I've been coming for a couple of months now, but my earlier experience is making me consider finding a new barber. Credit where credit is due, Wisam does a fantastic job! Loved all of his cuts. However, I feel like this place does not respect their client's time. I've only had a handful of appointments begin on time. Today I showed up 10 minutes prior to my appointment to ensure I'd be in and out, and there were quite a few walk-ins waiting. I was asked if I had an appointment, which I confirmed. I was then asked if they could take a walk-in "real quick," which turned into my not getting my haircut until 40 minutes later. I work from home, so I ended up being extremely late to a meeting. I schedule my appointments to ensure they're taken during the only hour for myself during the day, but today it started affecting my professional life so I'll likely have to find a new place that will respect an appointment and begin them on time. read more

So I saw this place on Nextdoor and decided to give it a try. First of all I didn't have an appointment, I was hoping and praying they had time for a late walk in. Guess what folks ... they did. Let me start by saying how great the place looks inside and how welcoming they are!!!! I asked for a weird request on my hair and the owner just went with my idea and made it better!!! I explained to Mr. Sam my son's conditions that causes him to move constantly(SPD) and he was very understanding. I made an appt online after meeting the owner Gus last weekend. I've been wanting to get a straight razor cut and shave for quite some time but haven't found a good place to get it done. Great men's barber. Call for an appointment and you'll be glad you did. I didn't have an appointment but lucky for me someone was done early and another case in early allowing me to be fit in. Josh, the owner/manager/barber, did a great job giving me a new haircut for starting a new corporate job. He sized me up, listened to what I was looking for, and then with a little blind faith I let him do what he thought I was looking for. He nailed it. So glad I tried this place out. As you can see, my haircut is a little easier than some...easier enough that I often just buzz it myself. While I was buzzing away this weekend, my clippers decided to die on me with a nice patch on the back of my head still left to trim. Today is my B-day, so heading out to dinner and wanted to certainly look better than I was this morning, I googled barber and Leander and Cappelliera's came up. I was able to make an appointment with Josh today, he shaved my head for me and got that all fixed up, and he trimmed my facial hair/razor shaved my neck and face. He did a great job, knew exactly what I wanted, confirmed he understood what I wanted and then got to work. Can't go wrong with this barber shop! These folks are legit. I recommend booking online with 'Trust' - he's one of the owners and he's the bomb. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and all that was missing was a warm fireplace and a glass of fine wine. Walked in feeling my same ol regular self which I love tremendously, but walked out ready for the red carpet! You can never love yourself enough especially during the hard times. Constance Middleton at Cappelliera's is the BOMB! If you ever need help with hair coloring she's the lady to see! My hair has been this stubborn red color for several years and after life and two babies, it stopped holding the color leaving my head looking like a muddy three toned mess. She took on the challenge and helped give my hair dimension and eliminated the horizontal three toned striping that previously existed. Took my husband in to get a side taper fade which he is very picky about people doing his hair and he surprisingly loved it. Luckily don't have to drive half and hour for hair cuts anymore. Yay! I've been going to Capps for about a year now, Wisin has been my main barber and has not disappointed! He even thought me how to style my hair which has redefined my hairstyle! It seems he has been getting busier since I can't seem to book him anymore. I took a chance with Champ last month. Let me tell you I was not disappointed! He gave me a near perfect fade with no harsh lines and Although he didn't style my hair, he edged up the front and back very very clean! So clean that I'm going to him again today. Called for a same day appointment and was able to get back to back for a 3 of my boys! I was happy to hear that they could do a retro cut. The "pomp" as my family is all retro! At first I was leery cause a lot say they can do it, and I have left almost in tears over my boys' cuts! Our barber was Wisam and he was nothing short of AMAZING! He was patient, kind, and listened to what we wanted!! He understood our needs and met them!! They offered beer for my husband and water for the kiddos! Brought my 2 boys in for haircuts and saw Erika. She was friendly and kind and chatted up the kids while she was cutting their hair. She listened to what they wanted and checked in with me to make sure it was okay. She was very patient and understanding when my son with autism was extra squirmy and having a hard time, as haircuts are so hard for him. She worked hard to make him comfortable and distract him while working quickly. Their haircuts turned out great and they loved going to a place that was for "boys only".
