He found "nothing" wrong with the car and returned it with the light OFF. We got an inspection sticker the next day and the light came on that day after. It's the same code and the same emissions problem. He unplugged the battery to clear the code and gave the car back to us. The car cost $7,000 and it's $9,000 to fix. We are filing a small claim lawsuit. Buyer beware!!!

I knew I wanted to find a place that wasn't one of those dealerships that haggle you with the price or make you feel pressured to buy! That's when I found North End Motors! I went in and was greeted by Corey Gray! I told him I wanted a GMC Terrain and he brought me to look at two asked what I liked and didnt like. I never once felt pressured! I test drove a nice white GMC terrain had low miles but I wasn't fully sold I told Corey I had to go home and sleep on it! He gave me his card and we parted. That night all I could think of how I didn't want to keep car shopping and how helpful Corey was to me! I call him the next day and ran over and put a deposit down on the white GMC TERRAIN! I can't say enough how stress free and painless this was! Corey helped me from start to finish. They made sure the car was insured, registered, detailed,new plates! The complaint was then filed with the Norfolk District Attorney's office. I spent a lot of time writing and editing letters to their office so as not to leave out any details of what transpired. The written response from Eli- denied that he told me twice that he put a new battery in the car which I didn't even ask for. I didn't ask for money for a new battery in the complaint, but did ask for the money for an alarm I had installed (he intimated that there was an alarm in the car and a co-worker told me that if someone broke into the car an alarm would go off)-the car didn't have an alarm system. Some of what was written in his response did not make any sense, probably just avoidance. Several people that I have run into in town have not had positive experiences with the mechanical part of the business-it isn't appropriate for me to state what they have said on the internet, Also, I was at a local store where he does business often and an employee told me he is a "smooth" talker. Lesson learned-get everything in writing-I would have him sign a paper stating that he was going to put a new battery in. When I learned about the false advertising I could have not purchased the car, but everything happened so fast.

i do have trust issues on their ability to actually fix my car. i originally brought my car in…read morebecause my brake was acting weird. they just randomly changed my brake pads that i changed not so long ago and it did not fix the issue. few months later i come back to get my inspection done here and they failed me for the same reason that they did not fix correctly to begin with. i gave them another shot to fix it and they thought it was the calipers that might need to be replace. they some how ended up replacing one control arm, conveniently pass my inspection but my car is still having the same issue. i have to step on the brake very hard and for a long time to get it to work. it's gotten to the point that i got used to driving it this way, i just keep 2 car distance at all time. but it does not change the fact they did not fix the issue and charged me for different services both times. i didn't even bother bringing it back because i feel like they just playing car parts roulette and replacing random things then hope it works. if you go here for a general inspection sticker with a newer car it will be fine but i dont trust their abilities to fix old cars
