I arrived and I was the only patron in the joint. After a small pause on the counter, I placed my order and as I waited, watched several GrubHub type chauffeurs doing the grab & go. My dining in seems to be a bit of an anomaly for this location. When I did get my food, the young lady apologized for the wait and as I tore into my bag, I couldn't help but chuckle at the size of my sandwich. I did order a mini, but I'm being generous if this sandwich was four fingers wide. It ate well and fortunately I got fries to fill me up. Ok went today. Never again. 3 guys for lunch. One had soup. Came to table cold. Can you heat this up? We dont have a microwave. How was it supposed to be served hot. Mine? Took me 15 mins to order a small Italian sub once I got to register. Cash drawer wouldn't open for change had to wait for girl to go to back room and get key. My sub wasn't bad. I'll NEVER go back. Capriotti's is a good name, known for their quality. A colleague and I went for lunch. We both ordered a medium (10") Italian, mine hot, his cold. After a little wait, our subs were ready. We both were disappointed with how little meat there was. The flavor was there, but for the price, it is not worth it. A shame, as that area could use a quality sub shop that's not named Subway. The kick in the pants was my friend got a fountain soda, and I just said I'll get water. Water is usually free at almost everywhere I've ever eaten. They charged me $1.99 for "Capriotti's Water". We stopped in here for the first time today. We ordered a large (edited to reflect comment below) meatball sub (which was enormous) and a half turkey sandwich. We ordered at the counter and it took awhile for our subs to be made, fortunately we were not in a rush. The turkey was shredded fresh meat. The quality of the meat was good but even with the mayo and sub toppings, still very dry. My roll was also soggy which didn't make much sense since it was made and we were eating at the restaurant. The meatball sandwich needed twice as many meatballs to fill the bread but tasted good. There are not many tables and it was quite cool in there since the door would constantly open. Very disappointed. Prices are higher than every other Capriotti's in the area. Not sure why the prices higher than other Capriotti's. This location is definitely overpriced. Actually, I think the pricing is out of line, especially for what you get. Cheesesteaks were tasty but seemed small with meager amount of meat. I have had Capriotti's in Vegas, CA and DE and the subs at this location don't compare at all. Jersey Mikes and Firehouse are much heftier and less expensive. But the best in Bel Air is Tamberino's by far. Twice as much steak and two-thirds the price. Capriotti's needs to figure it out that their product is subpar and pricing is out of line in comparisons to their local competition. read more

Giving it 4 stars because I wish the sub rolls were more like a regular sub roll and not soft like a hamburger or hotdog roll. Service was good and subs were made quickly. First experience and will probably never go again. Ordered a Wagyu cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak, Wagyu tasted okay but was really dry with only about a 1/4 inch of meat on the bread. The biggest issue was the chicken cheesesteak. The chicken was so dry that it shredded the second you bit into it and absorbed the moisture from your mouth, no flavor, no seasoning. Ordered with lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions but got a surprise in the form of what we believe is barbecue sauce. The tomatoes were just slapped on the top in a last ditch effort to cover the sight of the unwanted sauce which was either laziness or to keep food costs down. I was super excited to have a Capriotti's coming to Bel Air. Very disappointed after my first visit. This location does not put out the same quality product as other locations - both the quantity of meat and toppings on the roll and the assembly are lacking. Perhaps send the employees to other locations to learn to make a good sandwich. This location also needs better rolls; the rolls are light a fluffy like Wonder Bread and not at all what one expects from a Capriotti's sandwich. I have been to multiple Capriotti's in the last 20 years. This one does not measure up. I am hopeful that it is just growing pains since it is newly opened. I'll give it one more try in a month or so, but if it does not come up to the standards of the other locations I've been to, that will be my last trip. read more

I was so excited to discover we were getting a Capriotti here in Bel Air. I work in Baltimore and that Capriotti's is our works go to for great subs. The one in Bel Air was beyond awful concerning food quality. We ordered our subs within 30 mins of them opening and it was very clear that the meat and bread were old and dried out. The steak was cold and so hard to chew like a leather shoe. If you want good Capriotti's go to the city, DO NOT recommend going to the one in Bel Air if all they will feed you is left overs at $15-20/sub. read more

It's a week before Thanksgiving and I'm already craving Thanksgiving dinner... so I asked my husband to stop and pick up a Hot Bobby on his way home from work to scratch the itch. I figured I'd give it some time and check back on yelp to see if things have changed, but looks like nothing has... very disappointed. Poor management and training seems to be the culprit. Guess I should have looked at the reviews first. Ordered an 8 in Tuna sub. Picture looked amazing on line. I even paid extra for extra tuna. I got BREAD! When showing cashier receipt she said even though the ticket said cheesesteak it was roast beef.-it wasn't. Wife ordered an Italian with side of oil. No oil and the roll wasn't fresh. I've heard so many negative things about this business but ignored them and decided to make my own opinion. Unfortunately, not a good experience at all. I ordered online and 2 subs were completely wrong and the Bobby sub had 2 little shavings of turkey. I called to let them know and apparently when you order online, because it's a corporate thing, it's not a guarantee on how your food will be made.
