Cauliflower steak & whipped garlic mashed potatoes
    Penny L.

Cappelletti's was the chosen restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner. We were quite late in making reservations. They luckily had an opening at 7pm, so we got there and checked in with the waitress. We sat at the bar for a few minutes and then we were seated at a little table in the corner with a view of the outdoor fireplace which was lit. It was a quaint place and I rather enjoyed it. Our waitress came to the table quickly we already had drinks so she brought the bread & butter and olive oil over and we asked for a few minutes to decide what we were going to eat. The waitress came back a few minutes later and we put our orders in. I ordered the cauliflower steak which came with the whipped garlic mashed potatoes they were delicious and the cauliflower steak was good too. No complaints from me on my meal I ate everything which is generally not the car so for me the food portions were just perfect. And my significant white the chicken, whipped mashed potatoes and mixed veggies thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. And then we had Chocolate Mousse for dessert very good and It also turns out that while we were talking to the waitress my significant other and the waitress are distant cousins. Quite the coincidence, but anyway all was good at Cappelletti's.

It's not the best Italian restaurant by any means, but for the area it's not bad. I will say, the location is a little weird as it's in the same building as a nursing home/assisted living.

First time trying out this restaurant with a group of 10 of us. You walk into a senior living center to get to the restaurant which is weird. Nice bar area that is separate from the main dining room. Nice large room. They seated us at 2 round tables which made it hard to communicate with other people at other end plus someone will have back to you. Our waitress I felt was new at serving by her etiquette. She never brought water to all of us and just a few. She don't know who ordered what so she announced the plate. She passed the plates in front of the person place rather than go behind them. Now let's talk the food. Prices are a bit high for the quantity and quality that you are getting. I ordered French onion soup which had little taste. The entree was fettuccine Alfredo which again very bland. My friend order salmon with asparagus and it was dry and asparagus was tiny and wilted. Our server never asked if we wanted dessert and had to ask another server for refills as she disappeared. Not sure I will be back as I don't think the food is worth the price.

This was a cute tucked away place with decent parking on the water. There were not a lot of people so parking was adequate. It is very open and immediately I enjoyed the ambience. It had a modern cabin in the lake vibe, sans fireplace, with a good laid back music that was loud enough to enjoy but not a conversation crusher. It was too cold to sit outside so I didn't get to enjoy that. The beer had quite the variety including sours, ales, porters, and IPA. They tried some bold flavors and overall I didn't dislike anything, the chocolate cake porter and beard full of sprinkles top 2. Bartender was very friendly and not in your face. My reason for not 5 star was the menu. I didn't try the food to be honest. It was very basic fried pub food which looked decent, but I've started to appreciate the breweries who really crush the food aspect with local flavors or food variety. Speaking of local though the incorporation of abbots custard into their beer made me enjoy their cream ale (not a fan of cream ales in general)

It gave them more deck and indoor space as well as a spot for boats to dock as they motor down the canal. This review doesn't include the food. We stopped here just for a couple of drinks with our God son and his wife up from NC . We each had a couple of beers and everyone seemed very satisfied with their choices. We sat out on the deck which runs along the canal. It has ample room and contains several tables that accommodate seating for four. Nice atmosphere sitting there watching the boat traffic go by and the main street bridge go up and down. They have several tables inside if the weather isn't cooperating to sit outside. Our server was friendly and made sure we were properly taken care of. The menu looked interesting therefore we will come back and try having a lunch or dinner in the future.

No table service, which is clear from the sign at the bar! Ordered a couple of sandwiches, tasted some beers before picking ones, got our bicycle water bottles refilled. Really friendly service. Sandwiches are large, even the half size. The balboa is tasty, even if the roast beef is not rare once it's been grilled. And the wet poor fries were good. Cole slaw was a bit plain, could have used some lemon. Inside it's a typical bar, narrow, dark, with a row of booths. Outside we had a nice breeze. Twenty or so beers on tap. Nice variety. I ordered the pasta and shrimp special, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, my daughter is vegetarian and ordered the Gnocchi Rossi, which was quite disappointing. It lacked flavor and was very bland compared to my meal. The biggest downside of our visit was the service. We were trying to enjoy some quality mother-daughter time together, but our waitress interrupted us constantly--almost every time we took a bite. We repeatedly assured her that everything was fine, yet she continued coming back to the table. At one point, while we were still actively eating, she asked if we were ready for boxes. When I said no, she replied, "Oh, okay, you're just taking your time." It definitely felt like we were being rushed rather than encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal. To top it off, we were never offered dessert or after-meal options. Despite feeling a bit rushed and annoyed by the constant interruptions, we still left a good tip because the waitress was working hard and remained polite. Overall, the food was a mixed experience, the atmosphere was wonderful, but the service made what should have been a relaxing mother-daughter lunch feel hurried.
