    Strawberry shortcake matcha
    Michelle W.

Love the matcha drinks at Blank Street. They use ceremonial grade matcha so their drinks are a nice bright green. I tried their seasonal strawberry shortcake matcha latte and it was delicious! The strawberry sauce paired perfectly with the oat milk and matcha. Perfect amount of sweetness too. Their menu has both matcha and coffee options whether you want a classic drink or something with a twist! Prices are reasonable for the size. This location has a good amount of seating and seems to be a popular place to study/work. It's never been too crowded when I've visited and service is quick. Will definitely be back!

Blank Street Café in South Boston might just be my new happy place. From the second I walked in, I was greeted by Jackie, who instantly made me feel like a regular (even though it was my first time). I told her I'm a Matcha lover, and not only did she take that seriously--she lit up and started offering ideas. I ordered a regular Matcha latte with whole milk and six pumps of classic syrup. Pro tip: their Matcha is ceremonial grade and totally unsweetened, so you can tweak it however you like. I like mine on the sweeter side, and six pumps hit just right. Jackie also recommended I try their pistachio Matcha, and in a genuinely kind gesture, she made me one on the house just so I could compare. How sweet is that? I appreciated it so much. Between the two, the regular Matcha is more my vibe, but I love that there are so many options to play around with flavor-wise. The whole team at Blank Street had this super chill, kind energy--and I wasn't the only one who noticed. While I was there, I saw people walk in and get greeted by name, with their go-to orders already on deck. That kind of energy is rare and honestly refreshing. It feels like a spot that sees people, not just customers. I ended up staying longer than planned, just soaking it all in. If you're in the area (or even if you're not), make your way to Blank Street Café. Whether you're new or known, they'll treat you like someone worth remembering--and your drink will be delicious too.

I have really enjoyed all the drinks I've gotten at Blank Street so far! The prices here are decent as well especially for the taste of the drink. This location is perfect for working from home as well. My go-to drinks are the Strawberries & Cream Latte and the Blueberry Matcha. I tried the cherry cold brew latte today which was great as well!

This blank street location was so cute! It's in a great spot in southie. I got the blueberry matcha which I believe is a seasonal spring item, and I loved it. I was a bit suspicious because the matcha came from a syrup bottle so it was not freshly whisked to serve, but it tasted great nonetheless. The presentation is also great with the green to purple gradient. This location doesn't offer mobile order yet(?) but the in store line wasn't too long and the drink was made pretty quickly.

I love blank street so much. I'm from san diego, and every time I visit the east, specifically this location in Boston, I love it every time. I always get the White Chocolate Matcha, and it never disappoints. Amazing

We had a wonderful experience at Blank Street Cafe. The drinks were fabulous in both taste and presentation. Service was friendly and helpful. I also wish we had the time to enjoy our drinks at the store. It was a very cute and comfortable spot. Highly recommend!!

For takeout, I got a mango mousse (nicely tart), a crème brûlée kouign-amann, and a rose raspberry bowtie. Everything tasted delicious--just the right amount of sweetness, not overly sweet at all. On the second day, I ordered takeout again: an almond croissant, a rocket pop pain suisse, and the crème brûlée kouign-amann once more. Anne was polite, super friendly, and very helpful with menu recommendations. On the first day when I ordered takeout, Anne even kept the pastries chilled for me because I couldn't walk around the area carrying them in the intense heat without them spoiling before I reached the hotel. Truly the best and most helpful service!

The banana tastes nicely sweet and fresh, creamed with miso adding that hint of savory goodness and topped with caramel. The croissant was beautifully flakey, buttery. Altogether they make for a really refreshing treat, it's not too sweet, which, as we all know, is the highest form of compliment a treat can be! Upon walking in the shop I was greeted by several staff (in a graceful, friendly, not over the top way) which is lovely for a morning vibe where I'm still yet to get my caffeine fix. Just the right amount of love and jolly. I sat outside by the park/plaza to enjoy a nice morning with my coffee and this pastry. Excellent addition to the neighborhood!

I came here 4 times when in town for a conference, as this way super conveniently located to the conference center (Menino). It's open 7am-10pm daily, is always seemingly busy but always very efficient and fast to deliver orders, and has a huge amount of comfortable seating. First visit: I tried the vegan breakfast burrito ($12), a nicely designed burrito with tofu, potato, spinach, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, and mushrooms, served with salsa on the side. Very solid burrito. The Spanish burrito I tried another day--which came with vegan meatballs of some sort--was even better. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. Moreover, each time I visited, I ordered a double espresso ($3.50), which was excellent. Proper espresso, deep body, strong, served with sparkling water and a piece of dark chocolate.

I got a Spicy Greek Breakfast Wrap ($13, +$1.50 for egg white sub) and a Santorini Sunrise Yogurt Bowl ($12). The portions are gigantic and the food is fresh. The Platters, both the breakfast and mezze are gorgeous. Pictures attached. The interior has ample seating and is bright and beautiful. They also prep your food impressively quickly given how many orders they seem to get! They get BUSY but I get why - the food is so good.

First of all, the pastry case just beautifully displays all the baked goods. It's quite a sight to see! I love the variety and flavors, very unique. If you know what you want, gotta get in line and grab it quick! If you wanna put in your own order, you can use the kiosk, which is really fun to use. I ordered a chai with oat milk (it's very light in flavor) and got a bialy. Honestly I had not had a bialy in over 25+ years... and was surprised to see it in the case and I had to have it. A corn + cheddar bialy. It did NOT disappoint. I also got london fog with oat milk previously, also very nice, but this place was soooo good we had to come back. My daughter loves pop tarts so when she saw it in the case, she got a blueberry pop tart and said it was very flakey and the jam was very jamful. It was the-last-one, even had the sign stuck in it!! She also got the french toast (2 slices) with kid's milk and said it was the best french toast she's ever had. My sis got a chocolate pain suisse, which I had never seen before. It's basically brioche filled with pastry cream and chocolate. It looked delicious and with coffee, my sis ate the whole thing up. All in all, this place has so much delicious eats.. I can understand if you live here, you could come every morning and still not get to everything in the pastry case! Definitely be back if we're in the Boston area again.
