I have driven by this place for years and never stopped in. On a random Sunday decided to try it out. Upon entering the first thing that stuck out is how COLD it was inside. It was a beautiful day and man it was freezing inside. I had to go to the car and grab a jacket. You order at the counter and it is similar to Penn Station but a bit fancier and pricier. I ordered a barbecue chicken sub which has coleslaw and it was more coleslaw than meet and was pretty flavorless. I may have just ordered the wrong thing but I did ask the cashier if it was good and he said excellent, so I don't know. I did eat there but it was so cold I wasn't able to really sit and enjoy. Just overall not a great experience but maybe if you order something else, it would be better.

The impossible cheesesteak is made with plant based meat and comes with mushrooms, onions and the option for sweet or hot peppers. I opted for provolone cheese instead of the white American cheese. The sweet peppers were the perfect accompaniment to the already tadty sandwich. Not sure how healthy it is but it's definitely a great alternative to their traditional cheesesteak option.

This is the second location of Capriotti's I have had a sandwich from, having previously visited the Greenwood location. I recognized the interior with their brick wall and real wood paneling plus the trendy lighting. I was in a hurry and knew I could do lunch in under 20 minutes here. They were not crowded at all on a Monday at noon. Service was quick with no waiting and food promptly provided. I ordered the Classic Cheesesteak with sweet peppers and no mushrooms. I love how they ask you what you want on your sandwich. The sandwich was excellent and the sweet peppers were sweet. I visited the restroom and found everything was okay except for a few bits of paper towels on the floor, but otherwise the restroom was stocked and clean. Parking spaces were plentiful in the shared lot.

This was the first time at this location. We were greeted by Eric with a friendly hello-how can I help you? Can I recommend anything to you. What do you like hot or cold. So he told me to get the Capastrami on it was pastrami, Swiss cheese, coleslaw, and Russian dressing. I loved it, but it was a little greasy. Dave got Grilled Italian-Genoa salami, capocollo, Prosciutto, provolone cheese, onion, lettuce, and tomato. He said it was very good. We will go back to this location. The food was good, but the service was excellent all because of Eric.

We carried out from Capriotti's Sandwich Shop tonight. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by their friendly staff. We ordered the Italian Sausage Sandwich - grilled chopped Italian Sausage with mushrooms, sweet peppers, onions, melty provolone cheese, and top it with marinara. It was very good - we will order this again.

We come here all the time. You won't find a better or friendly staff anywhere. On top of that the sandwiches are amazing. My only complaint is that they never have iced tea.

    Classic Cheese Steak. Super cheesy.

First off, don't walk in expecting a big menu. You're getting about five sandwiches, and that's it. Turkey club, spicy turkey club, Cubano, the "Peter Dick," and the short rib sandwich. A couple sides, chips included, and that's the whole operation. Simple menu. Serious execution. I went with the short rib sandwich, and I'll be honest...when it came out, I had a moment. For $16, it looks like the smallest sandwich on the board. You start doing that internal math like, "Did I just spend $20 on lunch and still need a snack after this?" Yeah...no. Every bite was packed! The tender, flavorful braised beef was clearly the star of the show. The cajun crema brought a rich, slightly smoky depth, the pickled jalapeños added just the right amount of tang and balanced heat; not overwhelming, just enhancing...and the cheese tied everything together without competing with the beef. That brioche bun? Soft, toasted, and doing just enough to hold everything together without getting in the way. And the chips...honestly perfect for what they're supposed to do: add texture without distracting from the sandwich. (Next time I might throw them on the sandwich... for research purposes.) Washed it down with a Mexican Coke, because...they had Mexican Coke! ‍ Now let's talk about the vibe. Nirvana playing. Grateful Dead stickers everywhere. Chalkboard menu. It feels like a Gen X dive spot... until you taste the food and realize the guys in the kitchen know exactly what they're doing. That's the magic of this place. This isn't just a good sandwich spot, it's the kind of place that reminds you why local food hits different. I'll be back. Next time, it's the spicy turkey club.

Their bakery items are very pretty, but we have noticed that some of the offerings (like the stuffed donuts) do not really have a taste to them besides sugar- which is fine if you're just wanting a quick sugar rush, but disappointing if you're actually wanting to try an ube stuffed donut and then don't get any ube flavor at all. Their display offerings are very good and always taste like what they say they should. I've never tried any savory pastries from them, but I want to on my next visit. They have coffee, hot chocolate, frappes, smoothies, lemonades, etc as well. The tiramisu latte is amazing and I get it every time I go since it's always when it's fall/winter, but an iced coffee or lemonade sounds so good once the weather gets warm again. Plan your visit for early in the day before their pastries get bought up! They stay very busy and our last visit was late in the evening to coincide with grocery shopping in Saraga so we could take everything straight home to the fridge. They were very picked over, but I got a slice of pound cake to snack on with my latte and a load of milk bread. The milk bread is a family favorite, so I recommend trying that out if you've never had it before. They also sell some super cute "accessories" on top of the display case and I bought "Happy Birthday" candles for my husband's birthday earlier this month from them, as well as some that said "I Love You" for Valentine's Day.

We ordered our food at the counter and the woman taking our order was friendly. As we waited, though, things kind of went downhill. The menu is on three TV screens above the register, and she turned them off, which seemed weird. She brought out my boyfriend's shake, way before the food. It was honestly more of a mediocre chocolate milk. The wraps were ok, I got the tika masala one, my boyfriend got the chicken wrap. He didn't really enjoy his and didn't finish it all. The wraps came with fries that were dry and rather cold. I had ordered a strawberry refresher to drink and they took a weirdly long time to bring it out after the food. We thought they had forgotten about it, but when we asked we were told it would be out soon, then we continued to wait a while. Overall not a great experience, and they seem to be not doing great if she's saving electricity by turning their menu off between customers. One other couple came in to order towards the end of our visit, and we were there for a while. Sadly disappointed.

First off, Burger Revolution is located in the Castleton Food Court. The emphasis is obviously on burgers with a handful of specialty burgers noted. I did not see a "build your own" option and I opted to not ask about deviations from the posted menu. They also offer a couple chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. As one other reviewer noted, you do want to read the menu carefully as there are definitely some add-on prices. The burgers are of the "smash burger" variety. You can also double up your burgers, though there's an upcharge. Truthfully, I wasn't quite sure how the pricing worked. I think the fries were extra, though maybe the drink was included. Regardless, I paid about $14 for a burger (with cheese), fries, and a 24-ounce drink (my usual unsweetened iced tea). The good? First off, the employee working the front was super friendly and helpful. Secondly, the burger was quite good (better than expected and certainly better than the usual mall burger). The fries were also quite tasty. Overall, I was pleased here. I'd prefer a bit more transparency with pricing and clarity on burger options (Is it possible to build your own?). I expect to pay a bit more at a mall - so that didn't much bother me. The service was friendly, the food was tasty and fresh, and I would absolutely order this again in the future. While I'm not willing to call this a 5-star experience, it was a solid 4-star for me.
