Pizza Roma wasn't built in a day! But it definitely is a staple in Cheswick and very well caters to the community with their setup, their menu, and their customer service! Pulling into the plaza, there are two buildings and a good number of businesses listed on the signage. BUT... Pizza Roma has spread itself across the one building with different doors for different venues. Takeout. Dining Room. Bar. Banquet Room. If you know me, I love the fact that they have added on the Takeout wing. The separate door and counter allow customers to be given attention as takeout orders and a place to wait, if needed. The takeout side has a cooler with available beverages, a really cool display of stacked pizza boxes (probably for ease of use, but the perfect organization looks pretty cool too), and a dedicated counter for payment. The employee seamlessly grabbed my order and took my payment in between another takeout customer which was efficient and helpful. I had ordered a half Italian hoagie with the platter option for fries and coleslaw. The Italian hoagie was surprisingly large and uniquely on a full hoagie roll still, not cut in half. The veggies were fresh and the Italian dressing was delicious too. The French fries and coleslaw were just okay. But for $2.50 upgrade, I'd add them again. The pizza is great whether it's a traditional , pepperoni, mushroom or plain; they are all great. Their pasta is great as well. My husband's favorite is linguine with white clam sauce. The Italian hoagie and the steak hoagie are favorites. This little restaurant has been in location for over 35 years that we have lived in the area. Try it out!! read more

Food had a strong odor of bleach. Waited a half hour for food. The crust was alright. Sauce tasted like literal blood and was watery. Pepperoni was rubbery. Cheese was rubbery and weirdly moist. This is a small, quiet Italian restaurant that also has a bar side and takeout. You won't be sorry with anything you order on the menu! The servings are huge and the food is delicious! Delicious food, great prices, and nice location! I've only had the calzone from here, but I can already tell this is a high quality restaurant and I will definitely return. Yesterday, I tried their small cheese calzone. The price was really excellent! Only around 9.70 or so for this homemade and very tasty dish. It's filled with a large amount of cheese, both mozzarella and ricotta. It's warm and gooey, but the dough is not soggy. In fact, it was crispy and a bit buttery on the outside, which I really enjoyed. The sauce on the side comes in a very large portion (the calzone itself is quite large, too). However, I wasn't the biggest fan of this sauce. It tasted a bit too acidic and didn't have many tomato chunks in there. Still, it was fine for a dip. Overall, I will definitely return to this location. The prices are great, the food is delicious, and prices are very reasonable for the portions. Great calzone! read more

If i could give zero stars i would. The staff and management failed tonight. My friend made a reservation for her boyfriends birthday for 9 people. They knew we were coming didn't even have enough seats set. We then started ordering drinks and immediately was an issue they couldn't keep up. The whole place had 2 servers. We ordered our drinks and the manager from the bar comes over and calls us all out for how we were demanding drinks. This was not the case. She failed tonight and said to us, (after our 1st drink)that we were not getting served any alcohol in the dinning room. She said we would have to walk up and enter the bar and ask her to get us drinks. (Obviously that will work because she's taking care of the whole bar and can't keep up as it is) so we go get drinks at the bar after dinner and she writes our drink tap on a napkin. Like it's 2020. We pay our tabs and are leaving and she said hey you all didn't pay your bar tabs. We went over and paid she got smart with us all like this was our fault! So it was a fail on their part and i would not recommend this establishments anyone! read more
