The food was pretty good. We ordered fried pickles and ate those while we there - they were good but we prefer a little less breading and thicker pickles. I definitely like the slices over whole spears, but theirs seemed a little thinner than typical hamburger pickle slices. To go, we ordered the cheeseburger with candied bacon with a side of mac and cheese, and an additional side of the smashed potato salad. The burger was great and the candied bacon was delish (I could have eaten a whole pile of it). The mac and cheese was good too. I was a little disappointed in the smashed potato salad though - sorry, but it just didn't seem like "potato salad" to me - it was straight up just their smashed potatoes with boiled eggs in it. Anyway, I adore potato salad and was intrigued enough to try it, but I don't think I'll be getting it again. Overall though - a nice place that I'm sure we'll be visiting again soon.
