I've always ordered salads that you make yourself when I go here but today I was in the mood for a sandwich. So I had the tri-tip sandwich and it was really, really good. The meat was really tasty and super tender. Could not have been better. My friend got a salad and then she got the sweet potato fries. Those were completely scrumptious. One order is definitely enough for two people. We had so many leftover that she took her home and she said they reheated very well in her air fryer. We sat outside and it was a lovely day for lunch dining "en plein air". My only caveat is that the background music which they were playing in the restaurant was at a level of decibels that made conversing with someone prohibitive if you sat indoors. The music was also quite loud in the restrooms as well. This seems to be a trend happening many places these days. However, it is not sensitive to those who have neurodevelopmental disabilities or who have suffered from a concussion and have hearing sensitivities. I highly suggest to management that they lower the volume of the music indoors and check the decibel levels. read more

I've been there numerous times and I have yet to be disappointed. I always get the blackened salmon salad and it hits every time! Don't get me started on the garlic parmesean fries, I would literally do a backflip if I could for an order of those. Better this time -- they made my salad with only one mistake (they left out one item -- and they gave me the dressing I wanted. The fries were good today -- fresh and crispy. Service was busy and a little slow but that's not their fault. Just be aware that a short line doesn't always mean you'll be ordering quickly. Customers take a long time to order here. Stopped for lunch on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. I got chicken strips and fries and they were seasoned decently well. My boyfriend got a Reuben and he said it was a 3/5, not worth the price. The outdoor patio area is nice and I'd come back to try a sandwich. read more

At noon on Tuesday, there was no line and my food came out quick and hot! Fries were great and the BLTA was delicious! I like the quick option for when shopping around the center. Stopped by for lunch for the first time a couple weeks ago. I came in after the lunch hour so it wasn't crowded. Even if it wasn't crowded, there is a lot of seating including a good sized patio. It was a beautiful day and their patio is pretty cool for people-watching :) but I had to take my order to go. Workers were very friendly and helpful. Now the food was pretty darn good. I was really hungry and ordered the halloumi sandwich and a salad. I figured I'd get both because the sandwich didn't come with fries. I had to eat the salad for dinner because I got full off the sandwich. My sandwich was delicious. I love haloumi and this had a nice sized piece and a big slice of zucchini (love zucchini) which was a pleasant surprise - it and the aioli made a delicious sandwich! My salad was still good at dinner time. It was a fall special so they don't have it all the time. It had all my favorites like butternut squash and beets and goat cheese - YUMMM! I like the vibe here and the girl that helped my mother and I was really kind and spoke Spanish, which was a plus. My mom had eaten earlier and wanted me to try and I had been here a few years ago, but I don't even remember what I ordered. But I think my impression remains the same I feel like presentation wise. The food looks excellent. Good portions, good proteins good sides. However The food fails to wow my taste buds, which is why I ding a star. It was good. It was edible, but it looks better than it taste if that makes sense a little bland. I would definitely come again to try one of their salads the salmon plate with yams and mashed potatoes were quite tasty, but the flavor fell short Now I love a good mashed potato, but I felt the portion was rather large for the rest of the meal. Went here today for lunch. I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken. The additional chicken was $6 for only 3oz! Ridiculous! I understand food cost are rising but $2 per oz for chicken is insane! We also ordered a Ruben sandwich which was super salty and overall uneatable. Staff were rude as well, felt like a bad vibe. I'm so disappointed in my food today. Usually they're good but I don't know what happened today. I ordered two turkey plates with mashed potatoes and gravy and the vegetables. They made me wait 10 minutes for the vegetables and when I get them they're not cooked. The carrots were so hard I could not even cut through them with a steak Knife so I had to put them in the microwave. Isn't the whole purpose of eating at a restaurant or getting takeout so you don't have to cook ? they were almost half an inch thick. so many onions that were uncooked. It was like biting into a raw onion. my entire car stinks now. The turkey literally tasted like turkey jerky I had to give it to my dog cuz I couldn't even bite through it. I don't know what happened but I'm highly disappointed in the quality of food today. I left a message and hopefully somebody will call me back for a refund. Ridiculous that you pay almost $50 for two plates of food and they're not even palatable. read more

The outside of this place made me think it was going to be a restaurant but it is way more casual. To our surprise when we walked in we realized it was an order at the counter situation. The prices were reasonable so I didn't expect too much. However I risked it by getting the chicken dish. We also got a salmon salad. It's a nice step up from the Whole Foods bar in terms of the salad. The veggies were kind of weirdly cut. It felt like cafeteria food upgraded. But the flavor was good. The portion size was also good. However the chicken dish was dry. Sitting next to us was a family with seven kids! So it's a kid friendly place. Fast casual. You grab your own utensils. I think we would be back if we were grocery shopping and needed a healthy bite. I'd get the salad again and pass on the plates. read more

Arrived around lunch time. Not busy when we got there, got busier as the lunch crowd got there. Use to go a lot, menu has changed a bit. Place is always clean, this time was no exception. Ordered the Tri tip sandwich, added a side of Mac N Cheese, my friend ordered the Chicken Strips and fries. The Tri tip sandwich came out first, smaller portion than I remembered, and the Tri tip was warm, at best. It looked like it had been sitting for a while. I had a salad as my side, once again smaller portion that I remembered. The Mac N Cheese was fine. We had to wait a long time for the Chicken Strips, assuming they were preparing them. Thinking they would be hot, being just prepared, they weren't. Another sad fact, they eliminated their fabulous soda fountain. They use to be a 5 star with us. read more

My goodness this place has the very BEST turkey in all of Fresno! And it is the real turkey--not that compressed stuff. It is always cooked to absolute perfection. You can order white meat, dark meat, or mixed. And their extra fluffy new mashed potatoes with green onions mixed in are to die for! Trendy inside with simple and solid food! Located in the Fig Garden area, this place specializes in sandwiches, salads, and plates. Service is fast and decent. I find myself craving their cajun chicken sandwich a lot. Such a simple dish, yet it hits the spot every time. The juicy chicken pairs well with the mango salsa. Their sourdough bread is fluffy and a bit sweet, which is perfect for me. They seem to always have quality cuts of meat, and season every dish nicely. Their garlic fries are also a great choice for an appetizer. My only complaint is the portion sizes aren't that big. They are fine for what it is, however, when you pair that with how pricey it is, it loses a star for me. Still recommend checking it out when you're shopping in the area and want a quick bite to eat! read more

I was excited to try this place because ive heard good things about it. Unfortunately this will be the first and last time I order from her. The "korean" steak bowl was nothing more than an over cook steak salad. The description mentions black rice and red quinoa as well as gochujang sauce; I had to search for that rice and as for the sauce, none. I as well ordered urban fries because they looked really good, the amount of red chili flakes in it was ridiculous. I enjoy spicy food but that was just inedible. read more

Another great find in Fresno. Located in a fantastic little area, Fig Garden Village. Lots of upscale shops, a very nice, clean place. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating which is a big plus. The menu has lots of salads, sandwiches and plates like salmon with vegetables or tri-tip with mashed potatoes, etc. Everything I saw looked delicious. We were running late for a show at The Save Mart Center so we just got sandwiches. I had the Classic Chicken with fries. Amazing! The chicken was so tender, and the bread was possibly the best in Fresno. 5 star sandwich! My brother had the Turkey sandwich and had the same reaction to his food. I'm looking forward to eating here again. Next time I'm getting that Thanksgiving plate. read more

Recommended by a coworker for their excellent garlic fries, I decided to give this place a try. I arrived around 6pm. I do appreciate the ordering at the register and then seating after concept. The staff member at the register was nice, but immediately left afterwards so I had to wait to get the cup for the soda I ordered. I also ordered the grilled halloumi and garlic fries.This is a great meatless option. I especially enjoyed the crispy zucchini and the brioche bun components of this sandwich. The fries, generously topped with large garlic chunks, were delicious. However, the sticky table and the sight of piled dishes in the back were hard to ignore. Also, there was a ketchup dispenser, but no containers to put it in. Instead of bringing the plate to the dispenser, I decided to just grab a bottle of hot sauce to the table. To my utter disgust, that bottle was sticky as well! Despite ample staff and few patrons, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. While the food is great, I'll likely choose takeout next time to avoid the dining area. read more

Finally made it in here after driving by so often. Soon as we walked to the counter, we were greeted by friendly staff. You order at the register first, then find a seat & they'll bring your food out to you. Big open space, bright natural lighting & a variety of seating indoors & out. My BBQ Tri-Tip hit the spot. I liked the fresh veggies & crunch that the fried onion rings added to each bite. The fries were hot & crispy the whole time we sat there. Prices were reasonable & portions were generous. I was too full to eat more than half of my meal. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Asian Chicken salad & finished it all! read more

I met my daughter here this past week for her birthday. She recommended eating here. After reading some of the reviews I was a little nervous. Because some reviews aren't that great. In my experience you can't totally rely on everything you read on Yelp. So in we went. They really have some great options on the menu. Some of the reviews I read were really positive about the Cajun chicken sandwich. So I opted for that and the Mac and cheese as my side. Being that they had just opened it didn't take that long for our food to arrive. This sandwich looked amazing as did the Mac and cheese. Even better was the taste! I honestly don't know what I liked the best. But I love Mac and cheese so I probably enjoyed that the most. The sandwich had great flavor with fresh veggies and the bread was fresh.
