I couldn't decide which bowl I wanted., either Mediterranean or gyro. The mans helped me and said the gyro bowl is a favorite so I went with that. The price wasn't too bad. U get what u pay for. It's a good enough size bowl and I got full after eating the whole thing. It already came with tzatziki spicy yogurt but I also wanted garlic sauce on the side. Sauce isn't spicy not one bit. The garlic sauce was just ok. Not the best I tasted and the meat I did beef/lamb gyro. That too was just okay cus it was a lil dry but mixing it all together with the sauce it all came together. This place was clean and bright right as we walked in. We were greeted right away and the person running the register (Paul, the owner) was very friendly and patient. It being our first time we needed a little help figuring out what we wanted because everything looked so good! We landed on the Tahini Crunch salad (with added chicken skewer) and the Mediterranean bowl with gyro chicken (and an extra chicken skewer). Everything was so flavorful and bright. All I can say is if you order take out, be sure and check your order is right before you leave!!!! I ordered take out for dinner. After a long day at work, I didn't have the energy to make dinner so I ordered take out. I called my order in, when I got to the restaurant it was completely dead inside. I didn't bother to check my order because I was hungry and just wanted to get back home to have dinner. Oh and my receipt clearly said, sauce on the side AND again, there was not one customer there, how could they get my order wrong??? Well they did! And I didn't realize that until I got home! I contemplated even driving back just for the sauce but I had to do it because the chicken gyro just isn't the same without it. I walked in and the cook in back asked if he could help and I told him they got my order wrong and showed him my receipt. I told him I got home and realized they didn't bag my side of sauce. The cashier who took my order grabbed the sauce and handed it to me with an apology. An apology doesn't make it acceptable! I told them how could you get my order wrong, the receipt clearly shows my request and there's no one here! I walked out upset and went back home to a now cold meal. Food was good, I ordered the Gyro plate with Nick fries. Meat was flavorful but a bit dry. Fries were good too and freshly cooked. Pita bread was outstanding, freshly baked and tender sprinkled with chopped herbs. Side salad was good either way fresh lettuce feta cheese and olives, Greek dressing was a bit bland. Baklava was a bit of a disappointment it had just a bit of an aftertaste like the nuts were just a bit old and going off. It was fairly late and not at all crowded most people getting orders to go. Space is clean and comfortable. Only thing that I really dislike is that the woman who takes your order seems like she really considers it an interruption of whatever she would rather be doing. Light not greasy flavorful bites of falafel stuffed on romaine lettuce with yogurt cucumber sauce. Bowl consists if choice of protein.. In this case pork souvlaki which was very tender flavorful charred chunks of pork on top of garlicky rice pilaf with fresh salad and yogurt cucumber sauce for just under thirteen dollars.. Very tasty and filling. Pork belly plate came with either rice or fresh cut fries, pita, fresh green salad and yogurt sauce.. Belly was thin shaven and tender but crisped with light garlic hints. Nick's fries come with choice of protein, tender lemony garlicky chicken souvlaki in this case, with fresh cut fries, garlic. Yogurt sauce and spicy mayo sauce.. Very filling.. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table in baskets or you can get it to-go. The person at the counter was so helpful and friendly. It was our first time so they were able to give us the run down of the whole menu. I got the plate and it comes with your choice of meat, rice, side salad, sauce, onion, tomato, and grilled pita. But the grilled and seasoned pita was my favorite. My husband got the gyro wrap with fries. Although it was pretty big, he said he could have had two because they were so good. I tried the one in SLO. It was delicious and came across this one when I was leaving Roger's Jewelry. Since my husband and son liked it at SLO we gave it a try for lunch. The girl at the counter was friendly and she even brought the food to our table. There were plenty of seats and the place was clean. We ordered the Gyros Plate, it came with protein of your choice, rice or fries, side of salad, sauce and pita bread, also tomatoes and onions. The kids plate was the same except no tomatoes and onions, no sauce and no side salad. But it was the same size plate and packed. My son alone couldn't finish it. The restaurant itself is nice and roomy with huge windows. It's super clean and well laid out. The music is not too loud and thankfully the TV is on mute! The service was connected and friendly. And it's nice to be thanked for leaving a tip. People don't seem to do that enough or even acknowledge that you're giving them one anymore... I literally only eat fries once a month. That's it. So this was a nice version of it to use that 'monthly fri card' up with. I thought they were quite tasty with the feta and the green onion. .. I super appreciate it that they were not too salty!!!!!!!!! And although they are just over eight dollars, they are enough for four people! The chicken euro was OK. I asked for no french fries on it but got some anyway. No big. The sauce, salad, and the bread were delicious, but the chicken wasn't that tasty and was large chunks where I would've preferred thinner shavings. I don't drink soda, or sweet drinks ever and only hit dessert a couple times a year. Combos are never a value for me, or of interest.. even if the drinks or dessert were free (anywhere), I would totally skip them! Liking them or the money has nothing to do with it!! I'm glad I got to try the food here but don't see myself returning frequently. I'm too picky and there's just not enough variety here to keep it interesting for me. Wow, Nick the Greek in Fresno! First time visiting this location in January 2024. Nice greeting when you walk in. Their wall menu is a good size, easy to see, I tried their spinach salad with chicken. Ben tried a lamb and beef gyro. Both delicious! The chicken is very flavorful and they give you a nice sized portion in the salad. Will be back next time we are running errands near RiverPark. read more

First time trying. Reminds me of the old Fresno Farmers mkt downtown Zorba the Greek. For $13 you can get a Tasty Gyro with generous amount of meet and tomotoes, onions and sauce and fries. Fries add a nice touch I wasn't expecting that. Staff was friendly the interior seating was clean. If you're not an onion person it might be better to order on the side there is a lot of raw onions. I see on the menu they do have plates $16.50, and bowls $12.50 and salads $11.40. Will return again and try the Greek frozen yogurt. read more
