Immediately, the salesman introduced himself and we had a brief conversation about what I was looking for in terms of vehicle and price. He asked for my keys so he could get a copy of my registration from my car. First, he brings out a make of car that I did not like. Totally fine, he's not a mind reader. Like any reasonable person I look over the car to be sure it's not the right fit, and tell him "thank you for showing me, I think I'm looking for something more along the lines of _____". Immediately he seems to get defensive and frustrated, stating along the lines of "this is just what I usually start with, and with what you're putting down this is pretty much what you're looking at". So, okay. That's fine. It was frustrating feeling like I was being told what I had to put down wasn't good enough (it was about $1000 on a $15000 car). Whatever, we move on. I ask him a couple general questions about other cars on the lot and every time I am met with "I don't know, I don't have every car on the lot memorized". Finally we land on a car I'm somewhat interested in, and the car had been in two collisions. When I asked about purchasing an extended warrantee, he kept avoiding my inquiry pushing that the car would be covered under the lemon law Eventually, between trying to work two sales at the same time, I decided that I didn't trust this guy and it wasn't worth it. Only problem was, they still had my keys so I couldn't just leave. Not a huge deal, but I think it's kind of a scummy move that puts you in an awkward position. Overall, I felt like I was trying to convince the salesman to sell me a car. It felt like pulling teeth. Do I think it's a terrible place? No. Do I think they probably have some good salesmen? Sure! Would I go back? Definitely not. I went elsewhere and was able to get a really nice vehicle for a great price.

After learning on my own that this part was on an extended warranty as the result of a class action law suit, I brought the car into Planet. They confirmed the problem and the warranty. The parts was ordered and received in a few days. I scheduled an appointment and the repair was done in a few hours; they even gave me a loaner car at no cost. Everybody I dealt with was pleasant and professional. It was a great experience, especially knowing that this repair only cost me time. If something goes wrong with anything you own, Google the issue, it may be covered by the manufacturer.

Richard in the business department was friendly and was nice and clear through every step as I was financing with them which they did beat my rate. The reason this is a 3 star and almost a 2 honestly not to be dramatic, This car was marked down as sold by me with a down payment on a Saturday and I came back with my trade in the following Thursday to complete the transaction and actually had to sit and wait to give more time for them to detail and then apply the ceramic coating to the car after finalizing paperwork. Just for the car to come out looking no different almost like they sprayed the pressure washer once over before pulling it out. Interior was never given a once over and actually had a lighter on the seats from a technician which isnt a great look. Honestly not the biggest deal except for one thing that drives me up the wall. This car has NEON YELLOW calipers not only did they not even try to clean them I got the car with them completely black lol. Barrett sales was great aswell as Richard nothing really falls on them but whoever is back there servicing or specifically cleaning detailing a car getting sold needs to figure it out or go. Just make sure they clean your car to your expectations maybe you wont care as much as me.

My husband and I were there on a time crunch, and everything was sorted out and ready to go within two hours, and I was able to drive away with the car same day! I was so impressed with the attention and value they showed me as a customer, and appreciated the personal customer experience I was shown by Lou (the GM). I felt valued and like an actual human being, and not just someone they could make money off of. Unfortunately, my experiences with Ocean Honda since then have not met the previous standards I had for them based on my initial experience. I worked with Manny, and was told that my registration would be done within 1-2 days and that I could come in any time that week to get it, as well as my inspection sticker. Those two days passed without hearing from him, and I finally called three days later, to which Manny was not in the building and I would need to expect a phone call from him next day. Thankfully, he did call me back next day and I was able to coordinate a time to come in and get my registration. This would not have been a big deal if I had more flexibility in my work schedule, but if my registration had not been done by Friday (yesterday), I'm not sure what I would have had to do. I came in yesterday (Friday) with my 2 year old daughter to get my registration. I notified the person working at the front desk, and was told that Manny would come out and meet me shortly. I waited for 45 minutes with my daughter without seeing Manny, but once he did come in, there were multiple instances where he walked right by me, didn't acknowledge me, and I couldn't tell if he didn't realize I was waiting there for him or if he was ignoring me. After waiting for a total of an hour, I finally just went up to him. He recognized who I was instantly and took my car to the service center right away. I totally understand if he was genuinely busy and could not take my car right away, but the lack of communication and my perception of being ignored made things a lot more stressful, especially since I had my toddler there with me. I would have appreciated being told, by either the front desk worker or by Manny himself once he came in, that they knew I was there and would be with me as soon as possible. Had I not gotten up and gone over to Manny myself, I'm not sure how much longer I would've had to wait before I was taken care of. I don't know what the situation was or why I was basically ignored for an hour, but I left Ocean Honda yesterday feeling very disappointed with my experience, especially since I had such a great first experience when I initially bought my car. I still am very glad I bought my car at Ocean Honda, but my experiences this week (and especially yesterday) have left a sour taste in my mouth. I would still recommend this dealership to family and friends, but I would be inclined to warn them that once you buy a car from Ocean Honda and they get your money, you may not feel as valued as you did when you were buying the car.

It is unlikely that we will continue bringing our business to Ocean Honda…read more Regarding the service of our 2019 Honda Odyssey. Which was bought in 2021. We bring the car in regularly for maintenance initially at your Brockton location and over the past year or more to your Hanover location. On every visit we are told that a multi-point inspection was completed and that the car is running great, no issues. For almost a year now we have raised concern about the Emissions warning light. This began anytime we would the driver side passenger door. We were told that the problem was resolved. It continued. We were concerned about a rattling sound from the engine. We were ignored by your techs until we were brought in for a recall. My wife had asked how much time was left on our CarDoc coverage, she was told until September 2026. She reiterated the problem with the rattling and the Emissions light. After the recall visit, my wife paid a part charge and was told everything was fine. The car stalled as she was leaving your parking lot. She returned it to the service department and without explanation it was fixed, and she was sent on her way, but the rattling remained and the Emissions light was still illuminated. We were unable to schedule another visit until last week because of your low inventory of courtesy loaners. The service representative attempted to charge me an assessment charge (on two occasions), which I believe was grossly inappropriate given the fact that we brought the car to you multiple times and it was cleared, and despite our concerns, an assessment was not actually done (previously). When I came to retrieve the car this morning, I was handed a suggested repair list with the estimated sum of over $5K. This is alarming, we have been diligent about the preventive maintenance of this car. We have also tried to identify problems so they could be remedied prior to the expiration of the CarDoc agreement. We have now been told that the repairs needed are no longer covered because time or mileage has lapsed. I understand CarDoc to be an upselling practice by the sales department. For the purpose of customer retention and locking the customer in to bringing the car to you rather than a private mechanic. It also is a mechanism used to trigger the purchase of a new car once the CarDoc agreement expires. This would explain the excessive calls and e-mails we get from Ocean requesting to buy back the vehicle (i.e. trade-in). Furthermore, it is no secret that there is money to be made by high-markup repairs or parts that aren't covered by CarDoc and unused or expired plans assist in generating revenue for both the service and sales departments. I also know that the dealership is able to keep the unearned revenue if the CarDoc agreement expires before the life of the vehicle or its performance decline. What concerns me is the practice of the "Wear Down Game." We were asking for repairs within the CarDoc coverage window and we were stalled and repeatedly told, "all is well." Now that our coverage is gone or minimized, we are suddenly told that there is a host of needed repairs. I find this practice to be unethical, and I intend to pursue the matter until I am satisfied with a reasonable remedy. Best regards,

The deal seemed too good to be true and Boy it was. Yes he fixed anything that broke within the three month warranty, which was a lot. Even after that, the suspension is shot the alignment always been off. Need to get new tires. The blower for the heat in air-conditioning blew on the last day of my warranty, Bob did give me the part, but I had to pay to have it installed only six months after purchasing the $16,000 car the calipers came off of one of my brakes which resulted in almost $1000 in brake work. Bob lied several times and said what a great car this was and how I wouldn't have to make any repairs for a very long time. The engine mounts are very loose in the car makes obscenely loud. Sounds when idling. In short on paper it looks like the best XC 90 I had ever purchased but in reality, it is the worst car I've ever purchased in my life Especially being a Volvo, which is usually the king of luxury and comfort at a reasonable price. The suspension is completely shot on this car. It's one of the roughest rides I've ever had. Most of the interior was broken and a lot of the wiring is wrong because random codes just turn on and off whenever they want don't be fooled by the cheap prices in low miles. In Bob's defense, he did fix the bare minimum of what he needed to fix but I personally would never buy a car from him ever go to a real dealer
