    karaoke on Fridays

I'm boujee, so this isn't a place I'd normally frequent, but I found myself at Capri celebrating a friend's birthday. 5 stars for the lovely blonde bartender with an exceptional pour and 3 stars for the divey atmosphere. No table service available so we waited at the bar forever to get drinks. Billiard tables, karaoke on Fridays, TVs playing college football and the Dodgers, and plenty of parking! We only had chicken wings, and they were decent, so I can't fairly comment on the food.

Went here because I was craving onion rings. They have really good onions rings with ranch and they were a great price. Staff was extremely friendly. I had a headache and the lights were low even though it's was 9:30 am. I enjoyed my onion rings, being inside during the rain and a nice ambiance. Will be back

Cool spot just wish the owner cared more. Has two diamond tables that aren't taking care of. Things are mismanaged with the employees. Customers can feel a sense of chaos at times with how the place is ran.

Absolutely great experience here at Capri Bar & Grill. The moment I arrived was very welcoming, and the energy level was to the roof. The vibe was definitely there the second you walk in. From Live DJ by Dana to the pool table, man, this place was lit! Thank you, Dana, for the invitation to this exciting establishment. Couldn't miss the opportunity. Besides the great vibes and decorations of this place, let's talk about the food and drinks. I started off with Food: 1. Wings(Buffalo)- Served with carrots & and celery. 2. Grilled Calamari Skewers. 3. BBQ Pork Riblets. Drink: 1. Michelada Cocktail /w Modelo x4. The food was delicious, and the presentation is on point. The wings were perfectly sauce. The BBQ Pork Riblets was juicy and tender. The Grill Calamari was freshly grill and man, was so mouth watering. Wish I could have try many more food but the night was still young. Always next time. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

You get wall to wall TV screens showing all the current sporting events. There are pool tables in the front and back of the place. There is a full bar and lots of great beer offerings. My friend and I got a Fat Tire and a Snakebite. Borh were served in large glasses and really hit the spot. We got a few different appetizers. The loaded tots were crispy with lots of bacon and green onions. The mozzarella triangles had great cheese pull and really tasty marinara sauce. The buffalo wings were large and moist. Pretty much the best wings I have had in a long time. We also split the pastrami burger. A good size burger with a tender patty and thick cuts of pastrami. The double battered fries wete also great. We also had to get a meat lover's pizza. Such great flavor and loved the toppings, especially the sausage. We finished with Shirley Temple's. Perfectly made and the perfect way to end a really great meal. If you are looking for a great place to catch the game, shoot some pool or just get some great food and drinks then look no further than Danny K's Billiards & Sports Bar in Orange, CA.

I was waiting for my partner to get off work around the Tustin area and needed somewhere to kill…read moresome time. The Bills game was on, so naturally I figured: cold beer, football, maybe some food. Pulled up Yelp and Swinging Door Saloon popped up second on the list. Now, I have a terrible habit of reading the 1- and 2-star reviews first. That's where the entertainment is. Most of the complaints were about the service--bartenders supposedly only paying attention to regulars, people having to wave them down, etc. Alright. Let's see what we're working with. Got there around 4:30 and the bar top was completely full. I ordered a Coors Banquet on draft, but they were out, so bottle it was. Paid with a $50. Bartender hands me back $45... conveniently in big and medium bills. Ma'am. I see what we're doing here. Cute blonde bartender, cold Banquet, and a $5 bill conveniently sitting there waiting to become a tip. Maybe 21-year-old me falls for that play. Current me? "Can I get change for this five?" Nothing personal. Respect the hustle. Get your money, girl. It seemed like the lunch shift was wrapping up around then. Eventually a spot opened at the bar, so I grabbed it. That's when Jolling took over--and I'm probably spelling her name completely wrong, so apologies if I just renamed this woman. She was great. Attentive without hovering, friendly, and on top of everything. Ordered another Banquet, some water, and then I noticed a sign for chili. Well... Now I HAVE to try the chili. She let me know it came with onions. Perfect. Bring it. Chili: 10/10. Seriously good. Rich, hearty, exactly what you want sitting at a bar watching football with a cold beer. Nothing fancy pretending to be something it isn't. Just a bowl of chili that understood the assignment. As far as being a Buffalo Bills bar? Ehhhhhh. I was watching the Bills, but I wouldn't exactly call the place Bills Mafia headquarters. I was expecting a little more Buffalo energy. The actual bar itself, though? Really cool. Nice decor, clean, comfortable, and even the restrooms were surprisingly clean. And listen, a clean bar restroom deserves recognition because we've all walked into places where you open the door and suddenly decide you can hold it another three hours. Eventually my partner got off work and met me there, and naturally we decided we needed more food. We ordered the sliders and chili cheese fries. Sliders: 9.8/10. Chili cheese fries: 10/10. Those fries did NOT come out with three sad pieces of cheese sprinkled on top pretending to be "loaded." They came out looking like somebody in that kitchen had something to prove. Cheese everywhere, chili everywhere, onions, fries buried underneath fighting for their lives. Exactly how chili cheese fries should arrive. Between the chili, sliders, and fries, the food was honestly one of the biggest surprises of the visit. And service? 10/10. I'm excluding my first interaction because I'm pretty sure that bartender was just trying to secure one final contribution to the retirement fund before her shift ended. I get it. You do you, girl. Once I was settled at the bar, Jolling and the rest of the staff were on point. Which brings me back to those Yelp reviews. After actually sitting here for a while, I can understand why some people think they need to "wave down the bartender." But I also think expectations matter. This is a bar where the bartenders are working the bar and running their own food. They're moving around and actually working. There's no reason to start waving your arms around like you're trying to land a helicopter. Have a little patience. If you're expecting someone to check on you every four minutes, refill your water the second it drops below the halfway point, ask how your first bite tasted, and give you that polished corporate restaurant service... There's probably a Yard House nearby. Go there. This isn't that kind of place. And honestly? I don't think it needs to be. Be friendly. Be patient. Understand that you're sitting in a neighborhood bar. Order a cold beer, eat some surprisingly good food, watch the game, talk to people, and enjoy yourself. That's exactly what we did. Chili: 10/10 Chili cheese fries: 10/10 Sliders: 9.8/10 Service: 10/10 Cleanliness: Surprisingly on point Buffalo Bills vibes: We can turn that dial up a few clicks Overall, really fun first experience. Cold beer, really good food, clean place, friendly staff, and once I grabbed a seat at the bar, I had absolutely no issues getting taken care of. I can see why the regulars like this place. Definitely coming back. And next time... I'm bringing smaller bills.

The bartending staff at Chaak always treats customers like family, but unfortunately, they close early, so my sister and I would often end up at The Swinging Door afterward. This past Friday night, the bar was not busy, yet Jacqueline, the bartender, repeatedly ignored us. After our first drinks, we tried to order a second round and flagged her down several times, but she showed no interest in helping us. Her behavior came across as dismissive, rude, and completely uncalled for. I had not been back to The Swinging Door in a long time because of a similar experience, but I previously chalked it up to the bar being busy that night. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that poor customer service continues to be an issue. No one goes to a bar on a Friday night expecting to be ignored or treated poorly by the bartender. Lesson learned. I sincerely hope management retrains its bartending staff and reminds them that being attentive and kind to customers is a basic part of the job.

Hi Melene Thank you for your response. I want to acknowledge…read morethat I did eventually sit down without being seated, and I understand that doing so was not consistent with your normal process. For that, I take responsibility. However, I believe your description leaves out important context that contributed to the situation. I waited in line like every other customer and spoke directly with the hostess. She was preparing to seat me, but then informed me that because I did not yet have all four members of my party present, I could not be seated. I explained that some members of my party were still looking for parking while others were on their way, and asked whether I could simply be seated as a party of one while I waited. I had driven a considerable distance specifically for this event and intended to purchase food and drinks. I was told that I could not be seated or served until the rest of my party arrived. What made this especially confusing was that the event had been advertised as first come, first served. Based on that advertising, I reasonably expected that arriving early and waiting in line would secure a place. Instead, I was told I could not be seated or served despite having arrived and waited my turn. Out of frustration, I briefly sat down hoping to get a drink of water and order food while waiting. When I was told I could not sit there, I immediately got up and left the table. I then asked whether there was anywhere else I could at least get food and water while waiting for my friends. Both the hostess and the manager informed me that I could not be served unless my full party was present. What further added to my frustration was watching a party of two get seated shortly afterward. Whether there were circumstances I was unaware of or not, it created the appearance that the policy was being applied inconsistently. My concern is less about being denied a table and more about the inconsistent messaging and customer experience. Had I been clearly informed in advance that "first come, first served" was subject to a full-party seating requirement, I would have planned accordingly. While I can acknowledge my role in the interaction, I believe there is also an opportunity for your business to reflect on how situations like this are communicated and handled. Customer dissatisfaction often comes not from the existence of a policy, but from inconsistent application and poor communication of that policy. Given the number of reviews expressing similar concerns, it may be worth considering whether there is a pattern that deserves attention. I wish your business success and appreciate you taking the time to respond.
