Went through the automated drive through to get ice salt off my car. This car wash is conveniently located off gender near a traffic light. They have two automatic and two - three manual car wash settings with free vacuums. I purchased "the works" for $11 to deeply clean my car. Quality: - car wash: the touch free automatic car wash is ok. There was still residual dirt on my car. I believe two passes (ie going through the car wash twice) would have removed more dirt. The timed air dryer wasn't enough time to dry the car (it cut off at the halfway point of my car). Other- The free vacuums worked nicely. And there are packages you can purchase to save money on car washes. Price: $ overpriced. read more

Just washed my car at captain's Car Wash in Canal Winchester. I paid $11.00 for the ultimate wash and it is the worst car wash I've ever had. Didn't clean my car and left water spots all over my car. I come here several times a week and it's never been this bad. If you go there don't go to the side on right as you are facing the building. Terrible job read more

I prefer real automatic car washes with brushes such as Moo Moo Express, but when I'm in the Gender Road area, this place is the closest and most convenient even though it's touchless. The automatic car wash does what it's supposed to do. The parking lot is clean and the wash always works well. I've found with any automatic was, the best thing to do is keep a soft towel with you and give your windows and mirrors a quick wipe down immediately after the wash while still in the lot. I'm only leaving three stars bc this location is on the expensive side. $8 for the lowest quality was that gives you a dryer option. $6 for a wash with no dryer option. You can get an awesome wash with a dry at Moo Moo Express and Giant Eagle for $5. read more

I used to love this place! The self serve car wash Presoak and soap used to wash my car got all the grime and dirt off of my vehicle. It would always look so great after I was finished cleaning it. I have been coming here for several years. I met the owner after a mechanical issue caused a hydraulic fluid spill on my car. No damage to the paint. Just a greasy mess. I called the number listed, and was told to come back immediately. I did this, and the owner personally scrubbed my car. Then gave me ten free car wash certificates that I made good use of. The reason for three stars is the fact that the car wash quality has gone way down. My recent car wash (today), hardly any soap came out. The wax was in short supply as well. This has been a regular occurrence lately. Not sure what the problem is. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon. read more

Terrible for pets. Pet wash station had no hot water. Washed 3 dogs without water getting hot or even luke warm. Will not return.

We decided to take both of our dogs over to the Pet Wash since our dogs are bigger it would be less hassle. We were excited to be able to wash our dogs without breaking our backs. First time at this place. We get there, put them in the tub and find out there's nothing but cold water coming out of the faucet. Cold water to the point where you could not wash the animals. Needless to say we wasted $2 in quarters for 1 minute to find out there was no warm water for these poor dogs, so we left. Going thru a cold car wash is one thing, a cold dog wash is completely different. Why isn't this place checked on from time to time to make sure everything is running properly? I would not recommend taking your dogs to this place. Very upset that we drove out there especially to do this-Not happy! read more

In a pinch i still go there but good luck if the machine screws up and won't open the door after your payment. There's no attendant most times and the website is awful. The only saving grace to this place is they don't use brushes which can scratch and dull the finish on your car. Great place to get undercarriage sprayed off from road salt etc... read more

One of the best automatic touch less washes around. Even after all these years it has been here it is still kept nice and really does a good job. The highest price wash is ten bucks which is good. Lots of places are charging upwards of fifteen nowadays for a wash that is only half as good. It does take a while to complete the ultimate one so if it is a busy day and there are a ton of cars you WILL be there a while! read more

The dog wash here is pathetic. The water trickled out, there was no shampoo, the water was cold. It's also for two dogs, so it's hard to work if there's another dog in the area. Save your time and your money. Go to the nearby classic car wash on Winchester Pike. This was our second stop and it worked much better! It still has two dog wash bins though. Our s high car wash was great with one bin and a locking door, but it appears to be closed. read more

I love Captain Carwash! It is always so clean. I had been tired of going to car washes with dirty parking lots and overfilled trash cans. Even when the lines are long, I've been able to get through the carwash in a reasonable amount of time. The air fresheners and cleaning supplies are great quality and always stocked. This used to be a 5 star car wash! I have been using this location for as long as it has been in business. When Captain Car Wash first opened, the wash was awesome! My car would be sparkling clean! The past 5 years have NOT been so good! My car still looks dirty every time I come out of the car wasH, even after purchasing the $11 premium wash!! I have continued to support this local car wash because I live in the area. I can no longer justify my actions. I once complained about the wash I received to the owner, and was given a "free" wash. The owner was very defensive, but still tried to make my experience "ok" by sending the free wash. I debated on whether or not to use the free wash because I was really wanting the owner to take to heart the honest complaint I had, and just fix the machinery. I waited 3-4 months before I used the free wash, hoping when I took my car through the touchless wash it would actually be clean. It wasn't!! I have periodically taken my car through the touchless wash during the past 5 years, and same results....a DIRTY car EVERY TIME!! Very disappointing!
