    Ruben sandwich

I stopped in here today while out on my bike ride. I was pleasantly surprised. They have an awesome tap beer list and the Ruben was fantastic. I will be going back again. The service was a little slow as they were short handed. However the wait is worth it.

So good we came back for seconds! Fresh not greasy fried fish. Wife got the old fashioned Balboa. We both remarked how good it was and so glad we made the return trip for more. Meghan was once again there to take care of us!

What a pleasant surprise. Our in the area for work meetings, Found Barbors on yelp Ave what a great buffet for lunch. Plus a reasonable cost.

With cash the bartender stated my total was $60.32

Food was ok, but the bartender lies about your total. If you pay with card it's more, but if you pay cash she still charges you the credit card amount. When I asked for my receipt she had that deer in the headlights look and stimbled with words. That is when i knew i was being ripped off. I have my receipt and it clearly states the cash and credit card price. I was told $60.32, handed her 3-20's and a single. I would have tipped her 20% but she lied.

Barber's Grill & Tap Room has been on our must try list for a while because it smells so great every time my son and I come to visit the retro gaming store in Brockport. It did not disappoint. We sat at the sidewalk tables and had the Texas BBQ Bacon Burger which had some killer sauce. Fried Mac & Cheese appetizer was also great. While not fancy (hey, it's not supposed to be!), it is absolutely delicious comfort food and worth your stop. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Ordered the fish fry which was large and crispy n not soggy inside. The fries were hot n standard same with the slaw except cold n standard. On the table was also a chicken sandwich ordered with nothing on it but it came with toppings. Mozzarella sticks were pretty standard too. But definitely recommend the fish fry.

If you are looking for a local hole in the wall with great food, look no farther. Ordered take out as bar is not open yet due to covid-19. The portions are huge. We got the original balboa and poutine balboa. It was delicious. They make homemade chips too. Friendly service.

Great time with these three plus Laur

This was a cute tucked away place with decent parking on the water. There were not a lot of people so parking was adequate. It is very open and immediately I enjoyed the ambience. It had a modern cabin in the lake vibe, sans fireplace, with a good laid back music that was loud enough to enjoy but not a conversation crusher. It was too cold to sit outside so I didn't get to enjoy that. The beer had quite the variety including sours, ales, porters, and IPA. They tried some bold flavors and overall I didn't dislike anything, the chocolate cake porter and beard full of sprinkles top 2. Bartender was very friendly and not in your face. My reason for not 5 star was the menu. I didn't try the food to be honest. It was very basic fried pub food which looked decent, but I've started to appreciate the breweries who really crush the food aspect with local flavors or food variety. Speaking of local though the incorporation of abbots custard into their beer made me enjoy their cream ale (not a fan of cream ales in general)

It gave them more deck and indoor space as well as a spot for boats to dock as they motor down the canal. This review doesn't include the food. We stopped here just for a couple of drinks with our God son and his wife up from NC . We each had a couple of beers and everyone seemed very satisfied with their choices. We sat out on the deck which runs along the canal. It has ample room and contains several tables that accommodate seating for four. Nice atmosphere sitting there watching the boat traffic go by and the main street bridge go up and down. They have several tables inside if the weather isn't cooperating to sit outside. Our server was friendly and made sure we were properly taken care of. The menu looked interesting therefore we will come back and try having a lunch or dinner in the future.

We ordered our wings Garlic Romano and they brought up Sriracha Asiago garlic wings........HOT! The waitress was apologizing and ordered the right wings. The wings were the best I had. The service was very slow and the waitress forgot 2 of our orders that we placed so it took a long time and we couldn't eat together. I ordered a burger medium and it was well done. I asked for mustard and ketchup and I ate half of my burger before she brought it and had to remind her again.
