Brought in a RWD car for a rotation with 5/32 and 9/32 left on the treads (measured on all three grooves both immediately before and after bringing the car in). The gentleman that did the initial check told me the rear tires were "shot" below 3/32 but didn't show me any measurements. It was an obvious lie. He then told me they couldn't touch my car without selling me new tires and refused to do the rotation. I think these folks tried a classic scam by misrepresenting the state of my vehicle, then told me it'd be unsafe to leave unless I bought some product from them. I'd strongly recommend not trusting these folks to determine whether you need new tires. They very obviously lied to me about it. read more

I picked up the Michelin defender LTX ms2 for truck and they were fitted well with no issues! I came in with an appointment for new tires and had this done quickly with the amount of people coming into the shop. Truck tires aren't cheap but at-least discount tire has a good deal with life time rotations. Chase was great needed new tires and was very helpful. The rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I may have missed it but I wish they had a water/coffee station some do not the end of the world though. read more

I was out and about running errands and all of a sudden I received a low tire pressure warning and it was dropping quickly. (By the time I was able to pull over the tire was flat.) I would not recommend this location for any reason. I am very disappointed with Discount Tire. I have been getting my tires from them for years and always had good service, no matter what store I went to. Today this location was horrible! I had a 10:00 AM appointment for a tire rotation. I arrived at 9:45 to check in. There was no one else there, and there were no other cars waiting. I got checked in and was told my car should be ready by 11:15. Surprised it would take so long, I went to Denny's to wait. Finally at 11:00 I walked back to the store to see my car was still sitting outside. I went inside to see the waiting area had probably 10 people, and lots more cars outside. They still had not worked on my car! One hour and fifteen minutes after I had arrived! To say I was mad, was an understatement. I told the man behind the counter I had arrived at 9:45 and why had they not started on my car when no one else was in front of me, and there were no other cars there. He tried to tell me that my 10:00 am appointment then had 15 minutes to check me in, when I told him I had arrived at 9:45 and it was done then. I could go on and on, but basically they had no excuse, and tried to tell me they took the cars according to their appointment. So why was my car still sitting there? There were no other cars in front of me when I had arrived. I was so annoyed I asked for my keys and left. I will not come to this shop again, and when it comes to buy more tires, I will go elsewhere. Do not expect to be taken according to your appointment, and do not expect your wait to be short. I recently purchase the sensors through eBay because the reasonable price compare to the store and the store doesn't make a big deal of me buying parts elsewhere due to the price and they say that they can also help me install the part. But it's totally wasting time for me and for the store because the part won't compatible with my car connection. So finally the store offer me their part and price match them. And problem solved. So lesson learned here : save time and don't be cheap on things , you will end up wasting time. I rather buy parts from them in the future. The team of guys I worked with had a great heart even when we didn't see eye to eye. From a customer perspective, I've used this location prior to being employed. I have never had an issue with this location, customer service has always been consistently good, the interior of the building has been clean and overall was a nice environment. I bought my set of tires at a Discount Tires in Illinois, knowing that they have an optional lifetime warranty. I had to use this after an unfortunate incident on I-75 in north Florida. The team member who serviced me told me that he could repair the tire or have one ordered for me. Unfortunately the damaged tire was not repairable but the store presented an option to me where they had a similar (but not identical) tire they could install right away. Installation was free but again they offered the lifetime warranty on the tire for $14.65 after tax. These guys do nothing but tires and they are darn good at it. Don't spend 2-3x as much at the dealer for no guarantee. Use this establishment, instead. read more
