Traveling from PA to NH and needed to find a place to stop for an early dinner. Found this place on Yelp and was only 5 minutes off route. Wow! Everything about this place was awesome! It's located in the back/basement of a building. The devote is retro and interesting. Our waitress was super nice. I was trying to decide between two drinks and she said she would recommend one over the other, but if I didn't like it, she would have the bartender make the other. We ordered the shaved salad. She said everything is made to order, so we left out the mandarin oranges. It was super flavorful. We ordered the Detroit-style pizza, half pepperoni, half sausage. It was SO, so good. The sauce was excellent. All the ingredients were well-balanced, not too much or too little of anything. Sliced in strips, so easy to hold. Very enjoyable. My Oh, Summer cocktail was excellent! I've wanted their French Onion pizza since I first saw it on Instagram. It was perfection. The awesome cheesy garlic bread vibes. The crispy side crust. The sweet sugary onions. I have been hearing about Good Old Days for a while on Yelp and reading pizza reviews. My daughter and I took the trip up there to try there pizza. The restaurant was very welcoming with famous food chefs pictures and back in day memorabilia. What I loved about the restaurant was the old VHS tapes stacked up with the movies such as back to the future. We ordered a pizza with half Pepperoni and Cheese and we also ordered the Bikini Bod with Hot Honey Sauce. The Bikini Bod was very delicious but for me it was very decadent. I could only eat about two or the slices. The flavors are great and that hot honey sauce is the bomb!!! I would definitely buy a bottle of that and put it on Fried Chicken. The half Pepperoni and Cheese pizza was delicious. Very crispy and the sauce was very flavorful. My daughter loves cannolis and wanted to order some. I really didn't care for them. The chocolate on the cannolis in my opinion was bitter but my daughter throughly enjoyed them as she ate all of them. The customer service was definitely on point. The hostess rang us up after about 45 minutes and we settled up the bar tab at Marigolds and walked down to the pizza parlor below. We got seated right away around 4:30 on a Saturday. We definitely beat the rush because it was packed shortly after! Turns out, they do happy hour on the weekends so beer & wine was only $5! Even our server was a delight! We started with the Doughknots which aren't on the menu anymore, but from pics on Yelp, we knew about them. They come served with their famous vodka sauce that you could easily just drink itself, but more on that later. We ordered 3 of their "square pies" which are Detroit style with crispy edges. We got the French Onion, Bikini Bod and Vodka pie. ALL. WERE. AMAZING. The whole group agreed and we couldn't stop talking about how tasty they were as we devoured them. The vodka pie was the real star - that sauce is something special and it was covered in it. The house made hot honey that topped the bikini bod also made it a perfect pie. I was most excited about the french onion but it didn't stand out for me. There were some perfect bites don't get me wrong, but I think the other pies blew this out out of the water. This place is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon from you would not guess - a TikTok microinfluencer. Upon entry I was immediately greeted and told about the approximate wait time. There is a grand fire place right to the left of the entrance, so my mom and I stood there to warm up as we waited. Though, it was a tight squeeze due to the layout of the tables. From here, we were able to see into the kitchen and watch the chefs throw the pies into the brick oven. This was nice to pass the time. I would probably not recommend coming here in a large group, or at least would suggest calling ahead to inquire wait time. The interior is small and does not fit many tables, and it is evident that they are often busy (with good reason). The service was also good. We came in knowing what we wanted - the deep dish vodka pizza as well as the pepperoni. On the menu it warns that the wait time for the deep dish is 25 plus minutes, but it did not feel that long. The pizza was yummy, crispy, cheesy, and seasoned well. Be warned that due to the size of the space, it is a bit noisy and hard to have conversation, but overall good experience. read more

Depending on what type of pizza you like you can throw a rock and hit a really good place but this restaurant is unique in my opinion. They have both thin crust round pizza, and they have Detroit style Square pizza. The vibe is 70s themed and they have a really good cocktail bar in the back that's always playing good movies on the TV. The decor is really cool and unique to this restaurant and they have live music on the weekends. The pizza is truly exceptional and offers a menu with many different flavor combinations. Finally got to try this place as we have seen the rave reviews and lines of cars going into the parking lot. We are a pizza loving family so we were excited to see what all the hype was about! I am also a huge fan of "different" ingredient pizzas which I had heard Good Old Days excel at. We went in for a weekend lunch to eat inside as it was a hot day. Perfect time to come, not busy at all and they were easily able to accommodate our party of 6 with no issues. Because it is the basement level of the place, it is on the cooler and dimmer side which was perfect/refreshing for a warm day. They also have outdoor dining tables with a pretty set up if the weather permits. Cool inside decor, art work, and comfortable seating areas. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, great service! We ordered quite a few pizzas to sample all they had to offer so I can give a good rundown because I did take at least a bite of them all..... We started with the chopped vegetable salad with Gorgonzola. It was fabulous! I typically find it hard to rave about restaurant salads as I make pretty good ones at home but this was a real shining star. They loaded it with a variety of vegetables and took great care in how they sliced, diced, and presented them. They spiraled the beets, thinly sliced cauliflower, shaved the radishes..... I could go on and on but the main point is it was a delicious, well flavored, and a healthy dose of vegetable goodness. I would in a heartbeat order this salad again for dine in and for take out.... because honestly I don't have the time to put that detail into my vegetables.
