I've been to a number of Italian restaurants and this is by far my favorite place. In a small, dimly lit restaurant you'll find authentic Italian cuisine at an affordable price. I've never had a bad meal here and I've tried more than a handful of their dishes, my favorites being Eggplant parmigiana, Zuppa di Pesce, and the gnocchi in blush sauce. My family and I had an outstanding dinner today at this best kept secret in Natrona Heights. The food was wonderful. It was all homemade and tasted great. The portions are very large. The bread is baked right there at the restaraunt. It's very delicious. Our waitress and waiter were very polite and friendly. We will definitely go back. The gnocchi was homemade as is the sauce. Everytime i visit home, i try to make sure i stop here at least once. They have, without a doubt, the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I usually always prefer thin crust, but their dough is so fantastic that i always have to go with the thick cut. My family and friends fight for those great corner pieces just because the crust is that good. The ingredients are fresh, and they also have some pretty decent chicken wings. I've had the usual Italian fare while here at time such as lasagna, spaghetti, etc. everything has always been the good. The staff is always pleasant, welcoming, and they make me feel like I'm eating at their home. This place is a gem. read more

A little place for big appetites! The portions are huge and the quality is top notch. It's really good Southern Italian food (mainly red sauce dishes) and it's family friendly. There is often a wait to get a table, but it is worth it. Prices are medium but whatever your entree is, you end up with plenty of food to take home for the next night. Very good, family run restaurant. Been coming here for years. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the service is friendly. Absolutely outstanding Italian Restaurant! I routinely order the Chicken Parm and it is the best I've ever had. You have the option to have soup or salad with the homemade bread, of which I chose the wedding soup. The portions are generous, sauce is outstanding and prices are reasonable. Best Pizza hands down and their eggplant parmigiana is to die for. I have tried it on many cities and the Capri always tastes the absolute best! Also the sausage and roasted red peppers is another great dish. We have never had a bad meal here. read more

Best Italian in the heights! The prices are low, service is good and the food is out of this world! Wonderful breads, nice salads, and great takeout/delivery service. I've never had anything subpar. The room is a little small (seats ~25 people) total so not great for a large group, but otherwise it's awesome. And they have a gluten free menu (including pasta!). This place is an absolute gem. Excellent food, homemade bread, and great lunch specials. Capri is a real deal family owned restaurant. Be careful on summer months as the family goes back to Italy and closes the place for 2-3 weeks. I wish there was a restaurant like this in Cranberry Twp. The best food around! They have an extended dinner menu with many authentic Italian dishes along with sandwiches, a variety of pizza's, soups and salads. Their homemade bread is delicious. It's BYOB also! You won't go home hungry and will probably be taking half home and for a reasonable price. They also have breakfast that includes many specials. They used to be opened 7 days a week but now are closed on Mondays. Oh well--go one of the other 6 days. read more

This was one of the best pizza places I've gone to. The setting is nice, the waitress was great. We ordered the appetizer sampler and let me tell you what... THE BEST FRIED ZUCCHINI I've ever had. We eat at Capri often. We really enjoy their pizza, especially when it is well done, and their pasta. Recently, we had an experience with Capri's Stuffed Banana Peppers Appetizer that I would like to share. In addition to their delicious Margherita Pizza and Salmon Dinner, we ordered 2 orders of their stuffed banana peppers. Each order consisted of 3 large peppers, with a cost of $8.50 per order. Therefore, the cost of the 2 orders was $17.00. The peppers were horrible. The filling was bland, overly wet, and very difficult to get past the taste buds. My husband and I each tasted one, throwing the other 4 and the rest of our 2 in the trash. I called Capri to let them know how disappointed I was with the $17.00 I just spent in peppers. The woman who I spoke with, who I believe was the owner, argued with me, telling me that they were fresh and just made today. I told her that I did not believe they were old but tasted horrendous. She basically continued to argue with me, telling me in so many words that I was wrong thinking that their peppers tasted so horrible. I do not believe that this is the way that you do business. She proceeded to inform me of how many peppers they sell and that my taste buds are wrong. My husband and I enjoy and know a good stuffed pepper. My advice, do not order the stuffed banana peppers...do not waste your money! read more
