Terrible experience. I had an appointment for tire rotation. In on time and was told it could be 45 min wait. There was only one person waiting who came in well after me and I waited 2 hours before finally leaving. Ridiculous. Will never go there again. Used them before and when fixing a tire, the not only did not fill tire to the proper pressure but did not put the cap back on the fill stem. A small detail but maybe an indication of the lack of interest then have in customer service. read more

Generally a very good experience. Got the brakes done in my car. They had a $99 per axle special (does not include rotors). You need to find this in their specials page (under the 'research' menu). I was able to make an appointment online and they actually call you to confirm the appointment - a nice touch. Service was very quick as I waited in the large clean waiting area. They performed a quick inspection that revealed some additional service required. However, I chose not to have that done. Be aware, they do not turn (smooth/grind) rotors, if you need rotors they will cost you. I was quoted over $400 per axle for my sedan. Fortunately I didn't need them. I still recommend for basic brake service. read more

I have brought both of my vehicles to this shop a couple of times, and never again. Between rude employees, to long waits with no answers, and even doubling and tripling prices that were quoted. This place is always trying to rip you off. I have given them multiple chances, and not anymore. Raymond and the team at Mavis Tires & Brakes were helpful, professional, and quick to get the car up and inspected. They double-checked all my lug nuts, confirmed everything was tightened correctly, and gave the car a clean bill of health. This place is a joke! First of all, they have Action Gator sign which they are not affiliated with Action Gator. Upon pulling in, some of the employees were screaming at each other using profane language. Check the lawsuits that have been filed against them. They told me my tread was too low, the tires are not worn at all. I would not recommend this place at all, go to a reputable company. read more

Worst tire experience ! Called ahead & confirmed they had the 2 tires we needed in stock @1130am. Truck was towed to the Bayside Lakes location in Palm Bay, FL approx 12pm. They told us about 2 hours - ok fine..so we wasted a Cpl hours and headed to the shop abt 2pm thinking it would be done or at least done soon. They didn't roll our truck into a bay until 5 pm!! No one worked on it until a few mins ago and they close in 5 mins. Just came out abd told us they don't have the right tires. Never ever ever use this place!! read more

Tulli and Tee have a great team. Highly recommend them as they go out of their way to assist you. My Goodyear Assurance tires needed replacing and so I went to Mavis tires on Redmond. Tulli gave me a great deal on exact replacement tires. When the new tires were installed, there were terrible sounds when driving. Took them back to the shop and Tulli drove the car and noted 2 tires had flat spots. They gladly replaced the two tires. A day later - the same issue occurs - long story short - Mavis replaced the four additional tires at no charge and got me into a great set of Michelin tires - Go to Tulli for service and avoid Goodyear at all costs. read more

I came in my only day off to get tires checked. I lived here a while but this was my first time coming to Mavis. Of course I needed two new tires. I knew it was coming soon but oh well gotta get it done. I ended up also needing an alignment. They got me everything I needed and he found some coupons online and got me to a reasonable price for everything I needed. I was in and out around 2 hours. Great service I will be back. Bought my tires from Mavis and got a nail about a month after.On there site it says tire repair.So I went and they told me they don't repair tires anymore(So why is it on your site?)That I would have to buy a new tire.I went to Discount tire and they fixed my tire in less than an hours.They also told me I needed some more extensive work I took my care to the dealership and didn't need the work done that they requested..You should be ashamed. read more

As an update, we went to another shop to look at our car for the brake issue, and it turns out one of the parts Mavis put in was a dud so that means they put a total of two dud parts in the car during our recent services with them. Mavis themselves only caught one. This was a very wild saga, especially after weeks of working with the team at this location to figure out what's wrong, it took another shop mere hours to find and address this issue. read more

I have been helped by the same person each time I need car service here at the Winter Garden Mavis. He let me know I can call him, "T". From our first interaction, he assessed my vehicle and did not charge me when he did not find anything wrong with it- unlike what other repair shops might do, just to make a quick buck. When I brought my car in for the second time, for some tire inquiries, T remembered me by name and did not turn me away- he assured me he would check it out and let me know. When you arrive, you walk into a clean and well-organized lobby with 3-6 chairs off to the left and a desk to the right. A lot of wiper-related product information is available for you to peruse while you wait for assistance from the service advisor. Once greeted, the person i spoke to was knowledgeable and efficient. I was offered a coupon for my service. Though it may be a bit more pricey than some places, because they were able to fit me in last minute and get me in and out so quickly, I'd give this place a 10/10. I was offered a coupon booklet as I left for future services, as well. I wish I could remember the man's name that serviced me in the lobby. He had dark hair and I hope this isn't offensive, but I remember the name being of middle eastern or South Asian origin. My best guess based off of what I vaguely remember his name to be, was that he was either Indian or Palestinian. I feel terrible not remembering but he was incredibly kind and provided exceptional service. I hope this helps identify him so he can be applauded. Wow! Camper had a blowout on the way up from South Florida. Brought it to Mavis at 7510 Redmond Dr, Orlando, FL 32836. Tuley took care of it right away. Was able to run and do an errand since he said it would be within the hour. Usually, I expect something like this to take longer. Nope, he called about 30 minutes later. This location has some of the rudest people and worst customer service I have ever dealt with . We got 3 of our tires changed yesterday at their other location "tire kingdom" on OBT. Which is about 20 mins from this location. When we were driving later last night one of the tires blew. Side wall and all. This morning , we figured since we live literally 5 mins or so away from this location and the warranty states you can take the car to ANY location to get it looked at my husband called. After speaking to one employee and he was clearly annoyed and frustrated, he put his manager on the phone. My husband explained the situation again and the manger said that they couldn't service us basically because we didn't go there to begin with. Then he got more irritated and told my husband to "look at the phone number in the confirmation email and to pick up the phone and call it". My husband has an accent. I don't know if that has something to do with them being complete jerks or what. But I will say when we did call the Tire Kingdom to let them know what just happened with this Mavis, they called this Mavis and magically they said they'd be able to replace the tire. My husband and I are typically really understanding and don't really get upset with people but when you're just blatantly rude it crosses a line. We spent almost $600 between the 3 tires and the oil change we can't afford a tow. We had to pay someone to come to our apartment today to change it for us. We offered to bring the tire to show proof at either location for a refund. Tire Kingdom said nope, we don't do refunds. My husband brought the tire to tire kingdom and apparently there was a hole from a nail or something. I'm still pretty positive the tire was faulty or something as well but honestly, the level of disrespect and just rudeness from especially this location was astounding. READ FIRST BEFORE GOING HERE On 1/31, I called this location to see if there was availability for an oil change same-day. I called at exactly 4:41PM, and the location was closing at 6PM. When I called, I spoke to a man, asked if they were able to take a vehicle for an oil change, and he said "Yes sure, bring it in." Upon arrival about 12 minutes after the call, a girl at the desk, whose name I did not catch, asked me if she could help me. I asked, "Do you still have time for an oil change?" She rudely and abruptly answered "I thought I told you NO." I told her I just called and was told to "bring it in." She said no. I told her that I talked to a man. She replied with "Don't you drive a Lexus?" (I do not) and "Gimme the keys." I began to try to understand why I was being treated this way, when she again said "Just gimme the keys." I asked to speak to a manager, when she replied "I AM the manager" with the typical contemptuous and ill-mannered smile you would expect from such a person. I responded in kind with a choice word of my own on my way out of the door. If their customer service is an indication of the other services they provide, they will most likely underfill your car's oil, overtighten the drain plug, and leave you wondering why anyone would hire such a "manager" to represent their business. read more

My tire's loosing air I got a screw in it. I take it off the car & bring it in to Mavis Tire on 11571 Daryl Carter Pkwy in Orlando to get it fixed, it's a 2 hr wait. The shady front desk guy calls over the Tech, yelled at him 3 times & he was only 12 feet away. The Tech & his buddy's are standing around looking at a computer laughing. He looks at my tire, I don't know if I can fix it dry rot. See those little cracks between the tread, I say no. I see very few small hairline cracks on the side wall of the tire. Then they explain when he uses the jaw on the tire he could destroy it because of dry rot. Then the Tech sais, I don't usually fix these but I'll try. It's gonna be $160.00 for the cheapest new tire, it's like a bad dream. I go to Tire Kingdom on 7601 Majorca Pl. They fixed my tire in an hour. I ask the Tire Kingdom guy if dry rot is a concern. He sais no. your tire is 4 years old & the dry rot is so minimal it isn't a concern at all. He even mentioned the Tech working on the tire would have said something about the tire if he noticed anything. read more

Today I had a bad experience at Mavis in Winter Garden. I left my car for alignment and balancing at 0900AM and stopped by at 0300PM to see if it was ready. At that moment, the person who assisted me informed me that the car was not yet ready, so far ok, but what surprised me was that the attendant only informed me at that time that he did not perform alignment, I was a little disappointed but I agreed to carry out only the balancing. I returned at 5:15PM and the same attendant said the car was not ready yet and after going to talk, perhaps with the Manager, he came back saying that he would be the next one to carry out the service. So I decided to cancel the service, which caused me a loss because it was a work car, but what upset me the most was the unpreparedness and lack of empathy with the customer by Mavis employees.
