For anyone planning to hit Capitol Reef soon, I wanted to shout out this beautiful brand new RV resort!!! It's run by a lovely young family whose dad raises grass-fed beef locally. Today we purchased a Rib-Eye, some ground beef & some beef sausage. We cannot wait to eat it all! (They carry the beef in their adorable camp store/ clubhouse.) Clubhouse has a microwave available and some supplies & gift shop items. They also have a lovely patio with comfy furniture looking out to GORGEOUS views. There are incredible views on 3 sides with a small dog park on the 4th. Theyre trying to get a feel for what folks would like to purchase. They have some A-frame Glamping pods with cushy beds, adirondack chairs & fire-rings with gorgeous views out the picture windows. The bath facilities are spotless & modern. Jon Burrell calls them "boujie". They have a small coin operated laundry with 2 washers & 2 dryers. The laundry is open all night. We've really enjoyed our stay here! Moving on tomorrow! Here's their website if youre planning to visit sometime soon: https://visitcapitolreef.com Would stay again! @capitolreefrvresortandglamping -- at Capitol Reef RV Park and Glamping A-frames.

From the moment we pulled in, we were warmly welcomed by Leslie, the kindest and most thoughtful hostess we've ever met. She truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel seen, supported, and at home. Her presence alone makes this park exceptional. The park itself is beautifully maintained--clean, quiet, and perfectly laid out for both comfort and community. Whether you're staying for a night or a week, you'll find peace and care in every corner of the space. The views alone are worth the stop. Traveling as a family, it meant the world to be in a place that felt safe, personal, and genuinely welcoming. Leslie was friendly and always there with a smile, helpful tips, and really made my kids feel like they were just as important as everyone else in the park. If you're reading this and considering a stay, don't hesitate. Sand Creek RV Park is a gem, and Leslie is the heart that makes it shine. We're incredibly grateful for the experience and already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Leslie, for everything!

She pulled out a map and showed me exactly where they were. They're not Superchargers. They're the regular home style Tesla chargers, but they also have the other connector I needed for my Cadillac SUV, so it worked out perfectly. I drove over, plugged in, scanned the QR code on the side of the charger, and it turned on right away. The Tesla app handled everything without any issues. The charging speed is what you'd expect from a home charger, but for an overnight stay it's totally fine. They're completely okay with people leaving their cars there overnight. Just lock it and let it charge. It's a little pricey, but when you look at the fact that there are basically no other charging options for 85 to 100 miles, it's actually a solid option. If you're passing through Torrey with an EV, this place makes things a lot easier.

We had to scramble after our reservations at Cathedral Valley Inn was canceled 11th hour due to an unforeseen issue. We were able to book here, in their "panoramic cabin" easily and they are big dog friendly. Our cabin spot was awesome with a beautiful view. The cabin was very comfortable (pillows need upgrading/change out) and clean. It came with a little kitchenette which was nice. They do serve coffee and what looked like store donuts as continental breakfast which we passed on.

Power is steady at 120VAC and water pressure is 60# at the hydrant. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The sites are level and big rig friendly pull thrus that are topped with crushed stone so no mud or dust to contend with. The sites are wide and set apart from your neighbor with lava rock outlined with stones. There are back-in sites but they appear to be occupied by extended stay guests. The park backs up to RT 24 but there is very little traffic noise. Chances are when you arrive there will be no one here. You simply call the park phone and you will be assigned a site. The office and showers are finished, in fact the owner was on his hands and knees finishing the grout work this week. The park owner indicated that the next project was to add Kamp Kabins to the park. This park is in an ideal location to visit both Capital Reef NP and Escalante NM. If you locate Escalante NM on the map, it's about 40 miles away, but you'll drive through some of the most beautify scenery in the US. If you want a high-quality park without the traffic and noise that is common with parks closer to the venue, this is it. After you finish the park and monument, take a drive around Fish Lake. It's a 30-mile trip round the lakes and reservoirs. The scenery is stunning. There wasn't much info available online, so hopefully this will help someone who might be interested in booking this site. Tiny house: * Queen size bed with bedding included. * Bathroom/shower is outside in the community space-not in the house itself. * TV with streaming services easy to use * Mini fridge and AC unit inside. * There are two folding camp chairs as well as towels and wash cloths. Overall park: * WiFi was pretty darn good and reached all around the park * Bathrooms were very clean * Showers on a ten minute timer. It was enough time, but still felt a little rushed hearing the countdown beeping at you. * Absolutely no shade-come prepared for that. * Basketball hoop and small fenced in dog area at the back corner.

We would have been so grateful for just bare bones accommodations, but what we found was so much more awesome! Lynn was so welcoming and extremely helpful with places to eat, etc. The cabin had everything you could need and was clean and secure and also just a darling experience. The whole place is so gosh dang cute. Bed was comfy and clean. Fire pit outside is an awesome addition even though we couldn't use it due to fire restrictions. Free drip coffee in the morning was so good that I didn't even want a latte - though they do have a full service espresso bar available on site! You'll also find cute postcards, tumbled rocks, maps of the area, local geological facts and stuff. You can hang out in the reception/coffee area, which had seating and outlets. They have laundry downstairs (we didn't check it out though). And the whole property has free wifi! There are SO many amenities here for dogs as well!! I wish we had ours, but they hate going on the road, so we didn't get to take advantage of the dog park, wash station, or in-room pet blankets. On top of their cabins/casita, they also have tent sites and RV and van sites. One of the absolute best stops we've ever made on the road! Don't forget to hang out with Debbie (meow).

An added bonus was having not one, but two food trucks on site, as well as a coffeehouse in the lobby. Our cabin was very comfortable too. Highly recommend!
