When you walk in, you get a modern take on an old-time ice cream shop. The red and white checkered floor, the 1950s and 1960s ice cream shop menu offerings, and the rockabilly music on the sound system. I ordered a Harry Belafonte, which is basically a vanilla milkshake with diced up fresh banana. The young man was willing to swap the soft serve vanilla ice cream for chocolate at my request. The milkshake comes out quite thin, but with a nice flavor. The milkshake however what six dollars, which I found too expensive for what I got. Then I got an orange dreamsicle soft serve ice cream. The young man struggled to explain that the base was a vanilla ice cream and they put in some sort of orange powder. This definitely was not worth $4 is the flavor was kind of orange creamsicle and kind of chemical. The shop is super clean, has a really wonderful five.
