This is the CUTEST cafe in Boston! The plethora of greenery, plants, and succulent (which you can buy btw!) are beautiful and create a comforting, earthy vibe. There is also lots of seating either at a table or at the bar, and large windows creating a well lit space to get work done or enjoy a bite with your friends, allowing for that true "greenhouse" effect. Aside from how nice the decor is, I will say that it gets pretty busy at peak brunch hour. It was tough finding a table to sit and it felt like I was weaving between people just to pick up my drink from the front counter. I would recommend coming either earlier or later in the afternoon. Even with the crowd, though, the service was still quick and helpful! My food and drink came out fresh after only a few minutes of waiting. I will say, the prices are a little steep even for Boston and I'm not sure I'd come back here for anything besides their matcha. I really loved their soft scrambled eggs, their signature sauce, and their toasty croissant--the sandwich was cohesive and tasty. Though the food was great, it was also something you can find anywhere else, not making it worth the trip alone, unless you're planning to pair it with one of their delicious matchas. Being the highlight of their menu, their matcha is a large portion of creamy, high quality, and sweet matcha still with that signature earthy aftertaste. Super generous portions. I'm so shook because this sandwich is HUGE! I ordered the Big Chic sandwich and was not expecting this much food for the price. I paid about $20 for a quick WFH lunch including the sandwich and a strawberry matcha. The aioli adds a bit more flavor to the chicken sandwich. The chicken in the sandwich is not too different from some everyday chicken tenders but I'm still so surprised one sandwich came with so much. Tater tots over fries any day for me too. Love supporting Asian-owned small businesses. The service was excellent as well-- cashier offered me a small bag without charging extra even though I didn't end up needing it. Visited Green Haus Cafe on a whim, and the moment I walked in I was captivated by the lush greenery. It's beautiful and almost enchanting -- I could have spent more time admiring each plant display like pieces of living artwork. The space is small, with about 10 tables, so you may find yourself sharing close quarters with others. The menu offers hot foods, teas, and coffees. I ordered a jasmine tea and, unfortunately, it just didn't work for me. I started with four pumps of simple syrup, later adding four more, trying to mask a soapy taste that lingered throughout. I couldn't get through it and ended up tossing it -- I decided not to force myself to drink something I truly didn't enjoy. Customer service was fine -- nothing above and beyond, but also nothing unpleasant. Just... okay. This is a really cute cafe and super cozy! I love how they also sell plants inside. The workers were very friendly, and although it took a while to get our drinks, they were very apologetic about it and I also didn't think it was that big a deal! I tried both the matcha latte and boston salt coffee. WOW!! This is genuinely the best matcha I have ever had- it had the perfect amount of sweetness and the tiniest bit of saltiness in their creamy foam. I have never before been so impressed with my matcha. And the boston coffee was also great, even as someone who never orders coffee. It was a salty cheese foam on top with a deep coffee flavor in the drink. And I didn't get jittery from the caffeine at all! I am already thinking about the next time I'll come. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at Green Haus Cafe and hope to be back soon! Super cute interior design, cozy vibes, wood flooring, local art, so many plants, and they have a great menu! Even with the hustle and bustle of the cafe, there is a sense of calm here. For seating, there are some tables inside, but during peak times, those definitely get filled. If the weather is nice, there are outdoor tables on the back patio too (that have umbrellas too if there is a light rain or a lot of sun). I came here with a friend with the goal of trying the matcha, and it did not disappoint! We had friendly service, and loved learning about the recommendations or new finds in the lil plant/gift section. Our drinks took about 10 minutes with a bit of a late morning rush. We sat outside and a server even brought our drinks out when they were done, which was a pleasant surprise. I got an iced matcha and my friend got a hot matcha latte. We both loved our drinks! Well prepared, not overly sweet, and not watered down. All good things! I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu. This is a place I am excited to also be in the presence of again! Such a lovely little cafe filled with tons of beautiful plants. The whole space is tiny, so it can be difficult to find a seat on the weekends. Come early if you can. The service is amiable too, if you sit at the counter the baristas will make light conversation with you which is nice. I tried their Pistachio Latte and it was delicious. It had a pleasant pistachio flavor compared to most artificial flavorings. Their cupcake was mediocre though. I tried the strawberry one - it was a bit too dry and could've used more strawberry flavor throughout. Overall, I would definitely come back here though, the space is well thought out and adorable. read more

It is a cute little hole in the wall with succulent decors and plants for you to purchase. I've been obsessed with the strawberry matcha and it was worth getting. It is creamy in texture and the strawberry tastes real with seeds instead of chemicals like most fruit syrups. My friend got the pistachio latte and the texture was perfect, the sweetness was good, but it had a wierd bitter aftertaste that I can't I also got the strawberry cupcake, but it wasn't as good it looked. read more

I visited Green Haus Cafe on a late Monday morning for a quick bite to eat and iced coffee. First, let me say the space is gorgeous. Filled with plants, beautiful wood flooring, spacious. However, I noticed that there was literally only one person running the entire store. After placing my order, my food came out pretty promptly - I got the lox bagel. It was delicious! However, my iced coffee took about twenty minutes to be served. Definitely a staffing issue as there was a rush and once again only one person working. Highly Highly Recommend the Loaded Breakfast Sandwich here! It is customizable (you get to pick the bread and the sauce on it). I got it on a plain bagel with chipotle aoli. The scrambled eggs in the sandwich was good perfectly, very creamy and fluffy! The hashbrown in the sandwich was a great addition ad well. I also ordered an iced latte with pistachio syrup and oatmilk which was just ok, I would not get it again. The matcha lattes look good so I will try that next time! The staff was very nice and patient with me while I was deciding what to order as well! The cafe is decorated very well. Lots of plants for decoration and that you can purchase! This is a great spot to study and munch on delicious bagel! There are indoor and outdoor tables, perfect for any weather, and the interior is filled with plants, even some for sale. There are lots of people working/studying here, so it was relatively quiet for some time before the lunch rush. It didn't take too long for a table to open up, and there's usually some countertop seats available all the time. I tried their honey walnut bagel cream cheese and it was so sweet and creamy, such a perfect blend!! I also sipped on their iced jasmine tea, which wasn't too sweet and balanced out my bagel very well. Their tables are also super clean and their bathroom was fairly well maintained. The moment I walked inside Green Haus Cafe, I was impressed by the layout and the number of plants decorated throughout the store. The cafe was crowded with people on a Saturday, but they had plenty more seating in the outside patio at the back. My friends and I ordered Lychee Jasmine, Mango Matcha, Boston Coconut Coffee, and Hanoi Creme Coffee. The drinks were on the pricier side for the sizes. Unfortunately, none of the drinks were that impressive. The best was probably the Lychee Jasmine, but it is not worth the price you are paying for when there is no tea flavor in the drink. All you can taste is the lychee flavoring. The most redeeming attribute of the drink is the presence of one lychee floating around in the cup. The Mango Matcha just tasted like mango. The matcha taste was overpowered completely by it. The Boston Coconut Coffee looked the best but was overly sweet. I tasted the coconut flavoring, but the coffee was nonexistent as you only taste sweet, sweet, and sweet. This drink was left unfinished as a result. The Hanoi Creme Coffee tasted okay, but it had a similar issue as the last drink. There is barely any taste of coffee as all you can taste is sweetness which got mellowed out by the milk. I had high hopes for this cafe but ended up leaving disappointed. I will go elsewhere for better drinks. read more

We enjoyed our time here. Came for a weekend morning date. It wasn't too hard to find a spot after ordering, and the coffee and food came out quickly. My pistachio latte was wonderful, and my bf equally enjoyed his iced version. I got a bagel, which was quite soft, not the chewy texture I'm used to with a bagel. I really enjoyed the sweet strawberry cream cheese, which tasted like it was freshly made, and was tastier than any cream cheese flavor I've tasted. My bf got a breakfast burger. I am SO excited about this new spot in Mission Hill. A literal green oasis, every plant in the cafe is actually for sale. If you look closely, there are price tags to every plant piece! They do offer some bites, but their drinks really knock it out of the park. I've been loving their iced matcha with lavender (add simple syrup!!) and their jasmine tea. The tea is straight out of northern Vietnam. You have to try it for yourself, but it's LEGIT. I'm also a huge fan of their Loaded Breakfast Sandwich with the Green Haus aioli. Easily a top contender for my fav bfast sandwich in Boston. I ask for it with the croissant and it's amazing. On the sweeter side with the sauce fyi! There's WiFi and a good amount of seating, so it's a great work from home spot. The ambiance is unparalleled. There's a cozy vibe, the store isn't too loud, and it's clean. The large windows and plants are super cute, too. WiFi is pretty fast, and there are lots of students doing work there. This being said, though, I wasn't the biggest fan of the food. I got the haus chic, a fried chicken sandwich with tater tots. It looked and tasted like Tyson's frozen chicken cutlets placed on a brioche bun. The dish was quite oily, and my friend and I both didn't feel great after eating. The matcha latte was slightly better, but pretty watery. Given that this cafe is still new, hopefully the food quality will improve in the future. read more

Despite how busy it can get, I feel comfortable and focused on my work (thank you soundproof headphones). My favorites from the menu thus far are the breakfast bagel sandwich and strawberry matcha. The matcha is a great alternative for those of us who choose not to drink coffee, the strawberry puree at the bottom creates such a phenomenal balance of flavor! Not to mention, you can actually taste that it was made from strawberries and not simply a syrup. The bagel is just to my liking; not too well toasted, it has a perfect squish to it and the scrambled eggs are moist and fluffy. Just know it is a little messy to eat!
