We had a DELICIOUS dinner at Cappelletti's in Brockport. I was too busy enjoying the company and food to take photos, but here's my demolished dessert plate. (The best cannoli I've ever tasted) What looks like part of the china design is actually an intricate chocolate stencil! I love this place, my dish was fantastic Flank steak with Mushroom Marcella. The steak was delicious and very tender. Our server Bella was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and sweet! I give her an A++++!! The one drawback was they had live music , with the high ceilings it was kinda hard to hear each other, but the food made up for that! A very comfortable restaurant space with outdoor seating as well. We went here on a Friday night for our anniversary. The service was outstanding, we were lucky enough to be served by Becky. She was very attentive and made us feel special. Great place for large groups, the atmosphere was good and quiet enough so you could carry on a conversation. Plenty of parking and accommodations for handicapped individuals. Prices were reasonable. I had the Lobster ravioli and my wife had the eggplant lasagna, both were very tasty. Cappelletti's was the chosen restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner. We were quite late in making reservations. They luckily had an opening at 7pm, so we got there and checked in with the waitress. We sat at the bar for a few minutes and then we were seated at a little table in the corner with a view of the outdoor fireplace which was lit. It was a quaint place and I rather enjoyed it. Our waitress came to the table quickly we already had drinks so she brought the bread & butter and olive oil over and we asked for a few minutes to decide what we were going to eat. The waitress came back a few minutes later and we put our orders in. I ordered the cauliflower steak which came with the whipped garlic mashed potatoes they were delicious and the cauliflower steak was good too. No complaints from me on my meal I ate everything which is generally not the car so for me the food portions were just perfect. And my significant white the chicken, whipped mashed potatoes and mixed veggies thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. And then we had Chocolate Mousse for dessert very good and It also turns out that while we were talking to the waitress my significant other and the waitress are distant cousins. Quite the coincidence, but anyway all was good at Cappelletti's. read more

It's not the best Italian restaurant by any means, but for the area it's not bad. I will say, the location is a little weird as it's in the same building as a nursing home/assisted living. read more

I was really looking forward to trying this place out because the reviews are so good. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The red sauce was ok, for me it had too much oregano, but that is just personal preference. The big disappointment to me was the chicken French. I'm not even sure how it can be called Chicken French. There is no cornstarch in Chicken French, and that is what the sauce seemed to be made with. It was thick, kind of like a runny gravy, almost slimy. Maybe that's how some people like it, I mean the place has great reviews and people have said they love it. I can only imagine those people have never had real Chicken French. The bread was very good, and the people were friendly. I think if I lived there (it's inside an apartment complex) I'd be glad it was there, but I doubt I'll be back. read more

I love Calamari fried or grilled, and Cappelleti's hsve some of the best Calamari and Lobster Ravioli ever. They are pricey folks, so please do not forget your wallets of credit cards. But they are damn worth it. We had dinner here last summer, and i was impressed. Nice casual kind of upscale family type of place that made us feel welcomed here. Nice waiter helped us out. Ravioli and Calamari are slamming good. I will be back again for more. read more

The restaurant is tucked inside a senior living community-Chateau at Heritage Square--which itself is located off Redman Rd, near SUNY Brockport. Had Dinner with my lovely Wife. Started off with a lemonade spritz-refreshing, followed by fried calamari. It was cooked just right. Light breading with a bit of crunch..not at all oily. My wife had the chicken parm over angel hair. The portion is huge (1/2 went home with us) . Delicious I had the lasagna--it was the best I've had in town..even better than the lasagna from the Northside Inn in E. Rochester. The noodles are made from scratch and had the right amount of bite (not at all mushy) and was layered with Ricotta, Mozzarella, meat and just the right amount of sauce. The strawberry shortcake is a nice finish to the meal. read more

First time trying out this restaurant with a group of 10 of us. You walk into a senior living center to get to the restaurant which is weird. Nice bar area that is separate from the main dining room. Nice large room. They seated us at 2 round tables which made it hard to communicate with other people at other end plus someone will have back to you. Our waitress I felt was new at serving by her etiquette. She never brought water to all of us and just a few. She don't know who ordered what so she announced the plate. She passed the plates in front of the person place rather than go behind them. Now let's talk the food. Prices are a bit high for the quantity and quality that you are getting. I ordered French onion soup which had little taste. The entree was fettuccine Alfredo which again very bland. My friend order salmon with asparagus and it was dry and asparagus was tiny and wilted. Our server never asked if we wanted dessert and had to ask another server for refills as she disappeared. Not sure I will be back as I don't think the food is worth the price. read more

First time at this restaurant. Pleasantly surprised. The service was great. Friendly and helpful waitress. The food was awesome. My husband had the scallops and I had chicken with artichokes,capers and linguine. Left with a dessert to go. Chocolate mousse cake, which was awesome. Will be going back. read more

The food is excellent however service was a bit slow and the ambiance leaves you wanting to leave the place before your food comes. They have a piano in the same room as the dining room. Which is more like a cafeteria with 40 ft ceilings. The piano was so loud we could not talk to each other when we were sitting side by side. It's almost like eating in the cafeteria and the high school. Except the noise ruined the whole dinner. read more

Finally Brockport has a very nice place to enjoy a good dinner and conversation without having to watch TV. The menu is varied and a pleasant change from the usual bar food one finds around town. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and the friendly staff. Our only concern is that all the entrees automatically come with cheese, even the pasta with clam sauce and presumably other seafood. Hence the 4 stars. We feel that this should be an option or specifically mentioned in the menu. The server promptly corrected our dishes with a minimum of fuss and we were satisfied with the taste and service. We're looking forward to return and perhaps eat on the patio on a nice warm evening. read more

If I was basing this just on the drinks, it would be 5 star, but the food itself brought it down. The bartender is super personable & makes fantastic drinks! The appetizers, Mozzarella Moons: fantastic! Calamari: cooked well, but seemed like we got the end of a frozen bag as there were scantly spread out pieces and crumbled batter amongst greens & parmesan flakes. Salads were nice and let's face it where else can you add a side salad for $1.50?! However, while the mains looked amazing, the lasagna was inedible in my opinion. Then again, I only had two bites as each I noticed a terrible mouth feel. It appeared to be large onion pieces..I'm talking, thin, semi translucent, hard to chew pieces of what looked like blooming onion chunks without the batter. The waitress came to ask how everything was, to which I enquired about the possibility of onions being present (nowhere mentioned in menu description).. I showed her what I had found and she said she'd ask the chef, to which I was told replied "it's only in the sauce." The steak trio, which was a special would have been absolutely delicious had it been cooked medium as asked or even medium rare..it came out rare, but my S/O choked it down anyways, because he didn't want to complain as I already wasn't eating my meal. Ravioli were ok, the filling didn't have much flavor and relied on the sauce to carry. I definitely would have been more impressed if they either offered a substitute for my main or even just offered more bread since I wasn't eating my actual meal, but no such offer was made, nor was it taken off the bill. I'm not saying you shouldn't try it, we went based on a great review. I'm just saying, I'd stay away from the lasagna unless you're into what I described & maybe go one step over what you'd normally order for your steak's doneness. Seems like they'd rather undercook then overcook which I can understand, but who really wants to send their food back to be corrected? read more

New Years Eve dinner. Pricy but food was excellent. Loved my steak dish. Was told in advance both menus were available but not the case. Just wanted to try that pork chop. Waitress was very good. It was nice to eat at a place that is low key, clean and no loudness. Bar area needs something more than what it is, very plain, small and not appealing to stay in. I took my mom here for her birthday breakfast. The service quality, and ambience were all impeccable. (We were seated by the window that overlooked the scenic outdoor fireplace). The atmosphere was extremely enjoyable!! My mother was so happy with her meal selection, our waitress Kirsten, and the music selection playing in the background. She was on cloud 9. Before we left we made sure to make reservations for lunch that same day. Highly recommend!! Everyone in the area needs to know about this place!! We love going to Cappeletti's! The food is always top notch. I love to try the specials. The latest was Scallops Buccatini Carbonata. So good! The servers are attentive and polite. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. We haven't eaten out on the patio yet but love the view it offers. We feel pampered when we come here. read more
