Sure, the location isn't ideal for natives, but it's perfect for tourists. Inside is clean and quiet. Some days, it's almost filled; other days, it's not. People come and go fairly quickly, so I've always managed to get a seat. Their signature drink - Honey Lavender Latte $7 - iced, is my go-to order. It's a delicious sweet, cold treat that perks me up. I've been here enough times on Mondays for a few employees to recognize me, especially the friendly guy who unlocks the sparkling restroom. I wish the Capitol One Cafes were in quieter areas that locals frequent instead of near one of the craziest corners - Highland and Hollywood Blvd. - in town, where it can be a challenge to park unless you have a secret hack. Excellent service from the barista, and the coffee is really good. I had an iced lavender honey latte and when you use any Capitol One card it's 50% off! In this economy I'm taking advantage. The trippy thing is it's a bank with no bankers. Or maybe it's a bank branded coffee shop collab with Verve coffee, which is cool but also kind of a weird vibe tbh. And they have bankers hours so if you want to just hang out like you normally do at every other coffee shop then you'll have to do it before 6pm. read more

I have never had a bad experience whether I had a question regarding my account, cashing checks, deposits, using their ATM services or any other financial needs that I had/have. Today, around 3:15 pm, I walked into this beautiful institution to make a payment in person. The guy at the teller stand was cordial, prompt, helpful and professional. Since it was a pretty hot day, I decided to get myself a cold Iced Coffee with Oat milk and a snack. Keep in mind, if you are a Capital Card member, your coffee/snacks is half off. That's Great!! It is in the heart of Hollywood that I love and adore so much. The guy who rang me up at Verve Coffee Roasters was also quick, friendly with a nice smile. Outside parking, restrooms, and both the bank, and the coffee shop was nice and clean. What more can one ask for?? Killing 2 birds with one stone! What's in your wallet? Who doesn't love a good Capital One Cafe for an afternoon pick-me-up, lounge spot, or work break? This location isn't the easiest to find, and it's probably not one to casually hangout at unless you're already in Hollywood. They do provide 2-hour validation and of course have Wi-Fi, though! (Note that power outlets may be a bit limited, though, if you want to work here.) I had an oat latte during this visit, and it was amazing as usual. One of my favorite parts of Capital One Cafe is how consistent all their drinks are. The staff are also friendly, and staff are around to answer any questions about Capital One, too. I came here a few days ago when I was in the area and needed some caffeine badly! I love the Capital One Cafes because they offer a lovely ambiance and have consistently great customer service, from the ambassadors to the baristas! Their coffee is also top notch and they are always offering fun seasonal drinks! Also, if you have a capital one card, you get your drink half off! Also, they occasionally offer free drink coupons on their social media pages! When I arrived, I was greeted by the ambassador and headed to order my beloved seasonal chocolate covered cherry mocha drink with oat milk. I had just gotten a new card sent to me and thought it had activated in the app, but unfortunately it declined. The barista was so nice and accommodating and offered it to me on the house, while I headed over to an ambassador to help me get it sorted out. The lovely ambassador who greeted me earlier was so kind to assist me and guided me through the activation process, even showing me how to use it in their ATM to ensure it was indeed activated! She also told me about the financial programs they're offering on Thursdays! By the time she was finished helping me, my drink was ready! I grabbed my drink and headed to one of the comfy chairs! I relaxed and enjoyed the indulgent mocha drink which was so well balanced and perfectly frothed and creamy. It really invigorated me and made me feel great the rest of the day. I highly recommend this drink while it's being offered and wish it would become a regular staple! I also was surprised there was ample seating on a weekday morning, as it's located in the heart of one of the busiest, most touristy parts of LA! Near the Ovation Hollywood - Shopping Center, Hard Rock Cafe, Mel's Drive-In, Hollywood Wax Museum, and numerous other infamous city staples along Hollywood & Highland Blvd... Including the Metro B/Red Line which is meer footsteps from the entrance to this trendy C.O. Cafe. Capital One is my number one, my preferred bank for years and credit card company #ChargeIt I'm grateful I can pop in to use the atm if need be (other than Target), work remotely, cool off from the heat in their perfect room temp cool AC spaces, enjoy treats, eats or my go to Iced Coffee with Oat Milk like I did recently (see pic proof above lol). They have amazing baristas courtesy their partnership with Verve Coffee Roasters, Capital One reps at your convenience and amazing security on duty. With many banks and branches downsizing over the last few years and implementing mobile/digital services including check scanning it's refreshing that this space feels more relaxed, yet still like a place you can organize your bank finances especially with free Wi-Fi. I've been to the Cafe/Capital One combo at the Americana and do enjoy it there, but this place almost feels like a slight hidden gem, blended in with so many other great businesses, street vendors and all things Walk of Fame. Cap-one card in hand I entered. I have had tougher times using a McD's or Strbks restroom but I was on Hollywood Blvd Pride parade day none-the-less. Without showing any of my Cap1 Cards, 2 humans said Hi and welcome. I did order a drip on my second visit because it was Pete's but I didnt linger. Order up! the coffee is good- use the correct card if you have it but that wasn't conditional of using the perfect restrooms. My first Capital One Cafe experience was PERFECT. I heard about the exciting MLB rewards offer with Capitol One cafe & was so excited to visit the location for the first time & get my free coffee after I finished running errands. I also have a Discover card so I was excited to chat quickly about the transition & hear more about Capitol One. When I walked in, I was approached by an employee with a rude attitude from the start who didn't say hello or greet me but instead just asked if I was there for the MLB rewards offer. I was excited & answered yes & was about to ask where to get in line to which he said they were no longer accepting the rewards for that day & that I was too late. They are only honoring the reward once every Monday, meaning I would have had to wait until the following Monday to get my coffee. I was really disappointed as I got there at 5:35pm with more than enough time before they closed & asked how I was supposed to know about that rule when the store is still open. He replied they would let it go just this one time & rolled his eyes. After being embarrassed from that situation I was met with a barista who was more than happy to walk me through the menu to make sure I got the drink I had wanted. I also wanted to confirm & asked the barista if I had to be there any time prior to use my reward to which he said it doesn't matter. Overall, I would really like the communication & welcoming environment to be greatly improved at this location, employees can't just make up their own rules just to deter customers from entering before closing when it wasn't listed anywhere on the reward. I was out of the cafe with more than enough time before it even closed. The employee was a male with tan skin, glasses, dark hair in a man bun. The girls on duty at that time were very nice, but they wanted to chit chat with the other employees that were there for a meeting. I ended up waiting for 15 mins for a latte that should've taken 5 mins max. I didn't rush them, I didn't complain. If it had not been for another customer letting them know that he had the wrong drink, I never would've known that they had given my drink to the wrong person.
