The gentleman, I think his name was Tim, came out to tell me they were taking $50 off their price which was $150 but charging me $50 for the dog hair. So I just paid $150 expecting to pay $200. They also used all natural products so that my dog would not get sick. When I got my car back it looked and smelled just like the day I drove it off the car lot. Their service was prompt. My husband and I have a 2009 Harley Street Glide we wanted detailed last summer. Jon, the owner…read morequoted my husband a price because he paid cash. He agreed to fully detail the bike, remove stickers and emblems and reflector stickers my husband did not want on the bike. We should have realized he was sleazy when he gave us a $50 discount because he wanted cash because he said he wouldn't have to give it to his wife for whatever reason (Learning the true meaning of you get what you pay for). He had been having an argument with her in our presence. Jon had the bike for 6-8 hours and when we arrived the things we requested be removed were not because he decided it was too much work for what he quoted. Then, our side was broken , which he later blamed my husband for. We have since had to replace the lock because he did not know how to open and close it properly. We bring the bike back home because my husband is furious that Jon quoted one price and then changed his mind and then broke our bag. Upon closer inspection of our bike, there is buffing compound splattered ALL OVER the bike and looked like he had just wiped the bike down real quick. We confronted him and he threw an absolute tantrum. He then threatened us that if we filed a suit against him that he doesn't need to worry because he is affiliated with WPD and Worcester Courts. Not very smart as my husband was recording him because he knew this guy had a bad temper and was being unreasonable after we had approached him with our concerns. I posted a review to his business page on Facebook and he flips out on me like a 3 year old in a grocery store. Calling me names, trying to insult me, claiming the bike I posted was not my bike and that it was a different one. We've had the same bike sine 2014 the "detail" was in the summer of 2015. After I posted my review on his Facebook page, two other people have contacted me asking me to join them in a civil suit against LJ's Shine Shop. One woman claimed she brought her car back 3 times for him to get it right. That her car smelt like weed for days after he detailed it. Another was a young man who said Jon actually did thousands of dollars worth of damage to his vehicle and that was someone his sister-in-law was dating!!! I will not be surprised if he is able to respond to this review, that he will be just as nasty as he was on my Facebook review. So the overall lesson I learned was- You get what you pay for. And what I paid for was cheap, shoddy work of a man child who cannot handle the fact someone posted a negative review on his work.

I booked an appointment online through Lux Mobile Wash website, paid for my deposit, and got immediate confirmation that it was confirmed and that I would receive a call soon to also confirm. I asked my roommate to stay at home for the day I had scheduled. I never received a call to confirm, which I found unsettling. I called the number and left a voicemail, and immediately got a call back! It turns out that they had another appointment scheduled for the time I had booked, and could not detail my car, so they would cancel the appointment and refund my deposit. I appreciated this, but asked if we could instead reschedule. Here comes the sketchy part. He agrees to reschedule, offers a 3 pm time slot. I said, my roommate who I arranged to be their during the day can't be there, but I live in a safe neighborhood so could leave my car open. He says yes, but asks me to leave my keys for him in case he gets locked out while detailing. ... Seriously? He expects me to leave my keys in the car??? I agree (but was not planning on it, figured I'd just run home if he got locked out). Anyways, he promises to call again as it gets closer to 3 pm, and as you may expect, he never does. It's now been almost a week with me calling every other day asking for an update, a call back, or my money back. No reply. Left multiple voicemails. Thought, despite all my misgivings about his sketchy behavior as above, that I would like to try to support a small local business? However, enough is enough. This is a total scam, if this is a legitimately run business then my only verdict is that it's an extremely poorly managed one. I am now working with my credit card company to try to get back my deposit.

I called them to book and the woman was clearly distracted, though we booked the 2 cars for Monday and Tuesday. Then they call me on Sunday and say "Whoops, we're not open tomorrow. We can rebook you for Friday." Ok, fine. I show up on Tuesday at the agreed upon drop-off time of 7:30am. By 8:10am, there is still no one there, and they're not answering the phone, despite me confirming twice during booking and again on Sunday that I could drop off between 7:30-8:00am. I left a voicemail expressing my disappointment and asked them to call me before Noon and make it right or I'd contact Groupon. Still no call, still no acknowledgement of them missing our appointment. I've contacted Groupon and gotten a refund. Don't waste your time.

It needed the timing belt replaced, as well as all of the fuel lines, and they did a phenomenal job! They walked me through what they were doing, so I knew my car was in good hands. When I told the mechanic that the windows were getting stuck on the way back up and my previous mechanic spewed a bunch of stuff about how he'd need to remove the whole door panel to get it fixed, he looked at me, raised an eyebrow, and squirted a little bit of lubricant on it. The windows worked fine after that! I'm thrilled with the work they've done on my car, and I would make the hour and a half drive to go to them again.
