Garlic bread (sub bread sliced and toasted with garlic and butter)

We drove an hour to try the crab cakes we saw on social media. This place you can dine in or carry out. Menu was expansive; pizza, Italian, seafood, subs, etc. I ordered the crab cake platter. Food came out hot. IMO the crab cakes could use more seasoning but size was decent. $30 for 8oz (seemed smaller) and fries with slaw.

I'm always looking for a crabcake so I visited this location in Abingdon Maryland My Server was Gabby. She was very attentive welcoming and happy. I was greeted when I entered. Everyone was very friendly. I got the 8 ounce crabcake with coleslaw and french fries the crabcake was very good. I like the texture and the ratio of the crab meat. It was very filling. I didn't really care for the coleslaw or the sauce that came with the crabcake, but the crabcake was moist, flavorful and delicious.

Super friendly staff and AMAZING food. The crab cake combo with fries was my pick. I even ordered a cheese pizza to go to bring home. Must try!

If you like crab cakes, this is a must go to spot. These were probably the best authentic, no filler crab cakes I've ever had. We ordered to go so I can't speak to service but the spot looks very casual and they're open late night. Coming from out of town I was looking for good crab cakes with crab chunks and this didn't disappoint. You can get them fried or broiled - highly recommend the broiled because you can see and taste the lump crab even better.

After seeing this all over social media, we decided to take the ride and try for ourselves. The ambiance was great for eating in their dining room. The service was awesome and the food was yummy!! We ordered the calamari, rock fish appetizer, pizza and couldn't forget the infamous crab cakes! Everything was delish! If you're in the area, it is definitely a must try... I know I'll be back for sure.

I finally tried this place! I have a friend who swears by this place and today was my time to shine. I ordered my food online. Super easy process. I ordered a broiled crab cake and fries. I was quoted 30 minutes, ready in 15. As I entered, there was a sweet lady behind the front counter who assisted me. I received my food. The fries looked amazing. They weren't. The fries came out w 3 different heating levels, 4 different textures. It was so annoying to eat. I had an hour drive ahead of me. I surely didn't have time or energy to return regarding the fries. The crab cake was fulfilling and amazing. It was so good. It was enough for 2. I would return to try the Crab Cake BLT and hot fries. If you haven't been, take the trip !!

Went to this location about a week ago to celebrate a birthday....The birthday boy wanted to try the TikTok crab cake, and it did not disappoint... it was huge!!! I went with the standard size, and again was delicious!! The staff was amazing, and even gave my two kids toys to play with while they waited. It is a little tight, and busy but worth the wait for the staff alone. The crab fries were wonderful as well and the wings were crispy

As I entered I thought it was a sub shop type of business. Until I followed and saw that it was an eat in establishment. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly. After being seated the waitress came to our table right away, identified herself and explained that the beverage machine is self serve other than tea and coffee. I chose hot tea and that too came out right away. When she returned with the tea we had decided on our order and it was taken. The waitress brought out bread for the table to eat while our food was being prepared. The food came out within a reasonable timeframe. When the food came out the portions were large. The burger was suppose to be smash burger. However, it was huge (2 big burgers and toppings on a bun. Due to the enormous size of the burger, after biting into it, it started fall apart. Not as requested, but tasty. The beerbattered rockfish was tasty. The coleslaw was not very tasty. The establishment is pretty clean. I saw the busboys really cleaning the tables and chairs. I would definitely go back

Coming back here after a lifetime of living in Florida really brought me back to my childhood. I'll get the lowlights out of the way. The Garlic bread was nothing spectacular and the self service Coke Freestyle machine while full of options, was always far too packed to get a drink as it was the only station. The pizza and especially the crust was delicious! The crab cake BLT was a real winner, fresh and extremely tasty. I do wish there was more seasoning in the crab cake itself, but luckily there was old bay seasoning available on the table. The portion of crab to filler was ON POINT! Overall a must stop when back in the Abingdon area!

The over all services and atmospher was fantastic. The food was tasty but could use more seasoning on the shrimp salad sandwich, calamari (very lightly breaded) and crabcake sandwich. The crabcake sandwich was truly 1lb, with barely any filler. I will be going again, I will just add extra seasonings. I had a slice of pizza which was good but crust was to think. Other than that very good eats.

The first restaurant I tried in my first trip to Maryland - my husband and his family used to go here all the time when they lived up here, and said this was a must-do. By far the best crab cake I've had in my entire Baltimore trip *note below. Box Hill's crab cake is the least amount of filler I've had after trying 4-5 different crab cakes this week. The jumbo lump crab was super high quality, the texture of the crab cake was impeccable, BUT: it came to the table completely unseasoned. Luckily there was old bay on the table to dump onto it, so as long as you're okay with seasoning it yourself, it really is a GREAT crab cake in terms of cook/texture/less filler. The garlic bread was pretty bland and was more like buttered bread, but I didn't come here for that. Disclaimer: I didn't end up trying the pizza myself but we did order it to share - I just got super full off of the crab cake itself. We got pepperoni and mushroom and the crust looked GREAT! My one complaint about the pizza, again without having tried it, is that the mushrooms weren't baked on, it was really just canned mushrooms with the liquid from the can dumped onto the pizza as a topping. Please bake them on the pizza!!! This restaurant uses a Coke Freestyle machine (I'm the biggest hater of this) and was super syrup-y/not very fresh. Service was decent and everyone was nice. Lots of room inside for seating.

The food was amazing. This is my "go-to" place for crab cakes when I visit friends in Maryland! We had an awesome waitress named Teresa, who was very attentive and met all of our needs plus some. I'm going to get some of these crabcakes, frozen and shipped to me in the Midwest!

Nothing really ever changes here...I've tried it every few months going back 15+ years. I go in…read moreevery few months for lunch and a drink because it's very close and convenient...figure I'll give it another chance. I had the "beef ravioli" a few days ago...the "marinara" sauce is sugary Ragu out of a jar at best. Still the same cheap bread that so obviously came frozen and fell off the back of a Sysco truck. Nice enough people I suppose and the service is perfectly adequate...I guess the family that owns it is trying...but I sure wish the food quality was 3x better at Enotria. Hire a far better chef, charge a couple bucks more if you need to, and buy far better quality ingredients. I'm no restaurant owner, but perhaps the solution is to cut the menu size by a 1/3rd and do the remainder far better. I'd be a regular at Enotria 2-3 times a week if it were actually high-end, fresh, quality Italian. There are carry out places in the area that have significantly better food than Enotria (Italian Sensation being a long time example). Vito's in Cockeysville is 3x better every single time. Drive to Reisterstown and Kecco's is excellent (a bit far away, admittedly). Liberatore's in Bel Air, while not close to as good as Vito's...is certainly better than Enotria and has picked it up during 2025 with a new chef. Enotria is in a tie for dead last Italian food in its area with Basta Pasta in Fallston...that would be the other slop Italian place in the area. I'd gladly pay more for a lunch or a dinner at Enotria if it were much higher caliber Italian food...and I suspect a lot of others would too. Enotria as it stands is completely cliche, marginal, "least common denominator" Italian food at most. Just because you play the same Dean Martin songs on repeat and yell "Bella Bella" to every woman that walks through the front door doesn't mean the food is any good.
