Everytime I've came here they have been friendly and helped me with whatever issue that my car has had. The Car Care Center has saved me a few times on the way home from work as it just seems to be that's when my cars have wanted to have the lights turn on so I've came here to get them checked out and each time they have taken care of it and gotten me back on the road! If you're a Cast Member you do get a discount here on service so definitely make sure to show them your id! Overall this really is a hidden gem in the hart of Walt Disney World that's always down to help those in need! read more

I've only been here to drop off and/or pick up rental cars, but no complaints. There's always employees around to help so I never have to wait too long. They will also give you a complimentary shuttle to anywhere on Walt Disney World property, which is nice. I usually don't take advantage of it, but when I do I've never had to wait long and drivers are friendly. There's also a gas station right next door, which is handy if you've forgotten to fill up your rental car's tank before dropping it off. I believe they recently renovated the interior; I haven't been inside since they've done that but hopefully it was an upgrade (it was a little 'dreary' inside before). I can't comment on price since I've never had a service here, but it's super convenient if you're staying on/near WDW and need a rental car. read more

I recently drove down to Disney in a rental car that I picked up a few days before from the airport. MCO is an actual nightmare, so I was thrilled to see I could drop off my rental on Disney property before beginning my vacation. It was a little tricky to find due to some construction that messed with my GPS, but it is tucked away behind Magic Kingdom and a gas station. Once I found it, I parked my rental in a clearly marked spot and was greeted by a cast member who promptly helped me check the car back in and get on my way. Once the car was sorted, I was put on to a complimentary shuttle that dropped me off at my resort's door. The entire process took about 20 minutes from the time I parked to the time I got on the shuttle back to my resort. Beats the airport every time! read more

My car was having some issues. I took it to this location which is operated by Action Gator/Mavis Tire. They charged me around $100 for a diagnostic, and quoted me $1837.61 for repairs. These prices seemed excessively high. I asked if anything could be done to help with the price. They said they could waive the diagnostic fee if I moved forward with repairs. I called around and was able to find a competitor the following day. Their quote for the same concerns was only $663.80. Im glad I did not move forward with service at this location. Almost every location I called in town quoted me half the price or less. This location does offer a 10% Cast Member discount, but even with the discount prices are still extremely high. read more

On my way to work at Disney I picked up a nail in my tire. When I got out of work, my tire was completely flat. We changed the tire to a donut and that too was low on air. I somehow limped it over to the Car Care Center and prayed that they would be able to help me. It wasn't looking good but Nick the store manager and Kobe the Tech went above and beyond and saved me from being stranded. I can't begin to express how grateful I am. I found a nail in my tire. I really needed to get it fixed quickly, as I had to take my daughter to a doctor's appointment. I called another local car center and they were unable to help me out. I called the Disney Car Care Center and spoke with Colby. He suggested two options for me: patching my tire or replacing it. The other car place didn't even mention patching it. They said that they had my tire in stock and that they would be waiting for my arrival. As soon as I got there, they knew exactly who I was. They were able to inspect my car quickly and noticed that I had two nails in two different tires. I had authorized them to go ahead with replacing my tires if patching wasn't an option. They went ahead and patched both tires since the tread was still so good on them. They could have replaced the tires to have gotten more money but chose to patch them instead. Alayna, one of the employees, kept me updated on what was going on with my car. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. Additionally, she seemed to understand that my time was valuable and that I had to get my daughter to her doctor's appointment. My tires were patched up and good as new with plenty of time to spare to get to the doctor's appointment. The service that I received was impeccable. Colby and Alayna were both friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed to care about helping me. They were also able to fix my tires in less time than I had anticipated. Additionally, they seemed to value me as a customer. I did not at any time feel that they were trying to add on any unnecessary services. I will definitely return to the Walt Disney World Car Care Center in the future. read more

Had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road near N old lake Wilson road. I went to the local Walmart and asked for assistance with replacing the value stem only with the tire off the vehicle they told me to wait 3 hours. I called two other tire shops and they said told me 1 hour. I finally called the Car Care Center and was lucky to get Moody on the phone. He said come right over and was able to get me in and out in less than 10 minutes. If you need and car help near Disney don't waste any time just go to Car Care Center and they will take care of you! read more

SCAMMERS Add me to the list of victims. Car was dripping coolant. Had my brakes checked at the same time since sounded like metal on metal. Was quoted 1700$. Was told that I needed new brakes and rotors . I've ​asked ​to ​replace only the pads just so I could get home and do the work myself. They told me the disc were too thin which I knew they were not. ​So decided to forgo the brakes with the plan of changing the pads myself in a parking lot. Quote got down to 1100$ after taxes, still very expensive. Was told the radiator was 400$, needed two hoses (40+80$) because they were dry rotted and starting to seep. Plus radiator cap, coolant and labor. They quoted me labor at 109$ or 119$/h, can remember. Checked the price of the parts online at rockauto.com and they were half the price of the quote delivered the same day. Went to pick up my car after the radiator was replaced. Total 1300$. What??? Was told 1100$ after taxes. I had requested them to keep the parts so I could inspect them. The hoses were not dry rotted at all. Still very flexible and in good shape. After arguing a bit and being told other silly reason they replaced the hoses I got them to not charge me for the hoses, but the total was still 1262$ which I paid. Looked at the bill after paying, labor was 140$/h. That's a rip off. I should have recorded the calls I had with them. So, went to auto zone to get 40$ pads and went to a parking. Removed a wheel, looked at my brake pads, they still had more than 1/4 in on them, that's plenty and no way near metal on metal. That simply just pissed me off so much more. I hate going to a shop because I hear too many stories of untrustworthy mechanics and the hourly rates are ​just too much for me. This experience with DISNEY's car Care center is just so negatively unreal. How can DISNEY allow this. I wish I had look for the negative reviews ​instead of the thousands of good ones that were mostly just for tire is​sues. read more

They tried to charge me $2400 for a job that I took to a shop 15 minutes away where they charged me $640. They also charged me $90 to run a diagnostics test in which what they supposedly found was proven to be wrong at the shop that actually fixed the issue I was having. It is a shame that they get away with this just because they are so close to Disney. On top of all of the issues I had with this place, they charged my roommate over $1000 to fix her AC. It worked for 1 day before it stopped working. When she called to see what was up they told her there was nothing they could do & wouldn't refund her. RIP OFF ARTISTS Our family drove to Disneyworld from Brooklyn, NY (Roadtrip) - Stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time. Wife put a lot of mileage on the car in the 100-degree excessive heat during the 4th of July, fried out the alternator. I was driving and the car just died, luckily, adjacent to the "Reedy Creek Fire Services" station. We pulled over a Disney guest services driver named "Kelly" and in no time, there was Disney Security and an Ambulance blocking traffic to keep us and our car safe. The great firemen from The Reedy Creek Fire Station had us sit in an air-conditioned courtesy car, pushed our car onto their service road, called us a tow truck and even charged our phones! I have never seen so many different groups work together so efficiently and turn a horrible situation into a not so bad one... Thank you guys! I will never forget how awesome you all were to me and my wife! (The kids were at the pool with Aunts at the time, luck kids). THE WORST PART OF MY "DISNEY EXPERIENCE" : Our car was towed by a nice gentleman (thank you) to The Disney Car Care Center (1000 Car Care Dr, Orlando, FL 32830) They told us we needed a new alternator and battery which was a quite common problem there due to the heat. Since it was late in the afternoon, we had to wait till the next day for them to get parts. $850.00 FOR A MEDIOCRE BATTERY AND A REBUILT ALTERNATOR!!! - THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH MADE ME EXTREMELY UPSET WHEN I SAW THIS BILL!!! I know they get their parts from Napa Auto Center, and most likely at a discount, so I checked the prices: 130.00 for "The Legend" battery and 153.00 for the NAPA Power Plus Re-manufactured Alternator they put in. They charged me $440.00 for a rebuilt alternator, close to $200 dollars for the battery and 3 different labor fees and a warranty I didn't ask for!!! Look, I understand a garage has to do a mark up of prices and charge for labor, but this is ridiculous!!! It would take a regular mechanic and hour tops for the alternator and not even 40 min for a battery to install. 500, 600 dollars at best, and that's being generous, but 850 dollars? Just make sure your car is in proper working order before traveling in The Disneyworld compound... Or these guys will swindle you. That experience was very disappointing. read more

Tried to get them to remove a dead mouse from the cabin filter of my car- they said it had been severed, splattered all over, and it would cost me $1500 for them to remove it, replace a blower, and sanitize the system. They refused to just remove the carcass and replace the filter. Got myself a filter, removed the intact mouse with a pair of chopsticks, sprayed the vents with Lysol, and took it to another garage that charged me $84 to vacuum out the area and check the blower, which was fine. No odor coming from the system at all, like it was brand new. The staff is polite and friendly enough, but to me it seems like they didn't even really look at the situation. They also do not have any form of shuttle transportation unless you can get Alamo (next door) to take you back to your hotel. read more

We recently celebrated the new year by taking our grandaughter to Florida and a Disney Cruise. Due to the uncertanty of our Southwest flight being cancelled as so many were, we decided to drive from Illinois to Disney World where we would spend 2 days prior to our cruise.  After our cruise we picked up our car. When we started to drive, we heard a thumping noise in the left rear wheel area. We knew we couldn't attempt to drive back to Illinois with the car in it's current condition so we drove over to the Car Care Center near the Magic Kingdom. On our arrival we met with Manager Nick Hyzer who after hearing our plight immediately had a technician check our tires. After determining that the tires were fine he said he wanted to make sure the car was safe to drive to Illinois with our grandaughter and had the rear tire taken off and inspected the wheel bearings, hydraulics and diferential areas. He then determined that the car was safe to travel north and advised us to take it to our service station when we got home. Shortly after leaving the Car Care Center the thumping noise stopped and we drove home without incident. I recently had a nail pulled and plugged from one of my tires at a different business. Driving it home, I felt a ton of vibration like the tire was unbalanced. I had an appointment and couldn't take it back. At work the next day, I called the Car Care Center to see if they could take a look. If I was able to bring it soon, they could get me in right away. I left work and met with the manager. It was $10 to have it balanced. He had me pull it in right away. The mechanic stopped what he was doing and balanced it right there with me. The super fantastic part was the manager told me not to worry about it! What?? I was ready to pay, but both guys were so nice! I couldn't believe it. I'd go back again if I had any issues. Do not use the Car Care Center. Biggest crooks I've ever seen. My key was working and would try to crank, but engine wouldn't roll over. After doing some research, most likely with my Jeep it was a bad fuel pump. Get it sent to them and told them what I think the issue is. They say it's the ignition switch. Them being the experts, I said okay and proceed. Get a call saying it's fixed but now you need a new battery (didn't before). Cost, $300. I tell them I'll just get it towed back to my place and replace it. Get a call 10 minutes later, wait now it still won't work. It is the fuel pump. They lied to me and said the key wouldn't even move in the ignition (did so myself) so they fixed a problem that wasn't a problem, and now want to charge me $550 for the problem I told them it originally was!? Oh, and to work with me, they'll knock off $25. Shady, do not trust with your car. read more

I got 2600 dollars of work done on my Mini Cooper and it turns out they installed one of the parts incorrectly which has caused my serpentine belt to break and other parts as well. I am 950 dollars deep in repairing their crappy work. I will be calling them, but I doubt they'll do anything. I'm extremely upset and I wish I could do NO STARS. read more

This was my second visit. Both times, I was more than impressed by the polite professionalism of this place. I have had bad experiences at many dealerships and service centers in the area, but since I work for the Mouse, I decided to try our Car Care Center. Both times, they had me back on the road quickly. More to the point, while I was waiting in their very drab, plain waiting area (this could use some help), I saw Mike and his team treat everyone quite fairly. I saw them cover expensive repairs by contacting the warranty for the customer. I saw them check multiple tires for problems (a passing hurricane changed the barometric pressure in the area enough to trip many people's tire sensors) and did not charge anyone, which other service centers would have seen as a potential diagnostic gold mine. In fact, their diagnostics on my car showed me other service centers were outright lying to me. They confirmed I did not need repairs others insisted I did. Honesty is so rare in this world of automotive repair. Especially, in Orlando. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I started going to the Car Care Center for oil changes and apparently that's the only thing they can actually do correctly. The check engine light turned on my car and since i had already been for oil changes before without a problem I decided to go there again. Big mistake!! After three unsuccessful visits and more than a $1,000 of seemingly unnecessary "repairs", my car was still showing a check engine light within 24hrs of leaving the mechanic. So I decided to bite the bullet and take it to the dealership instead and the issue was resolved right away. Also, I'm not sure if this is relevant but on top of all of this, a few weeks later I realized that my windshield wiper fluid pump is now broken. Which of course could've been coincidental but a close friend had a very similar situation happen to her car after visiting the Car Care Center. read more

Shout out to the fabulous team at Disney's Car Care Center! Despite being scheduled to close within half an hour of my arrival to the center, the guys were incredibly accommodating, took my car into the garage right away, and looked at my issues immediately! I could absolutely see any other vendor telling me to come back another day because of the time, but they didn't even bat an eye and were more than willing to do anything they could to help! Denny and Cory were super friendly with a genuine spirit to serve and fixed one of the problems right on the spot, at no charge! To address the second problem, I needed a part replaced, but the vendor was closed by that time; Cory made it super easy and promptly called to give me the estimate, as requested, the next day, and even had it to me before noon! It can be intimidating to go to body shops and car places because it is hard to know when one is taking advantage of the customer, but I felt really comfortable and will definitely be returning for any future needs! read more

I called this place on Sunday after we arrived. I had a tire start to separate on the front of my truck while driving down to WDW from Atlanta. Needed to get stock availability and pricing on a pair of tires minimally, and to check the others. The guy I spoke to on the phone was not interested in helping me beyond today and with the only pair of tires they had in stock, of which brand I am not fond of. When I asked about what else would be available that we could maybe have taken care of on Tuesday morning thinking maybe we could get something ordered in and make an appointment to minimize downtime, the guy went into a rash of excuses about how Tuesdays are insane, not leaving him any time to work on the truck and that they would need it for hours and hours, oh my gosh so terrible of me to ask. I immediately took control of the call and explained that I was calling him today, to arrange something for Tuesday for that reason. He then abruptly took my name and number, saying he'd call back. I'm still waiting.... You treated me as an out of town visitor poorly, considering my career background was retail automotive aftermarket tire center management, having grown up in Florida, I was once a Tire Kingdom store manager under Chuck, and later moving to Atlanta and being a DM for Big 10 Tires. I understand how to be empathetic to a customers needs and this was not it. They clearly don't want out of town visitors business. read more

Brought our van in for a thumping sound in the wheel. They told us it needed lots of work. Although we'd just had it in to the dealer for service before heading to FL, with 1200 miles to drive home and not wanting to take a chance on breaking down somewhere in the middle of the night, we had the work done. Over $2200 later we brought it back to our hotel and the sound started again. So after all that money, the one thing we'd actually brought it in for was still not fixed! We took it back to the car care center and it turned out to be a plate behind the wheel that had rotted out. They removed it and the noise was gone. They told us our dealer should have seen the rotted plates when they serviced our van. What? Our dealer should have seen it during routine service, but they didn't see it when we'd brought it in specifically for a sound in the wheel? read more

Fine for simple, quick jobs if you're in need while you're at Disney I went there in October 2019 for an oil change, which they did in about an hour for a reasonable amount of money. While I was waiting, a couple in their 60s came in and I overheard the conversation. They were getting four new tires but they wouldn't be available to come back and get the car until after closing time. No problem, they left their credit card info and the guy behind the counter told them they'd leave the keys under the visor for them to pick it up. As they were leaving, he calls out to them to say that he's also going to check and see if it needs an alignment, and if it does, they're 'just going to do it, OK?' After all, they've left their credit card info. The couple nodded OK and left. My suspicions about this were confirmed when right after they left, he called me over. Apparently my serpentine belt was cracked and needed replacement. Total cost with labour about $150. He told me with a look of concern, that it should get taken care of since we have such a long drive home (true, to home in Canada was about 1,600 miles away). I told him I'd take my chances and they changed the oil and I went back to the resort. Problems: 1. The car is dealer maintained since it was sold. I'm it's second owner, I bought it from the dealer, I have all the maintenance records. No mention of a concern about the serpentine belt 2. Back at the resort I opened the hood and took a look. No cracking on either side 3. Back home in Canada at the next service interval I had the dealer techs check it in case I was wrong. There is nothing wrong with it. Conclusion - it was a weak attempt at a scam for a quick and easy repair that was not needed, to take advantage of the fact that since I had a long drive home I'd be risk-averse about the car. After all that's why I was getting the oil changed. Similarly, I expect that the couple ahead of me got that alignment job, which they likely did not need. So - go there for basic maintenance, know the state of your car before you go in. Expect them to try take advantage of you while you're far from home, distracted from your fun Disney vacation by the need to get your car fixed. read more

This is our go to place for tire issues. They are always so honest (I just heard him tell someone their issue wasn't critical and they could drive home and assess with regular mechanic). It's often busy since it's located in the Magic Kingdom parking lot but they give you an honest assessment of how long it will take. I find the prices reasonable (considering they are often dealing with desperate people with car issues ruining their vacation they don't take advantage). $28 for a tire patch. read more

If you have a breakdown in the Walt Disney World area, these people will come get your vehicle and get it running, but they will charge you. First time was a water pump, had to replace it about two years later at another repair shop for less than half what Car Care charged. Second time was during Irma, no other shops available. It was an electrical problem that proved to be difficult. They worked hard to fix the issue, went to a lot of trouble to find the parts needed. They kept close to the original estimate even though their costs were more. My vehicle is old, but I like it, but I will scrap it before I go back here. However, if you are in a bind with a breakdown at Disney, you can count on these folks to get you running. read more

My family and I visited Walt Disney World for Christmas, December 2018. While staying at one of the resorts, we discovered that we had a slow leak in one of our tires that needed to be repaired to get back home to California. We found the Car Care Center online and I called to make an appointment to have the tire repaired or replaced. Since it was the weekend and they don't take appointments on weekends, I simply drove over first thing when they opened. I think the gentleman at the front desk's name might have been Jerry. He couldn't have been nicer. He told me to pull my truck around back and a mechanic promptly got to work on testing my tire for the leak. Thankfully, the tire did not have to be replaced, only patched, and in about an hour, the work was complete and only cost $30. We made it back to California with no problems; the patch held beautifully and is still holding. While I waited, the gentleman was kind to offer coffee if I wanted it, and the waiting room was nice and clean. While I waited, I noticed that Jerry was constantly taking phone calls from other customers inquiring about work on their vehicles. He was polite and friendly, with not only the people in the waiting room, but with every person he spoke to on the phone. It was a positive experience, and I'm so grateful my family and I made it home safely with their great work. Thanks very much! read more

When my car battery died, my car was towed to Disney Car Care Center. They determined they needed to replace my alternator, battery cable, battery sensor and battery here. My personal mechanic said that was excessive and that I was overcharged but I just wanted the convenience of having it done, so I paid. 14 months later, the alternator failed again, and Car Care Center refused to help. They say it falls out of their 12-month window. I paid over $800 and now will have to pay $430 to replace it again just one year later. I will not go back to Car Care Center nor will I recommend it. read more

I'm an owner of a very reputable auto repair shop in Houston since 1993. Our cars are all very well maintained with over 100,000 miles on each of them. Wife and kids were at Disney June 2019 and rear brakes started grinding. We had done them at our shop 6 months prior with NAPA Parts. NAPA warranty said to get car repaired and they would reimburse us. At Car Care Center we were charged for a new brake hose and brake flush that we never approved. The service person said he had a witness that will say he gave us a price beforehand. BS! This place is exactly why the auto repair industry has such a bad name! Horrible establishment! My car was randomly going into reduced power and would not accelerate. CCC charged me $117.14 for computer engine diagnostic and found a faulty throttle pedal position sensor and voltage correctional switch. They quoted me $848 to repair. I decided to take it to the dealership to get a second opinion. The dealership reported no problems found/no codes found. It was a system update which didn't cost me anything. I returned to CCC with the dealership paperwork and Jerry Martinez refunded the $117.14. He had no explanation as to why they misdiagnosed the problem. Stay far-far away!!!! My car wouldn't start so I had it towed to this shop for free since I was on Disney property. Turns out my fuel pump needed to be replaced. The guys here told me that the fuse box would also need to be replaced. Understand that a fuel pump is a $200 part and most other places would charge $600-$800. After charging $60 just for a diagnostic they said it would be $1,800. So guess what, I got it towed clear across town for $100 and had another guy replace the fuel pump for $350. If you're on Disney property they will help you out but be wary of actually getting anything done here. read more
