Ordrered take-out and wanted to try their pizza and it was pretty good. Certainly not the best like New Haven, but for the Bethel area it's not bad. Had the capri special without pepperoni, not quite the thin crust that I like but it was good. Tried their meatballs app was incredible and the red sauce was delish! Idk about sitting inside but outside there's 2 permanent picnic tables 4 benches on each side! Very comfortable! Plenty of Parking thAt must be shared w. I hope the workers/owners are reading this review so you can correct the one slight issue I get, and to watch out for the tiny accident I had (only twice) But I want to say I love the pizza here. I won't order from anywhere else in town. And I wish I knew exactly what cheeses and sauce is used. But the one thing that nags me. Is that when I order the Extra Cheese. Sometimes it really doesn't seem to be any more than the regular. And I have a suspicion it has to do with the person making the pie. Sometimes it comes with enough cheese that if you tip the box the cheese will shift there is so much. Now THAT is an extra cheese, and all of the extra cheese orders should be like that. :) One tiny thing to watch for though. In the last year of all the pies I ordered, there was two times where a piece of onion got stuck hiding in the pie, which as it baked caused the onion flavor to diffuse out through half the pie. Kind of spoiled it for me since onions upset my stomach. Though I understand how seeing a single piece of onion among endless shreds of white cheese is an easy thing to overlook. I only mention it because that completes the only troubles I have ever had here. Bottom line is though, Whenever I'm visiting another town and we are getting a pizza, I'm hoping it compares to what I get from here. read more

I can to this place every time I visit my family in Danbury and it's awesome! The pizzas are amazing and the garlic knots are good.

The service was absolutely excellent. The bruschetta grinder was very tasty but essentially just melty cheese, chicken cutlet, and chopped tomatoes and onion. Some vinaigrette and garlic would've rounded out the flavor nicely. read more

Stopped in here for a quick, but late, lunch and grabbed a slice of pepper and onion pizza. The first thing that was a disappointment was the price of a slice. Almost $3.00, well $2.95 exactly, for a slice of pizza. On top of that, it was fairly obvious that the slices that were available had been sitting on display for quite some time. Now, I don't mind having a warmed up piece of pizza, but I do feel that the price should decrease if the pizza really isn't all that fresh. I know this is a family run establishment and the woman who waited on me was very nice. I just remember having Capri's pizza as a kid and I remember it being really good. This was just terrible and I can guarantee that I will look elsewhere before going to Capri's again anytime soon. read more

I've been coming to Capri's for a few weeks now on Friday nights. Everything started off OK, and the pizza is decent but recently the quality is slipping and the wait keeps getting longer and longer. At first it was a 15 minute wait, then 20, then 30, now 45. I called in my order, and wanted a calzone. Was told they didn't have calzones, yet I'm here now and people are ordering them...The topping selection here is great. I just think they are falling victim to their own success. It seems to me they just can't keep up. I'd say that if you were considering checking this place out, avoid peak meal times! Good luck. read more

Upside: incredibly good pizza. Major downside: I ordered 7 pies to be delivered for a 3 pm birthday party on 7/5, was told to confirm morning of, FB says they're open, website says they're open, and... not open. Drove over: not open. So now I have 20 people coming for a (socially distanced) party on a 94 degree day, and no food. And it was prepaid, over $150. I have been coming here for 16 years, but unless they can explain themselves, I won't be back. And neither will my neighbors who are the guests at the party. 3 attempts at a refund and we got a professional run-around. Everything from "the manager can't do it" to "the only person who can do it is in Arizona." (?) Today, ten days after the party, I gave them one more chance. I attempted to report to the BBB but...no BBB listing. I called my bank to report a charge for cancelled service. While I was on the phone with my bank, they called and issued the refund. Just like that. There are probably 20 pizza restaurants in a 7 mile radius of Capri. I have loved and patronized this one for almost 2 decades and I hate moving on, but their treatment was absolutely unacceptable. read more

We have found Capri Pizza to be the best in the Danbury/Bethell area. The pies are consistently great. We LOVE the sausage and pepper thin crust to be our favorite. But the Sicilian thick crust pie was a treat also. We regularly order grinders from Capri and they are generous and full of flavor. The meatball parm and the sausage and pepper grinders are to die for! Give this restaurant a try, they are located at the intersection of old Hawleyville and Stony-hill roads. This place fits the bill as one of those long time family run (is into its 2nd generation) pizza and Pasta Restaurants. The food never disappoints and Nino and Jennifer always greet with a smile and ask how the family is! The Chicken Parm pizza is my favorite as it's cheesy and full of robust flavor. We keep giving this place chances, but something is always wrong with their delivery. 2 of the 3 times they've executed the order wrong. Somehow the order is repeated back correctly, and correct on the ticket, yet when you open the bag it's incorrect. The third time, a chicken cesar wrap was ordered and it was about 75% onions and no lettuce. The wait for delivery is usually 45 minutes, which isn't bad but when you consider the food is usually wrong, it sucks. read more

The pizza here is good, but this review is directed at Celiacs. Don't eat here, the gluten-free pizza came back positive for gluten when tested on the Nima. That means 20ppm+. For the owners: don't offer GF options if you can't come through with what that means. Celiacs can get violently ill for an extended period of time. read more

Capri's pizza continues to raise the bar in providing top quality food and second to none service. We had Capri's cater our son's baptism party of 30 people. The Chicken Parmesan, pounded thin & perfectly seasoned, enrobed in a sweet marinara sauce, and covered with a gratuitous amount of quality mozzarella was the highlight of the day. The chicken was perfectly complimented by the Penne alla Vodka and Baked Ziti. Those with bigger appetites were also satiated by the sweet and smokey sausage & peppers. As Bethel Transplants and Native New Yorkers, my family is grateful to have this "little slice of home" nearby. We will continue being dedicated patrons for years to come!
