    Plant-Based Turkey
    Bianca C.

Tried for the first time for my book clubs dinner of choice. We all preordered our sandwiches through the app and picked them up with a breeze as we met in fig garden and hung out on the outdoor patio of Out of the Barrel. I ordered the Plant based Turkey sandwich and added oil, vinegar, spicy mustard and pickles. I'd give it a 5/10 only due to the turkey as I'm always looking for a plant based option. By the time we sat down to eat the sandwiches started to get soggy on the ends but we made the best of it. Service was fast and the staff were friendly.

Do you see any cranberry, mayonnaise, or any moisture? I don't!

I normally go to Capriotti's in Clovis and love it but had literally one of the worst sandwiches ever made at Fig Garden last Tuesday evening. Description: "Grilled slow-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, handmade stuffing, and mayo." The turkey was dry and salty, and the usually moist stuffing was bone-dry. The cranberry and mayonnaise would have helped, but as you can see in the pictures, both were missing! Am returning the inedible sandwich and requesting a refund. An apology would be nice too.

The sandwiches here are long af!!!!! I forgot the size measurement but I showed yall with my arm lmao. The wagyu beef sandwiches are really good and they have a new one u can dip in the au jus. Bussin! Service is always good and it's in the fig garden area. Oh and make sure to not leave out the grilled onion and peppers! Makes the sandwich taste even better!

This sandwich shop is on point. The service was outstanding from the point, you walk in they welcome you in and you are greeted with a smile. The Chicken bacon ranch served hot. The sandwich was loaded with chicken and cheese, bacon, and ranch. The bread was so fresh. The shop is a little small but it works. It was decorated with Halloween done up nice. The shop was super clean. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend giving it a try it will not disappoint you.

Was really craving a cold cut sandwich! My first time here and the person helping us was great, she was so nice and gave us some recommendations. I was kinda nervous trying this place because I knew it wouldn't be like Sam's deli or pie Monte's lol. I ordered the "wagyu" cold cut sandwich and the taste wasn't bad but it was so underwhelming, it didn't satisfy my cravings at all plus this place is a little bit pricey. The meats were kinda skimpy, it wasn't hitting. I also got a chicken noodle soup which was good and hot. Ordered the Italian cold cut and that was a disappointment as well. On the bright side I signed up with their rewards program and I was able to snag a free small (8in) sandwich of my choice with a purchase of something $2, so I paid for a cookie to get a sandwich. We ordered 2 half sandwich's (5inches) each and a small chicken noodle which came out to $28-$29 bucks btw. So that rewards made it worth it. Don't think I'll come back though.

Another reason I love coming to Fresno! I ordered Capriotti's through UberEats for an afternoon snack for my coworkers today. Got 5 different subs and then we sliced them into quarters, so we could sample them all! I tried nearly all and wow, each were fabulous! That Thanksgiving Dinner creation is genius! Impossible sub, too! The whole staff loved them. Arrived hot. The bread was beautifully crispy. Packaged up nicely. Absolutely delicious.

We had some clients come in and order from this shop and it was the first time I had ate these sandwiches and they were soo delicious. I had some type of marinated chicken with cheese and it was so filling. They did not skip out on the meat and toppings and there was so much flavor. I hadn't even heard of this place before and for an out of towner to show us a new place, is just embarrassing. Now I know, it is totally worth the money and everything looked delicious from what I could tell on their platters.

Walking in can be a little intimidating if you don't know what to expect, here is the process: you grab a ticket number, wait for your number to be called, place your order, take your receipt to the counter on the left to pay, and then wait for your name to be called. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth the $ for the quality. Our sandwiches ranged from $19-21 each. It was super busy, and when I walked in, no one really greeted me because they were swamped with customers. When it was finally my turn to order, the Caucasian woman with the glasses looked pissed off and didn't say sorry for the long wait and no smiles or anything. I told her I'm ordering 2 giant sandwiches, and I insisted that she write my order down on a piece of paper. Instead, she replied, "No, I don't mess up on customer orders." Her coworkers had to ask her a few times about my order because she didn't bother to write it down. When she rang me up, she asked if I needed a bag for my 2 giant sandwiches. Without saying it out loud, I'm like, "No, really, I'm just going to carry it out like a caveman." SMDH. These fast food workers, they don't deserve to make $20.00 something an hour; more like $8.00 an hour for their bad, mediocre customer service. I recommend going to the Friant location of the 41 freeway, or if you're near N. Riverside next to the 99 freeway, it's 10X much better.

The reviews…read morespoke highly not only of the food, but also of the people--and they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, Cindy and the entire team at The Berrock Shop welcomed us with genuine kindness and warmth. The environment was so warm, comfortable, and inviting that after a long drive, it immediately felt like a place where you could relax and enjoy yourself. It's clear they care deeply about the experience they create for every customer. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and exactly what we needed after being on the road. But what truly stood out was the hospitality. It's rare to find a place where you feel less like a customer and more like family, and that kind of experience stays with people. This is actually my very first Yelp review, which hopefully says something about how strongly I feel about this restaurant. I will gladly go out of my way to stop here again. And for those who live in Fresno, I would absolutely encourage you to support this local business. Restaurants with this kind of heart, care, and welcoming atmosphere deserve to be celebrated and supported by the community.

I had three items off their menu, the patty melt, chicken pot pie, and the shredded roast berrock…read more The patty melt was the least offensive thing I ordered, being just alright. it was a bit overcooked at the edges, so the crust had a burnt taste. Patty and onions were decent. Pot pie was edible, but not great. The whole thing was dry, and the crust is a quickbread crust instead of a pie crust, which made it worse. They try to make up for it by giving you an extra serving of gravy on the side, but if you know your food is dry you should fix it instead of putting a bandaid over it. The Berrock was the absolute worst. I bit into it and it just tasted like salt. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I got into the meat portion of it and took another bite. Pure freaking salt. It's like someone decided salt is the only necessary seasoning for their food. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the meat itself over the taste of salt. I ended up throwing it away after two bites. If the best this shop can do is "it's okay" then I've zero reason to come back.
