Capt Kevin was spectacular. He is a VERY experienced instructor. He knows how to present information in a clear, concise, and entertaining manner (let's face it, some of the material is boring, but he spiced it up). He connected to the students and is very approachable. He highlighted all of the right things to make sure we all did well in the exam. They give you an hour and five minutes to complete the exam. It took me 18 minutes and I got a perfect score easily. For those of you that test poorly or are nervous testing then this is a perfect class. He will instill confidence in you and give you a ridiculously good understanding of the material. You can't go wrong. Honestly, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. read more

Mathieu Silbermann was an outstanding boating instructor. He did a phenomenal job keeping the class engaging the entire time by mixing humor with great energy, which made the material much more enjoyable to learn. You can tell he's extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and he explained everything in a way that was clear and easy to understand. What could have been a long class actually flew by because of how well he kept everyone involved. I left feeling confident in what I learned and genuinely glad I took the course. If you have the chance to take a boating class with Mathieu, I would highly recommend it. He's a great instructor. read more

Coming into this class with basic safety knowledge and no boating experience, I have been prepared for the safest boating trip possible! Captain Kevin has covered all topics in detail to make for an absolute understanding of the material! The entire 8 hours were jam packed full of information at a steady pace. We were properly prepared for our final test, passing with a 98%! I will refer any friends and family to be sure they are also set up for boating/PWC safety success! Captain Kevin taught the course I registered for. Throughout the 6 hours of our Zoom he was very well spoken, to the point, and very engaging, welcoming questions and cracking jokes across the class runtime. Everything in the course was easy to understand and was presented in a very organized fashion. The one criticism I have is the test. All the questions are based off of info discussed in the course, but I wish there was a way to see the answers we got wrong or review our results when we pass to look over the material again. Captain Kevin is not only a knowledgeable captain but a great teacher. Walked away from that class flush with knowledge and ready for the water. Everything was well presented and fun. The course never felt stale or preachy always having good time. Captain Richard is a great instructor/teacher. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Although he is very professional about his job does not mean he is boring. He throws out a bunch of lame jokes that are so lame they are funny. He as well tells a bunch of true stories that are good to know about. Last Spring, I took a boat safety course with Capt. Kevin to obtain the "Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation". He was very effective at teaching in a way that makes you easily remember what he covers. At the end of the course you take an exam to get your certificate, and I scored a 100%. read more
