The shop quoted almost $700 after my having spent a little over $900 earlier this month relating to that same P0455 code. "Lucky" for me, the car started hesitating, dash lights flashing, and difficulty steering, so I was afraid to drive and didn't want to call a tow just to get it to the shop. Convinced I'd have to get a new car, I found Kevin's paperwork in the glove box from 2023 and gave him a call. Kevin came over and asked detailed questions about what I experienced...he told me what he thought might be going on and that it may not be as bad as I thought. Kevin walked me through the process and I was able to see what he thought needed attention, why it need attention, and how he fixed each problem. He got the orders in for all the parts right before the shops closed and the receptionist even went out and picked up the parts from the stores where the delivery people had already left for the day.
