We bought a vehicle from this dealership. We've had nothing but problems, eg: replace 1 system just to have another go out. When confronted about the poor quality of the vehicle, Steve became combative and threatened to physically harm my husband. They then proceeded to play games by refusing to give him a receipt for this month's payment. They attempted to physically throw him out of the office without said receipt. I strongly advise ALL car shoppers to AVOID this car lot. Once you've driven the car off the lot, they don't want to hear from you, unless you're making a payment. They claim that their cars undergo a 37 point inspection. I find this extremely difficult to believe, since we've had to replace every system on this vehicle, including the fuel and cooling systems. They claim that they are retiring, but we have doubts about that too. Anthony and Steve have been completely dishonest and have made no attempt to show that they care at all about good references or repeat business. Being in customer service myself, I am appalled at their overtly insulting and outright threatening demeanor. We give this business zero stars. Don't do it, you'll be sorry! read more

My experience was an odd one. Didn't step foot into the dealership but was communicating through text and the guy Anthony that was texting me is a weird dude. I asked for their best otd price and he just states what I can clearly see on their ad. It gets weird when I tell him I'm shopping around and also looking at private party sales. He then proceeds to send weird emojis. Not very professional and then tells me I should look at something more within my budget. I never said what my budget is and the car is valued at 2-3.5k on KBB but market valued at 3-5k car that they're listing for 6k. Cmon now it's not that expensive. I'd pay it all in cash. Very insulting and I'm glad I didn't make the 30 min drive out there. I'd avoid this place, there's nothing easy or friendly about it. read more

I was referred to Car Cage Motors by some friends who had purchased vehicles there. I was hesitant at first, but I'm happy to say that Car Cage has given me one the best car buying experiences I've ever had. - They weren't pushy - They didn't tell lies - They didn't follow me around the lot They are selling used cars, so of course they want to make sure that the customers have enough income to make the payments. They are a "Buy Here Pay Here" car dealership. They handle all of the financing themselves, and don't deal with a bank. So it's a whole lot different than going to one of the bigger car dealerships. I honestly, prefer this since I hate most banks. I see that one person on Yelp said she wanted to put $500-$600 down. If you go to a bigger car dealership and ask if you can put $500 down they will laugh you out of the office. So don't try that crap here. Don't be so cheap. My car had a $4500 price tag on it. I put $2000 down, and paid the car off in about 3/4 months. Over 1 year later and the car is still running great. As of now, I've purchased two cars here (one for me and one for my dad), and both of those cars are still running great. I drive mine on the freeway to work every day.. Some of the reviews are saying that they are racist... I don't see how that can be, since I'm a black guy. Perhaps the older man who seemed racist before is gone/dead now? Who knows, but they definitely aren't racist. They wouldn't have my business if they were. My friends who bought cars here are also black too. To me, these seem to be honest guys. Zero stars. Went here to purchase a car for my grandmother, I should have went with my gut feeling and passed. A few weeks after purchasing the car the engine light came on. It went off after awhile but it came back a few months later and this time so did the non functioning brakes. From the beginning the brakes were hardly working but my grandma doesn't drive much so never made a fuss until it got to this state. We took it in to a trusted mechanic and they let us know the rear brakes (put on by this car dealer's mechanic) were put on backwards and causing damage and rubbing against other parts, which was stopping from the brakes being fully operable. I called to let Anthony know so he could avoid it from happening in the future and he acted like I wanted a refund or something. NO SIR just letting you know so you can ensure that your mechanics do their job correctly and can offer a safe reliable car to your customers. He was less than apologetic for the mistake, in fact he became irate and even laughed at the fact my grandma (who is on SSI and limited income btw) had to pay over $400 to get this corrected. Who laughs at someone else's misfortune, especially since it could have been avoided if you would have done the original brakes correctly? The only thing funny is this joke of a place and owner! My husband and I just left this car lot looking for a used second car. We were approached by a salesman who appeared friendly and was willing to help. My husband explained to the gentleman that it was up to me, his wife what we chose. I began to explain to the gentleman that ideally we would like to put $500-$600 down. He ignored me and continued to speak with my husband. He told us with good credit we could but if not we would need more. Understandable. I told him that my issue was I didn't want to finance a car and have it break down a week or so later. Because I have before and ended up upside down in a loan. He went off on a tangent about how it was our responsibility to take care of the car. I started to tell him that I'm aware of that but that I didn't want to invest in a car that had several issues to begin with. He cut me off. I came here and purchased a car and the transaction was relatively quick and painless. I was in and out mainly because I knew what I was looking for and already well versed on the car's common malfunctions and quirks which made me more confident on what I was purchasing. I had traveled quite some distance to purchase this car and, well, I didn't receive the best service. The owner's (if i recall correctly) sons were polite and friendly, but the owner pretty much gave me the, "you either want or you don't" attitude. I understand that this business can get frustrating with everyone haggling on the price and having a preconceived perception that the salesman is only out to get you, but this is where it's your job as the business man to change that experience. The car wasn't exactly priced within market value, but it wasn't completely inflated either. I was willing to pay the cost considering how long I had been searching for this very specific vehicle. (THIS IS WHERE I DOCKED A STAR) I would have gladly given this place 4 stars, but I docked them because they ran my credit without informing me. I paid in cash so there was absolutely no reason to run my credit. They used the "patriot act" reference to obtain information to do so which I understand they are in fact obligated to retrieve, but again there was no reason for the check. I take accountability for obviously not noticing this in the process or sooner. While this may not matter to some, it may be of significance to others. Overall, this is very unethical and would just advise others to be aware and ensure they don't do so when purchasing their car. REMEMBER: If you're not financing the car through the dealer and or you're paying in cash, they do not have the right to run a credit check so don't consent to it. read more

Worst car expirence i have ever had. They pride themselves on 30 years of great service, it seems like 30 years of screwing people over. Anthony helped me out sold me a car knowing there was something wrong. When I went in with my issues instead of helping me they were to busy trying to sell other cars, there only in for money in there pockets.I asked for a refund he talked down to me like I was a child. I went through there bullshit for over 2 months of them saying they were trying to help me and "fix" the car. I've even went in when They said it was fixed and it wouldn't even start up.I had a mechanic look at it to make sure the car was ok after it was "fixed" for the fourth time, to find out they had wires loose that could of caused the car to blow up. They have the worst customer service. Their shady as hell. Do not go to car cage unless you want a headache. This place is great I've had my car since Feb. Of 2015 and it has been a beauty so far. I love that they give you 30 days in case anything happens they fix it. The first week I got the car my check engine light came on and they fixed the problem and ever since then its been great!!
