the month of December they are selling any size holiday drinks for $1 (Friday-Sunday Only). I ordered a Holiday latte which was perfect for a chilly day like today. The cafe also has other bake good offerings & seating.

There are 2 arcade games in here!! Guardians of the galaxy and Ms Pac Man! As always staff are friendly. Love hanging here.

Shout-out to Kevin, the Capital One rep I worked with today who kindly helped me get in touch with the right folks to resolve what had been a game of customer service hot potato between the bank and Zelle. Super friendly and patient while I talked to the Capital One folks on his phone about my issue. We chatted while I was on hold and he hooked me up with a delicious berry tea infusion (I don't drink coffee so didn't know the other options). The Cafe seemed quiet and like a good place to work, with Peet's coffee and teas available. Use your Capital One card for half price cafe drinks. It's right outside the Assembly orange line stop, or a bit of a walk from the parking lots near the mall and Home Depot if you don't want to pay for metered parking out front. Thanks for the caring staff and again, to Kevin for patiently helping me today.

Great coffee, but I had to have a very awkward conversation with the Capital One sales rep while I was waiting in line.

Capital One Café is a unique concept, creating a comfortable place to grab a drink, get some work…read moredone, or simply take a break. We walked into a clean, modern design with plenty of seating, making it feel more spacious than a typical coffee shop. The layout is open and inviting, with a mix of tables, communal seating, and lounge areas that accommodate both quick stops and longer visits. Even if you are not visiting for banking services, it works well as a quiet place to relax or meet up with someone, and the energy of the room stays calm and focused throughout the day. The biggest perk is the discount for Capital One cardholders, which makes the drinks a much better value than many other cafés nearby. The menu includes espresso drinks, teas, refreshers, and a small selection of pastries and sandwiches. We found the coffee to be perfectly decent, but nothing that really stood out compared to Boston's specialty coffee shops. It gets the job done, especially with the discount, but it is not a destination for the coffee alone. The pastries and sandwiches are standard café fare, fine for a quick bite but not memorable. The atmosphere is one of the stronger parts of the experience. There is plenty of seating, the space is bright and well maintained, and it is a comfortable spot for studying, working, or having a casual meeting. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient, making it easy to stop in even during busier times. The seating area stays comfortable even when the café fills up, and the availability of outlets and Wi-Fi makes it practical for longer work sessions. If you have a Capital One card, the discount makes this an easy place to recommend since it offers good value in an area where coffee can be expensive. Without the discount, the drinks feel more average for the price, especially with so many excellent independent cafés nearby. The value and atmosphere are what make this café stand out more than the drinks themselves, offering a comfortable, functional stop that works well for a quick coffee break, a work session, or a meeting.

I'm sure the bank provides perfectly good service for "their…read morecustomers", but it's the "their customers" part that prompts me to write this one-star review. I used the Citizens' Bank ATM (inside the bank) in Brigham Circle and made 3 withdrawals (3 because of limitations per withdrawal). So my 5 minutes at their kiosk made them $11.50 in fees - $3.50 per withdrawal - a transaction that, to my mind, makes me a "customer". When I waited in line (for 10 minutes, while 2 tellers helped 1 customer) to ask them to change a few of the bills, I was told "no", that "those services are reserved for 'their customers'.". %&@&*% ...which meant I had to go find a merchant in Brigham Circle who was willing to make some change for me - something most merchants are not generally very willing to do. So Citizens' cost me 25m of my lunch break first waiting in line, & then looking for a place that would make change for me. While keying in a transaction at the Citizen's Bank at 1 Brigham Plaza in Boston near 5 p.m., employees eager to leave shut off power to lights inside--as well as to their ATM. My card disappeared and the ATM stayed inoperative. A teller who was in the ATM lobby watched this happen and said "not again--we need to put a sign on it." I asked her what to do, she said she'd get help, re-entered the now-locked bank with a key, then left by the back entrance. After much pounding and waving, a man standing 30 feet from the door and talking with other employees finally came to the ATM lobby. I explained the situation and he told me "if you put the card in wrong 3 times, it won't return it and we can't get in there." I told him that wasn't what had happened. He said there's nothing he could do and repeated his line about misusing the card 3 times in a row--essentially accusing me of lying. "There's nothing I can do" is how this gentleman--who claimed to be the branch manager--left it before giving me an undoubtedly fake name and locking the door. Don't use Citizen's Bank, especially this one staffed with dishonest, unhelpful people.
