Fantastic place to study/get work done. I needed to take a work call but had dinner plans nearby. This was the perfect solution. There was a bar where you could order coffee/drinks but I went straight for the open seating area. You do not need a capital one card here but I think you may get a discount on drinks if you do have one. Definitely will be a go to spot whenever I am in the area and need WiFi! read more

I'm sad I overheard they might be closing because I always enjoyed their coffee drinks and I always carry cash so that I can go to this location and deposit it to pay my credit card balances down and now I guess I'm no longer going to be able to do that locally. I currently from from Tujunga or Pasadena area. Think they should move to Pasadena to remain. Employees are nice as well and everytime you use your capital one card, debit or credit (you usually get a discount on drinks. I'd get a drink that costs 5$ and it would be $2-$3 for it, very helpful for me. Since these drinks at Starbucks are more (even though you can't request white chocolate or such and such). read more

The food cafe is delicious tasting. If you have capital one it is 50 percent off. The service is excellent especially by Justin who was treated my brother and I to coffee. It was the best gesture of kindness forward. Any questions they can answer for us. There is a lot of space to sit down study and plug ins for our phones , computers etc. the restrooms are clean and uses the Dyson hand drier. The ambiance is pleasant and inviting. I'm not sure how I've never known this chain to be a thing. The interior looks very modern, spacious, and plenty of chairs and tables around to do work, most with outlets. I came here right when it opened and I was able to order a breakfast sandwich and a coffee without waiting. The sandwich is a classic, with cheddar cheese, bacon, fried egg, piping hot and a great way to start the day. The latte was great too, beautiful leaf on the top with the foam, and good rich roasted taste without being too bitter. Service was great too, the servers were very helpful and got things done fast. They reminded me that paying with a capital one card gets half off on the drinks, which was a nice bonus. The only downside was my experience afterwards as I stayed inside to get my work done. It quickly got overcrowded with other people also trying to find places to sit and study. One of the customers with horrible B.O. sat nearby and I quickly had to move. Not sure why the tables at the back were reserved, and for whom, but I wasn't able to find another place to sit until way later, and that was quite the disruption to one of my most efficient days of the month. My husband works in Glendale, which is almost 30 miles from where we live. So sometimes, if we have plans out somewhere in LA, it just makes sense that I'm already out in that area instead of him coming home just for us to head back out. But where do I go to kill that much time? That's what I had to figure out every time. Until I discovered CAPITAL ONE CAFÉ. A bunch of tables to choose from, so many outlets to plug in your laptop or any other electronics. Plus, there's a coffee bar AND if you're a Capital One customer, you get 50% off when you use your Capital One card. I really enjoyed it here because there were so many areas to sit. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty busy for a weekday afternoon, but there's so much space that I found a spot right when I got there and eventually moved to a table when it opened up. You don't feel claustrophobic since areas and tables are spread out and you still have a sense of privacy and peace and quiet. I was able to get so much work done while there! read more

Came here to work as I was traveling in the area and needed a place to set up for the day. This place is great for working from home, it's not too loud and everyone around is doing their own thing. Me and my girl and coworkers stopped at Capital One Coffee for breakfast earlier this week. She kills me if I do not invite her to the Galeria and Americana. I stopped at this Capital One Cafe to deposit a check. My app wasn't working, and since I hadn't deposited a check in person in years, I felt like I was learning tech for the first time! I frequent this place whenever I am at the Americana at Brand/Glendale Galleria. While I am not a Capital One customer, I come for the coffee as I have accumulated various ways of getting complimentary beverages either by entering a contest or they are giving stuff away. If you are looking for a quiet place to chill or work, this cafe setting is the place to be. Every time I am here, I see people just using it as a lounge setting. The drink itself wasn't the best, but it also wasn't worse than average either - solid 4/5. This study location is large, and I really enjoyed the amount of space and how few decor items there were. The wooden desks, power outlets, and lighting were very relaxing to work at. The only annoyance is finding parking since it is near the Glendale area. Yay! Nice place to hang out. So, I was here plenty of times - because I am a Capital One member and 50% off on everything - who will not like that deal?? Also, not only that they have a huge place and plenty of spaces to stay but their staff is all friendly. This is a perfect place to hang out and have a meeting in groups because they have closed doors. Their coffee selection is not too complicated - very easy, so good points. I always park at the Americana parking - free for 90 minutes or you can park at Target for free, you just have to walk here - not too far, it's a good walk. The last time I was here was a Saturday night - a crowded busy night - I didn't want to say anything bad but the trash cans are horrible! Sorry... I know it's late (8 pm) but maybe at least make a little effort on the bins - the women's bathroom and all the bins inside the cafeteria are FULL, like overflowing. I am not exaggerating but it is I think the only problem I see. It lessens the high-grade quality of the place. All in all - I will come back and I hope they will take this as constructive criticism because I love the place and I totally recommend! read more

We got peet's coffee at the capital one cafe and their drinks weren't good. Don't know if it's the baristas but we tried the pumpkin latte and it was sweet but didn't taste very pumpkin-y. The matcha latte was not sweet at all.. tasted like milk with some matcha powder. Starbucks is better for both drinks It is cheap with capital one card but not good. read more

After leaving a review regarding a negative experience where the barista accused me of not paying for a drink because of her own ignorance of grabbing the wrong receipt, I got this weird childish message from someone pretending who I'm guessing it's either the barista or someone she knows cause the account has no reviews and recently made. Ngl when I read the fart on ur drink part, totally got Peter griffin doing it in megs face vibe. Lol For the record I bought 3 drinks, receipt shows 3 drinks, the barista took the wrong receipt and was too stubborn to admit her mistake even after her own co worker, the cashier produced the right receipt. Barista kept stupidly asking me to pay for my third drink even as her own cashier tells her I already did, how idiotic is that? FYI Never once did I give any attitude, that was all the barista. I just kept repeating I paid for 3 drinks which I did. So whoever this "student" is....that messaged me... lbr it's probably the barista...so fart away Maria, fart away. And FYI I forgive you. I love this place when the library closes down and you need more time to study or do whatever this is the ideal place to go although the parking is a little bit crazy and expensive if you park way over in the Glendale parking and hope it over you got a good place to get some work done. Wow! It feels good to finally find a reliable place with quick internet! I used to always think Capital One Cafes were only for Capital One cardholders, however that's not true! Capital One cardholders get 50% off the drinks at Peet's Coffee (located inside), but the cafe itself welcomes the general public. They do have staff from Capital One to answer any questions you have about their products. CAFE: This was such a great place to study, quiet and peaceful with reliable internet! This cafe is more of an open-space concept full with a variety of sofas, tables, chairs, and high counter tops with power outlets thoughtfully placed everywhere. There were also dedicated areas for studying and private meeting rooms for additional privacy, but I didn't explore that area too much. PEETS COFFEE: Again, Capital One cardholders receive 50% off drinks. -ICED VANILLA LATTE: I ordered a small and this usually comes with 2 pumps of vanilla, but I opted for 1 because I don't like things overly sweet. It was good, but I still found it to be very sweet. -ICED GREEN TEA TROPICAL: I found this very refreshing! This green tea smells amazing and you can taste a slight tropical flavor without it being sweet. This drink is definitely not sweet at all (no added sugars).
