I am a real person and these are real accounts of my experience…read more Yanna and Ms. Karen are absolute rockstars. I have paid up to four times than what I paid at IIOC for a 'less-than' result. I'm the type of person who does things like hair last minute because, on my days off, I have a lot to do (but I'm also an antsy person and I know it takes long). It. Was. Worth. It. When I called to make an appointment, they told me "walk-in's only on Saturday" so, naturally, I was there at 7:59AM expecting a line at the door. To my surprise, I was pleasantly greeted, taken to a chair within minutes and immediately consulted. Calling all humans with hair: go here. A lot of people are intimidated by the idea of going to get their hair done by anything less than a 'professional'. Good for them, go pay $80 for a trim. Prior to this, my best result was with a woman down south who taught hair at a cosmetology school before making the coveted leap to an "upscale" salon. She was awesome. I only have the one experience with Ms. Karen and Yanna, but Ms. Karen was very attentive the entire time. was truly involved in the teaching process and really understood what I wanted. (I'm not basic.. lol) Yanna comes from a long line of barbers and hair stylists. She is going to be one of the greats, because she cares. THIS is the best my hair has ever looked. Shout out to Becca too for helping with the foils and the color on the front hairline. Sure, my full foil took a little longer that usual, so if you aren't patient, bring a book and chill the F*ck out. Just mentally prepare yourself. I'd say it's like Padawan's learning from Jedi. This was years ago. Second complaint another student left me while she went to the Finance office and Miss Karen was livid about it. Third complaint was a few weeks ago. I had asked for low and high lights and ended up with grayish tones throughout my hair so upon calling that Monday to ask if they could fix it, Miss Marie told me it's a school and I said what does that have to do with anything so I went in on Thursday and they put a blonde toner in and of course it was better than nothing compared to the way I left so beware if you even speak up about the service because you're not pleased, you will be asked to never come back, this is very unprofessional and if it's a school, then the students would have to learn just as if they worked in a real Salon, etc.. I had never left a review before because I didn't think it was necessary. I thought the School was handling it, but then I was told they were taking notes about me very childish and unprofessional upon trying to call the owner Mr. G who owns a very successful business in Rocky Hill he never returned my phone calls just had his reception take information and never got back to me! I also left an email for Martin G and he never responded. I'm not the first do your due diligence and gore reviews all over other platforms. However, the staff here is really technique driven which is something I was not used to in previous classes. I love that they encourage elegance on the pole not just sexiness, Which again is something different from my Past experience with Pole classes. the club is affordable and educational. love that they have two locations. I'm not the biggest fan of the location in Hartford. However, it is more convenient than having to drive to Springfield. I did notice that the poles at the gym are not in front of the mirrors which makes it hard to check your form or your technique. I'm someone who likes to see myself when I'm learning. I also would love to see them add additional poles along with more mirrors, I do not like to share a pole in a learning environment. I feel like it takes away from my paid for hour but I do enjoy the open pole classes when I can make it. This place is definitely worth a shot if your interested at all in breaking your curiosity with the art of pole dance.

The owner Laura, made everything fun and uncomplicated and gave me tips which I could incorporate into other sewing projects. Sarah, one of the other instructors, recently gave me a private lesson to help with a zipper project, and again my experience was amazing. They make sewing fun and non-stressful and offer many awesome projects to do in workshops for all levels. Completely disappointed in this driving school. We had a drivers test scheduled in the morning, and…read morethe DMV already instructs you to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This driving school informed us that they would arrive at the Wethersfield DMV to the dmv at 8:45 AM. The person delivering the car arrived LATE. WE arrived a whole hour early sitting in the parking, practiced, and waited patiently. We called the phone number provided MULTIPLE times and it went straight to voicemail. Not one single call back to reassure us that they would be arriving shortly or they were late. And lo and behold THEY SHOW UP in a car that was different from what my driver practiced in. Had the delivery person came earlier, that would've eased our worries by thousand. You can imagine that for a driver it's already very nerve wracking to take a drivers test for the first time in a new location. If you tell the student that the driver will arrive with the car at a certain time, the VERY least you can do is ARRIVE on time. That way the driver is given adequate amount of time to adjust the seat and mirrors to their liking. Or GIVE the student a call back! The man who delivered the car late, had the seat AND the wheel low and didn't care to tell my driver how to adjust the wheel. After the test, I told him I was quite displeased in him arriving after the time they told us. And he said he got the car in west Hartford and brought the car that they gave him. MIND YOU the DMV is 15 minutes away. If we PAID money for you to provide the vehicle, YOU should be getting to the dmv on time. You're a business and providing a service, DO YOUR JOB! What a shame! Prepare to work with people who well over charge! $700 dollars down the fucking drain. Interesting how much the school charges for 30 minute lessons and the so called quality cars they have you drive in. Do yourself a favor and work with NEXT STREET DRIVING SCHOOL. I worked with them in Danbury and had an excellent, non-anxiety inducing experience. Funnily enough, the car my driver practiced with passed US AS WE WERE LEAVING. The man who delivered the car tried calling us back. Do fucking better!

I took the Project Management Academy in person PMP class with Michael Einstein on 11/18-11/21/24…read more This course provided a great foundation for PMP test. The class was well structured and although there was a lot of material covered, it was both comprehensive and easy to understand. Michael had a deep understanding of the subject and provided many real life examples that helped clarify concepts. The handouts and online tools were a great addition to help study and Michaels friendly email encouragements after the course to keep studying were also beneficial. Overall, I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to achieve their PMP certificate.

Nerissia made sewing accessible and fun. The environment was very friendly, and I felt comfortable asking questions. We had multiple fun projects, including making a sweatshirt and a skirt. All the things we were taught have helped me do my own projects and have given me the confidence to take on my own sewing projects. Since the class, I can now read patterns, easily follow sewing videos on YouTube, and troubleshoot issues I may run into with my personal sewing machine!
