Hope this joint does well. Their fellow franchise has not earned our respect.

This franchise has only provided us a great experience for our currently running 3 visits. (Do not go to the location at Westfield San Jose, just the worst.) Good customer service upon entry and on the phone. They have two restrooms available and that's a big deal. We have ordered their Souvlaki plate, their chicken gyro, and their Gyro plate and everything is awesome. Their cubed chicken, their rotisserie-style sliced chicken, and their beef/lamb gyros are so delicious. We also love their pilaf, salad, and fries. Lots of seating within and typically a mild volume from customers. They keep it clean and definitely worth the visit!

Bowl was about 1/4 full, some of the neat was charred and burned.

Bowl barely had anything in it. Was about 1/4 full, some of the meat was burned.. it was appetizer size, maybe.

I come to the area whenever I stop at Sam's club. Was in then vicinity and curious about Nick the Greek so tried it for lunch. Ordered the chicken Gyro w fries and drink. The sauce is good! Like a honey mustard mayo but would love to try it with tzatziki next time. Wasn't expecting them to put fries in the pita but not mad at it. Speaking of fries, they are pretty darn good! Looks to be hand cut like In n out but the flavor is what differentiated it from other fries. Good seasoning on it but not too salty or greasy at all! The pita itself was warm, soft and fresh with lots of sliced chicken. Overall I enjoyed it and would totally come back soon.

First time here! Met a good friend for lunch today! Arrived almost 1pm. There were probably two people waiting for their food. I noticed it was a bit warm inside. They have plenty of tables. Self serve drinking station. As I was waiting for my friend to arrive I was looking over the menu, the gentleman at the front greeted me. I had my eye on the gyro plate. Which comes with choice of protein (I ordered chicken), salad, rice or fries, Tzatziki sauce and pita bread. Our food was taken to our table not long after we ordered. Soo disappointed I didn't get to take a picture of my order since my friend and I was in the moment of catching up. The salad was meh took a bite and didn't care for it. The chicken and rice were delicious!!!! Rice cooked perfectly the chicken was so tender, juicy and some of the tips were crispy and it had so much flavor! The tzatziki was amazing and creamy. The pita was warm, soft and delicious! I really enjoyed my lunch here! Will definitely return!

Randomly stopped here when we were in the river park area cus I was hungry and looking for something to eat. I checked out the menu and it looked pretty good! I couldn't decide which bowl I wanted., either Mediterranean or gyro. The mans helped me and said the gyro bowl is a favorite so I went with that. The price wasn't too bad. U get what u pay for. It's a good enough size bowl and I got full after eating the whole thing. It already came with tzatziki spicy yogurt but I also wanted garlic sauce on the side. Sauce isn't spicy not one bit. The garlic sauce was just ok. Not the best I tasted and the meat I did beef/lamb gyro. That too was just okay cus it was a lil dry but mixing it all together with the sauce it all came together. Next time I go, I'll try the gyro next.!

This place was clean and bright right as we walked in. We were greeted right away and the person running the register (Paul, the owner) was very friendly and patient. It being our first time we needed a little help figuring out what we wanted because everything looked so good! We landed on the Tahini Crunch salad (with added chicken skewer) and the Mediterranean bowl with gyro chicken (and an extra chicken skewer). Everything was so flavorful and bright. Great texture and flavor to the meat, too. The owner came back around and checked on us as we were eating. Great experience - we look forward to coming back and trying more of their delicious offerings!

Ima start off with service, the manager or who ever he was was super respectable and was able to assist me right away, gave me a few recommendations and honestly picked a few good ones, food was good the greek fries tasted good and the gyro pita had super tender and flavorful meat. Would come back and try again

All I can say is if you order take out, be sure and check your order is right before you leave!!!! I ordered take out for dinner. After a long day at work, I didn't have the energy to make dinner so I ordered take out. I called my order in, when I got to the restaurant it was completely dead inside. I didn't bother to check my order because I was hungry and just wanted to get back home to have dinner. Oh and my receipt clearly said, sauce on the side AND again, there was not one customer there, how could they get my order wrong??? Well they did! And I didn't realize that until I got home! I contemplated even driving back just for the sauce but I had to do it because the chicken gyro just isn't the same without it. I walked in and the cook in back asked if he could help and I told him they got my order wrong and showed him my receipt. I told him I got home and realized they didn't bag my side of sauce. The cashier who took my order grabbed the sauce and handed it to me with an apology. An apology doesn't make it acceptable! I told them how could you get my order wrong, the receipt clearly shows my request and there's no one here! I walked out upset and went back home to a now cold meal. I wish I could take the tip I left back too!!! Here's a tip, take the time to get your customers order right!!!!

My go-to order is Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita and Greek Fries-- and it never disappoints. The service is quick, and the food is always consistently good! Im particular with fries, it has a nice bite, and crisp, even with the feta and the green onion it doesn't get soggy, it's so good!

The ambiance is pretty basic, but the food... great! I had a beef gyro and a side of fries. My husband had the pork belly gyro. The flavors mixed were very delicious. The side of fries has an oregano seasoning. The service was good,

Exactly what I was craving! I was in Greece 3 months ago and eating food here took me back :) I ordered the pork gyro plate with fries, and it comes with a side salad. Everything had very good herby flavor. Would have been a nicer experience if they served on actual plates when dining in here & played Greek/Mediterranean music rather than the hip hop that was playing. Besides that, I have found my go to spot for Greek food!

And so, the rice was so delicious, lamb so succulent that it almost melted in my mouth. The server was so kind and sweet, even with a jam packed midday lunch crowd. Everyone there seemed like they were being treated like family and like they eat there all the time. Aside from the above, which would easily be enough for a positive review here, there's even more. As I rushed out of the restaurant, I left my credit card. In my haste to be the 3-hour traffic back up to the Bay Area, I completely forgot until I got halfway back home, stopped for gas, and realized I couldn't pay for my gas with my card. I called them and luckily the same gal who was my server picked up and remembered me, confirmed she had my CC and told me to come back and get it. I told her I was back up in Oakland and asked a HUUUUUUGE Favor of them, to mail my CC back to me to save me the 6 hour round trip drive and ALL the headache I'd incur of getting a new card and having to redo all of the auto-pay set for countless bills with a new card number. Guess what? They did it! They took time from their busy lives, put a customer's needs first and saw past my human error and so generously sent my card to my home. Places like this family owned, down home place restore my faith in humanity and make me wish more places like this existed all over. "Thank you" doesn't even do justice for my gratitude to these folks. Can't wait to sit and dine with you all again. Huge thanks Phoenician Garden Folks

The server was very kind and built a good rapport with our table. We ordered and it took quite long to get our food. We sat down around 5:40 and ordered shortly after, received the app at 6:07 and received our food at 6:40. The food was delicious and have no complaints there. The falafel was flavorful and the chicken shawarma was moist and delicious. One issue we had though, My friend saw a wax pepper on one of the plates and asked if she can have another one. The food runner came back and brought a side dish of peppers and a side dish of pickled beets. Our server then comes out and asks whose tab he should put that on. We were a little confused because they didn't mention it would he a charge and she only asked for 1 extra not an entire bowl + a bowl of something she didn't ask for. But she took the charge and it was about $5 combined for both, a charge that wasn't prefaced beforehand. Nonetheless, the food was amazing and our server was very sweet. The restaurant was packed so it's nice to see they are busy for a local business!

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
