I most recently took a lamp over to have a shade fit. They are very knowledgeable in pairing size and shape of a lampshade to the type of lamp you have. Last year, I also brought them a 1930's lamp where the pull chain mechanism had frozen up. In searching through their comprehensive supply of vintage parts, they actually found an original 1930's part to replace The one in the lamp, so that it matched its mate. Everyone there is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend using them, as quality shops like this are going to vanish if we don't patronize them.

"hi I'm Marty Meldrum" Looked at my sockets, assessed the trouble. 3-way $18 Single $15 I inquire how many days? Would you like a deposit? Niether if you've got 10-12 minutes, I'll get done now. ( I told him I was from Utica) Or he's that good? Sat in my car as not to hover. Less than 11 minutes later he comes outside waves me in. Showed me the finished repairs. Suggested some high quality, low heat plastic bulbs. ( yes plastic bulbs well I'll be!) I asked how long has this place been around? M&M 75 years shortly! Joshua was responsive and gave us an estimate right away, which was better than others businesses. He stopped by the next day. We told him we swapped out the entire guts of the tank. He didn't replace anything and made some adjustments with the existing guts in the tank. It was still leaking out of the flapper a while afterwards. I texted him to see when he would becoming back, since he had told my husband when he was called after the leak continued that he would come back the next day. He replied back that he would be back on Thursday or Friday. Josh stopped by afternoon on Thursday. He replaced all of the guts and stayed to make sure there was no further leaking before cleaning up and leaving. It's all working after the second visit. Josh is professional and gets the job done.

He then identified several openings where animals or birds were getting into my attic and gave me an estimate to plug them, which I agreed to. He did plug the openings and also sprayed repellant around those areas. I have not heard activity in the attic since so it looks like it worked. Very pleased. I would gladly hire him again should any suitable job show up.
