A few weeks ago, I had a vibration in my front end so I asked them to balance the tires when they rotated them. When I picked it up, the guy looked right at me and said they checked and the balance was fine. The vibration didn't go away so I took it to another shop and the first thing they said after they did their inspection was "2 of your tires were definitely out of balance." So the guy at Belle Tire straight up lied to me. My in-laws have already washed their hands of this location and I will be doing the same now.

The Brickyard has virtually any part or service you might need for a Bricklin. With approximately 5 Bricklins in various stages of repair/rebuild/refurbishment, they can handle anything from the most minor repairs to off the frame complete rebuild. Designed by Herb Grasse of Batmobile fame, these cars had a production run of about 13 months and made about 2900 cars. Model SV-1 came in 5 colors, and they all had acrylic body panels with gull-wing doors. Ride, handling, performance & size closely matched the Chevrolet Corvette of that era. With a full frame and built-in roll cage, this car was definitely ahead of it's time. It would be several years before another gull-wing car (Delorean) would be produced, and likewise for the acrylic paneled Saturn cars. A testament to the brand is that there are over 1500 still in existence today. My Bricklin is in good shape mechanically, but it needs some body work after having been in Texas for decades. That Texas sun, along with natural aging, tends to put cosmetic cracks in the body panels. I found Bob's Brickyard easily capable of handling the task at hand.

We took our 2016 Nissan in when the AC pulley started screaming metal-0n-metal. After 3 trips back to the shop to stop the leaking, it was declared FIXED. Well that was like the second week of November so we did not get to run the AC--though it seemed cold for November. The real problem started come December a we had NO heat, the fan was blowing full speed, but we had ZERO air flow from the vents. Fast forward to today (85 degrees) and we try the AC. The air is flowing and it feels cold, for about 10 minutes and now it is blowing WARM air--probably around 70 degrees(?) We went to this shop after an even worse experience at some hack shop on Victory in Howell off grand River. It seems the Nissan was too much for Hi-way Tires and Service? When your AC needs service, do it in the summer and find a garage that has great technicians.

They said it was a manufacturer issue. Ok, that's fine. So they ordered the replacement part and it came in June 14th. Sam called me August 3rd to let me know that my part was in. Almost two months it sat in their shop!!! Sam wouldn't work with me and resolve the matter in a civil way. She threatened me and lied to me. IMO, they should care more about customer satisfaction rather than winning races.

Talked to Matt the year prior about everything I wanted 500-600 hp vehicle and it was agreed that I had a good budget for what I wanted. I admit the wiring on the vehicle was a mess but we'll get to that later. Car sat outside for 2 months with nothing being done until I threatened to pull the vehicle out. Magically the motor was out in 1 day and the vehicle again sat outside. I was suppose to be paying as they got work done and paid around $12,000 before finding out nothing was being done on the vehicle. They asked for more to cover the "labor" they were doing when they weren't doing anything and the motor was in pieces on a stand. Had to again tell them I was going to pull the vehicle before work continued. I bought some parts from motionrace works, ICT, Jegs and other name brand parts, was told they weren't gonna work and they weren't gonna use them. I got these companies involved and they insisted I got pictures of the parts not working, to which I asked Vector for pictures and never received any because their e-mail "wasn't working". Had to talk with the owner Sam Moore and she assured me she would take a more "hands on approach" and make sure the vehicle would get done correctly "they are a fabrication shop" was the sentenced she used. Had to continually push them to get the work done. Was told my battery was bad, so I agreed to a new one and they got one that is not the same CCA as the old one and to tall to work for the cover to go over top. Couldn't make the audio system work after they unplugged to wire in the Holley computer and battery relocation. They damaged the timing cover with a screw driver and tried to sell me a new one for $160 dollars to which I found a black timing cover and billet timing chain set for the same price. Decided to show up and see their progress to find the whole front of the engine apart because the water pump "was hitting the timing cover" after 9 weeks of the water pump being on the vehicle. The coolant cross over pipes were left loose and just banging around on top of the engine. Finally it came time for the dyno and I was told it'd take 2-3 days. I had a ride to go and get the vehicle and was then informed it wasn't finished. Had to wait another week of it being "dyno'd" only to arrive on Friday with the vehicle incomplete. On the drive home a bracket was banging on hood, 02 sensor wire was left dangling down, power steering pump was left low and whining the hoses they said they'd adjust were not adjusted. The windshield valence was left off, reverse lights don't work, fender wells attached by literally 2 threads on the bolts, threads stripped out, tune is far far too rich and will need re-tuned. Frankly when things started to go bad the owner Sam Moore avoided me at all costs and wasn't there on pick up. Vehicle was there for a total of 10 months and for a total of $30,000 I'm sincerely disappointed in the fit and finish and tune. I didn't any of the extra bolts back and they want me to waste my fuel and time to come back and get them and "try to make things right" which I do appreciate but I really don't want them charging me more money or wasting my time to screw it up. They are more worried about padding their pockets then providing a decent product. Please don't be like me and have a 366 horsepower "good base" as they put it $30,000 disappointment from them sitting in your garage. Go somewhere else.
