Quality came to the rescue again! I will always remember how good Quality treated me and how they have went above and beyond for me. My Nefu was shopping for a car and couldn't get approved ANYWHERE. As soon as he told me I immediately said you have to go to Quality Auto Sales they seriously work magic over there. Well, we went in and had he had no hope (except for some places that said they'd in-house him with a huge down payment) as he had been denied everywhere. Quality came to the rescue! They also offered buy here pay here, but they got him financed with a bank and even wiped down the car I got from them when we were waiting. The team there is the best from their cars, selection, service, warranties (which saved me a ton of money a year after I got my car). My credit is excellent now thanks to them and my Nefu is now on his way to rebuilding them. Seriously these guys are a different breed. A totally different experience than other dealers. I purchased a vehicle from these guys. It took over three weeks for me to get this vehicle. Register running back-and-forth to the dmv. Because of bogus, paperwork. They had the nerves that tell me to give them a good rating in 5 stars. So I would not believe these stars that they getting on these ratings. I was promised a key to be made. I never received that key. They gave me the run around. They would not answer calls or texts. Please do not trust these guys. Once I finally got to call register, I had to pay an extra $230 for tags. I took my son to Quality Auto Sales to help him with the purchase of his first car. This was way back in early September. We ended up purchasing a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from them. Fortunately the car appears to be running okay. During the purchase transaction, the closer/finance person tried to sell us an overpriced extended warranty. He was very persistent that we purchase it. I did a quick Google review of the extended warranty company while I was at the dealership. I found that they had horrible, horrible reviews. In fact, they had a F-rating on with the Better Business Bureau. His response to me when I informed him of this rating was "well you know people like to complain." Of course I turned down the overpriced, seemingly worthless, extended warranty. It is now December 28th and my son and I have still not received our California license plate for the car we purchased from Quality Auto Sales. We have called Quality Auto Sales several times to find out where the plates are. They either have never called us back or didn't seemed to be interested in dealing with our issue. We spoke with them again today. After calling them twice. We informed them that the current temporary registration/plates will expire on Monday. Their response was that our plates were sent out in November. When we called in Quality Auto Sales in November, they never informed us of this. Again today, they quickly cut off our call because they had to "answer the other line." Your importance to Quality Auto Sales seems to diminish dramatically after the purchase. As a consumer, you certainly hope that you receive good treatment post-transaction. Unfortunately, we just seem to be a bother to Quality Auto Sales at this point. Even on an important issue such as an auto registration. Now we are left having to scramble over to DMV on Monday to extend our temporary registration/plates. He was especially attentive in helping me understand the car's rather complex navigation system and connection with a phone's Bluetooth audio system. I bought a nice 2012 Mercedes C250 for a great price. This was the first car I've financed in many years and my credit union created numerous hurdles despite being "pre-approved" by the credit union. I stopped by quality Auto sales this afternoon in order to test drive and check a vehicle to see if I was interested in buying it. upon requesting a test drive, the salesman returned from his office and told me that the manager had stated that I was not allowed to test drive the vehicle unless I was committed to buying it today. I left the dealership and called back a short time later in order to speak to the manager. when I asked what the policy was on test drivers vehicles there, he could not give me a clearly defined policy. He said that it was on a case-by-case basis. I asked why I had not been able to test drive a car earlier. He could give me no clear explanation as to why. When I asked if this was because I am African-American, he can still out give me a clear explanation or reason for his decision earlier. this incident for me was very offensive, hurtful and I feel as though it was racially motivated as well. Well Just a little update! When I got my car I was told several times that if I referred people, friends or family and they bought a car from Quality Auto...I would get a referral fee of $150!! So because of the excellent service I referred a whole lot of people! One friend bought a car and then the shit show began! They stopped being professional, stopped returning calls even let her drive car for almost a month without secured financing(so they told me) just to stall on giving me the referral fee!! One guy even had the nerve to question that my referral was legitimate! Great people, eager to help! I was in the market for a small commuter car. The sales person Mike was easy going and made no effort to push me in any direction. They then recomended a loan company which was almost 1.5% lower then the pre approval I had received from wells Fargo. The whole experience was great. I would not say that I like the car buying experience however it went smooth and I was able to pick up a Honda civic for a great price. We upgraded to a family car right before the birth of my son last year. I can't remember the name of the sales associate, but he had prior military experience and was really passionate about helping our family out with my husband being in the military. It was one of the easiest and smoothest car purchases I've ever been apart of. Best yet- they sold us an extended warranty on our Chevy equinox. Fast forward to our first Christmas as a family. As my husband is following my son and I to the children's hospital in Sac, the car starts doing some funky stuff, and ends up lurching to a halt. He's able to get it to a mechanic who helps him eek it back home from Sac to Beale, and we take it in to a Chevy dealer to get the news- it needs a brand new engine. Thank goodness for that extended warranty- we were able to get the replacement engine fully paid for with 8 days to spare on our warranty, saving us about $8k!!! If you're coming here on a Sunday make sure you call first. Their website and Yelp shows they are open but turns out sometimes they aren't. They used their caller ID to call me back on Monday when they saw I called. I specifically asked about Sunday and they said for the past few Sundays they were closed. Friendly on the phone. I met my husband and test drove the vehicle we found on TrueCar. They offered a discount off the already good price according to TrueCar-but we didn't get into that side of things. Also they only have 1 parking space and 1 HC space. So I had to park at the lot next door. It's not the safest area and a lot of "rough" people wondering around. So lock your cars. Several of their trucks had tailgates stolen the evening before we came(which they were working on replacing). The vehicle we test drove was in ok shape. Had a messed up tire rim, slow responding heat/defrost system, messed up volume on the stereo, and a mismatched rear window. The body had a few dents but nothing terrible. It was a 12 year old vehicle with low mileage. But seemed it hadn't been well cared for. My biggest concern is the salesman knew nothing about the type of financing they offer. Minus 1/2 star for being closed when the website said otherwise, and 1/2 for knowing nothing about the financing. One star for good pricing, being willing to replace the missing tailgate at no cost to customer and for being nice and not pushy. read more
