This place has the worst service. I have been here 3 times now this summer alone. Each time. Takes 20 mins to get a water or a drink. 2nd time i was here server gave us the wrong food. This time i didnt event get my food.... "Oh i rang it in but with the rain things got a bit nuts" I dont understand how the other 6 people at my table got their food and mine was just "forgot" on the line. Would have been nice for her to even notice when the food came out. But she didnt even check on us one the food hit the table until about 35 mins later. No napkins, no ketchup. Nothing given to us on the table. Had to borrow it from other patrons who were receiving much better service. Save your money. Go some where else on the lake . Done read more

The place is easy to get to by boat if your on the Chain. Indoor and outside seating Dj's and bands add to the festivities. Larry the owner is always a pleasure to talk to very avalible and a hands on owner. The bar staff are energetic and always a hoot. You can also get there by car via Grass Lake Rd. and Ackerman then left on Bolton. I highly recomed this place during the summer on any given weekend. Great patrons as well. read more

This is a nice little bar on the Lake with good pub grub and drink specials. I'm going back!

Love the atmosphere the smoking hot waitress that probably have a second job as Victoria secret models and oh yeah the food is great too. (My favorite is the bloodymarys on a sunday) Definitely a must visit and bring your friends, kids are welcome aswell. They have a big playground, basketball, volleyball aswell, pool table. read more

Last night went to Captains Quarters for the first time, and the LAST! We waited 45 for the bartender/waitress to come take our order after several trips to the bar. There were four of us at our table and maybe 16 people throughout the deck bar and outside tables. Over 45 minutes later our 3 orders of wings and a grilled cheese sandwich were brought to the table. There were plain wings, hot wings, and bbq wings ordered. I've had better wings out of the freezer from Tyson. The bbq sauce was drizzled on the wings as if it was an after thought. No flavor to the plain wings! The bartender had the excuse that she sent home the wait staff at 4:30 due to being "DEAD". Really @ 4:30 you send staff home due to lack of patrons? There are numerous restaurants in the area with superior service and food. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! read more

I come here often and the food is usually top notch for bar food but we had a super crappy waitress named Wendy. She was rude and got my order wrong. She checked on us once the entire hour we were there and we waited so long we went to the bar and acquired our own beverages. My Mai tai was disgusting and they're usually good here. The band was awesome and is the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars. Hey captains... Get it together! read more

I couldn't help but post. I'm not a regular, but have always had good service, and good food here. Some of the posts for this place are ridiculous. If you don't like the outdoors in summer or like to occupy tables off six and spend less than $20, stay away. Otherwise a great place, good people. read more

We love this place! It's easy to get to by boat or car and everyone is so nice! Larry (owner) takes the time to get to know every one and even though he is incredibly busy, always finds the time to stop and talk to you. They built a beautiful new play area for the kids and a new concrete patio area for eating and drinking. Love the Fresh corn on the cob too! I've read other reviews with people making some negative comments, but people have to realize... this is a bar. It has bar food. It's not a gourmet restaurant. The atmosphere is fun and the music is great. The staff works very hard to make sure everyone enjoys their visit whether you are 2 or 99. read more

Always enjoy going here. However, while my husband and I were eating lunch last Sunday at the outside bar, the bartender (not very inviting at all) was smoking behind the bar and the servers were smoking at the server station. Not only was it disgusting, it was rude! Terrible business move on the owners behalf. read more

The food was not terrible for the price, the drink was watered down but not too pricey either, however the waitress Crissy B was rude through the whole visit, and had our credit card for about 15 minutes, and was serving other people before bringing our credit card back, when we politely mentioned that when you have someone's money you should being it back first, she started getting an attitude with us and dismissed us from the restaurant, this is a great way to lose customers. read more

The outdoor seating is very nicely arranged. The food is good and consistent. The waitress was good even though she was busy. Overall I would say it's a great place to stop on the boat and eat and grab some drinks. None of the place is air conditioned so the bathrooms get really hot and sticky. read more

This place is the absolute best!! They always have affordable drink specials, plenty of live music, and and very comfortable safe environment to relax and have a drink or two. I will say this about the staff. I have never seen a staff member act rude to any customer that showed them the respect they deserve. The staff very hard in very hot weather sometimes, but they are always working to keep the customers happy. I am now a regular here because my wife absolutely loves this place, and she loves the live music and the people to go here. read more

We have eaten here before on the cheap wing night and for the Pirate Cruise and it was good. We came on a Wednesday night recently. There were only 2 waitresses which was not enough to serve the customers inside and outside. Even though service was slow it was not her fault. Menus had obviously been sitting in the rain for a long time and were wet and damaged. There were ants all over the tables and chairs which ended up crawling on us due to the fact that food is not cleaned off tables or the ground. We were not the only ones to let the waitress know the water and cokes tasted bad. So she brought us cans which we didn't mind (until the bill of $2.50 per can!). Our food took forever and we almost left because at one of the other tables one of the servers, who wasn't working that night, put her order in and was able to go get it herself before we even got ours and we were there before them. It was burger night and they were super thin and raw (cheap frozen patty). Pizza puff was just ok. Bathrooms were disgusting!!! Full of garbage, waste and toilet paper. Both inside and outside bathrooms had no toilet paper. Server didn't seem to care when we let her know. When we paid the bill I brought it up to the bar because our server disappeared. I told him she busted her ass and I thought this was better. He finally came out from behind the bar to help the only 2 servers. This place has fallen to the bottom of our list of places to eat at on the lake which is sad because it's a nice atmosphere. read more

Our table observed a group that brought a bottle of their own wine and began to open it. The manager (owner?) came over like a mad hornet and started going off on them about the rudeness of them doing this.. One lady apologized right away and said she was told she could BYOB and immediately put the bottle away. He continued to rant about him paying for the band and running a business and asked if they had a brain. Granted, it wasn't cool for them to do this, but they backed down right away and seemed sorry for upsetting him. We just thought it a little over the top and not very professional for him to do this - it's not like it's the Ritz or anything considering the picnic tables and all. Their group ended up staying and buying overpriced beers and some food, but I would have taken off after that dressing down. Bathrooms inadequate for size of the crowd. read more
